About: What sets me apart is my experience, reliability, and genuine love for dogs. I’m a 21-year-old exercise physiology student who loves being active and outdoors—walking dogs is the perfect combo! I’ve dog sat and walked for many families and have two Australian Shepherds of my own, Georgia and Ruby, who I miss dearly while at school. I’ve also volunteered with hospice patients and babysat my whole life, so I’m comfortable with responsibility and care. Whether your dog is playful, shy, young, or senior—I’ll treat them like family! Pet care fits perfectly into my weekly routine! I’m a senior at WVU with a flexible internship and classes only a few days a week. I’m available Tuesday and Thursday after 11, Wednesdays until 3, Fridays until 2, and weekends until 3. I love being outside and staying active, so walking and caring for dogs is something I truly enjoy and easily make time for in my schedule. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I treat them like family. I always prioritize their routine, comfort, and safety—whether that means sticking to their feeding schedule, giving them plenty of outdoor time, or just being a calming presence. About: I have been caring for pets for the past three years, earning the trust of friends, family, and clients who rely on me to keep their pets safe. During this time, I have been working with Wag!, and since I recently moved, I am starting to work here as well. I have completed over 400 walks through Wag!, along with several sittings and boardings, leading to many repeat clients and happy pups. I am comfortable working with pets of all sizes and temperaments. In addition to my client-based pet care, I also work at Animal Friends Shelter, where I learn new things about quality care, medical needs, and behavioral needs every day. When I'm not working, I enjoy hiking with my dog and continuing my education. I am a member of Pet Sitters International, from whom I have received my insurance. They offer monthly courses focused on quality in-home pet care. I am saving up for their professional pet sitter certification and hope to complete all their coursework soon. Additionally, I am a supporting member of the IAABC Foundation, which is led by animal behaviorists and trainers. I am following some of their continuing education courses, combined with my hours working at the animal shelter, to earn their credentials in shelter behavior. Pet sitting has always been a fun opportunity for me to earn income since middle school, and now that I am embarking on my law school journey, I hope to continue that trend. About: My roommate and I have both cared for and grown up around dogs of all ages and sizes and love them all equally! We have both had senior pups of our own and understand the special accommodations they require!! We are quite an active bunch, so walks/hikes are likely to be included! My schedule can be erratic being that I work in an emergency department. I work 12 hour shifts on random weekdays/weekends. My roommate works a standard 8-4 job on weekdays! I try to keep my calendar up to date on Rover and only accept pups during a stretch of days where one of us is always home!! I live in a 3floor townhome and have the perfect neighborhood for dog walking! Our townhouse is very spacious, so we have plenty of room for crates, dog beds, and toys! There are no other pets who live in our home and we only watch one owner’s dog(s) at a time, so if your fur buddy is not great around unfamiliar pups, we could be a good fit for you!
