One of my dogs is a coonhound and she spent lots of time making sure he got plenty of enrichment and "hound time". My other dog has not historically been the friendliest around smaller kids, but I don't know what kind of magic she worked because he was accepting belly rubs, interacting playfully, and having a great time. The farm was so great for my pups and I will be desperate to book her next year when we're in town again!!”

About: My husband and I are both full time DNP students allowing us to be at home 6 days a week. We have cared for our 3 year old corgi together, but have both had family pets previously. We are skilled in medications administration and emergency care for your fur baby! This is a child free, cat free and smoke free home. Daisy, our corgi, loves to play and make new friends. We are currently full time DNP students that allows us to be at home full time Sunday through Thursday. We are awake from the hours of 6am until 10pm. Potty breaks are able to have every 2-4 hours. Feeding schedules are based on your fur baby’s needs, however our dog eats twice a day once at 6am and again at 6pm. In our neighborhood we have a walking path that we frequently walk our dog with a leash on. Our dog loves to play with other dogs. Our home is tidy and nothing is left on the floors or within reach that could harm an animal. Our house is not located near any high traffic roads. Our back yard is positioned against an open field. Unless your dog is highly trained with good recall skills, I will not let them run free in the backyard for fear of them running away. Dogs are family in our home!

About: I’ve been taking care of animals as long as I can remember. From taking care of my own pets to helping others out with their pets, I love providing the pet care an owner needs help with and a pet needs. Growing up, I lived across the street from my great aunt who bred and showed Great Danes. From a young age I remember sitting and watching out the front window for my aunt to come home so I could call her and ask if I could come help her with her Danes. When I was 10 years old, I started my own dog walking/pet sitting business and I have helped numerous families out with their pets while they were out on vacation or just needed help getting their pets outside for some exercise. I am available for full time or part time work. I am currently a stay at home mom, so my availability is fairly free, but it varies from week to week. I am pretty flexible and willing to work with your schedule. I let my pets out multiple times a day and take them on walks. I love to take my pets out on hikes as well.

I have harness and long lines to make sure your dog has the ability to run and play safely even though I don't have a fenced in yard. My dogs will only interact with yours if you ask for it, as I know some dog just prefer to be on their own. I have toys of all sizes and types. All dog will be leashed before any door is opened to ensure no dog will be getting loose. I know how to administer medications if needed along with how to give the dog the Heimlich. Your pets safety is my number one priority.

She was very accommodating when it came to drop off and pick up times. During our 2 dogs stay she kept us updated through the day with how they were doing along with plenty of pictures to put us at ease that they were very well taken care of. She truly treated them as her own. Our young lab and pit mix pup are full of energy and can be a handful and that didn’t bother her. I’d feel completely safe leaving them with her again and if we’re ever in the area again we’ll definitely be booking thru her!”
