About: I have always cared for animals both in my family as well as with friends and neighbors for approximately 13 years. I am an NC State graduate with a B.S. in Animal Science with a lot of knowledge to bring including the best ways to care for your animal, ensure their safety, and even train new commands. Not only can I care for dogs and cats, but I can also care for rodents, birds, reptiles, etc. During the summer I will be mostly available during the week. I am currently a full time master’s student and will be able to fit pet care into my schedule both during the week and on the weekends. I do work most afternoons beginning at 2:30 pm but times are adjustable. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I am an active person in a very safe neighborhood in Raleigh making neighborhood walks super easy. Walks will be easy to take and I will ensure both indoor and outdoor playtime. I do have roommates but they also love animals and work during the day most days.

About: I’ve taken care of family dogs my whole life and I have over a 2 years experience in a dog kennel so I am very familiar with any breeds/issues you could think of. I have experience in basic care, feeding, bath/nails. Currently I’m working with animals full-time so luckily I have a pretty open schedule for any fun ! I also have a pup of my own if yours is ever looking for a play date. For each individual dog I will meet their own personal needs because every dog is different. I really just conform to the dog’s personality and what would make the best experience for them.

About: Hi My name is Maryssa and I’ve taken care of dogs since I was about 10 or 11 years old . I really wish I could adopt every dog I see haha , but I do have Three dogs of my own two chihuahuas, and one Maltese. Neighbors , family , and friends all come to me when they need a reliable and dependable person to watch their pets . My schedule is pretty much open availability at the moment , but I do ask when booking that you are on time and if you are running behind there needs to be communication . If you are more than 45 minutes late Dropping your pet off we will need to reschedule for another time . I don’t have a fence at my home but I personally walk my dogs on a leash, or harness . My animals are pet friendly so your fur babies will be kept company .

About: I have raised many different types of dogs for 15+ years. For the last 5 years, I have housed many different animals in need. I have trained puppies, as well as nervous, and abused dogs. I make sure my home is a very welcome environment for animals of all kinds. Like my husband likes to say, I want a petting zoo in life. I currently work part-time in a pawn shop and full time mom to an adorable little toddler. We love being able to be around and care for animals as much as we can. I go on holidays maybe once or twice a year so I’m always around willing to help train or even just be a companion to your furry friend while you’re away I have an open yard with plenty of space to run around. I also have crates within the house just in case they need to be crated too. I have 3 adult dogs that roam free and are very friendly, as well as 3 puppies, and a 2 cats inside my house as well too. But it’s very rare my cats will come out during the day if I’m housing a dog inside.

My experience in pet care comes from having my own pets, caring for those of family and friends, and volunteering over the years. About: **Experience:** With over 13 years of pet care experience, I've had the privilege of caring for a diverse range of animals, from playful puppies to wise senior pets. My journey in pet care has not only given me a deep understanding of their needs but has also enriched my life in countless ways. **What Sets Me Apart:** While my extensive experience is a testament to my dedication, what truly sets me apart is my innate ability to connect with pets on a deeper level. I believe every pet has its unique personality, and I pride myself on being able to tune into their individual needs and preferences. **Special Skills:** - **Senior Care:** Senior pets hold a special place in my heart. I'm well-versed in catering to their specific needs, be it administering medication, assisting with mobility, or simply providing them with the extra love and patience they deserve. Choosing me as your pet sitter means entrusting your beloved pet to someone who sees this not just as a job, but as a passion. I promise to care for your pet as if they were my own, ensuring they are happy, safe, and loved in your absence. **Integration of Pet Care into My Routine:** Working from home has been a blessing in many ways, especially when it comes to pet care. It allows me to seamlessly integrate pet sitting and care into my daily routine. Here's how: 1. **Constant Supervision:** Being home throughout the day means I can keep a close eye on the pets, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. 2. **Regular Breaks:** My flexible work schedule allows me to take short breaks, perfect for playtime, walks, or just some cuddle time. This ensures that pets under my care receive ample attention and aren't left feeling lonely or bored. 3. **Immediate Response:** If a pet shows any signs of distress or discomfort, I'm right there to address the situation immediately, be it a need for a bathroom break or just some reassurance. 4. **Structured Routine:** While I maintain a structured work routine, I also ensure that pets have a routine they can rely on. Regular feeding times, walks, and play sessions help them feel secure and at ease. Incorporating pet care into my daily routine has been a joy. It not only breaks the monotony of a workday but also brings joy, laughter, and unconditional love right to my workspace. **Caring for Pets: In My Home vs. Client's Home** **In My Home:** When pets are entrusted to my care in my own home, I ensure: 1. **Safe Environment:** Before any pet's arrival, I conduct a thorough safety check, ensuring there are no hazards or escape routes. 2. **Personal Space:** Each pet is provided with a comfortable space of their own, equipped with their bed, toys, and personal items to make them feel at home. 3. **Socialization:** If there are other pets, I ensure supervised introductions and monitor their interactions to ensure harmony. 4. **Routine:** I maintain a consistent routine for feeding, walks, and playtime, mimicking their usual schedule as closely as possible to reduce stress. **In the Client's Home:** When I'm caring for pets in their own environment, I respect the following: 1. **Familiarity:** Recognizing that pets are most comfortable in their own environment, I make sure to keep their routine as unchanged as possible. 2. **Home Safety:** I ensure all doors and windows are secure, and the pet's usual safety measures are in place. 3. **Communication:** I keep clients updated with regular messages and photos, so they're assured of their pet's well-being. 4. **Respect for Property:** I treat the client's home with utmost respect, ensuring it remains clean and tidy. Any messes or accidents are promptly addressed. **Services Offered:** While I'm equipped to care for pets both in my home and the client's home, the choice ultimately lies with the client. Some pets thrive better in their familiar surroundings, while others enjoy a change of environment. I'm flexible and aim to provide the best care in whichever setting is chosen.

I primarily work from home and my work schedule is pretty flexible. I am pretty active and enjoy being outdoors. Personally, I take walks throughout my day to keep fit and healthy while working from home, so fitting your pet into my schedule is no issue at all.
