Ken was really great for my special needs cat and my reactive dog. He was patient and kind with my dog as she warmed up to him and followed all the little nuanced instructions for my elder cat’s routine. I was gone for four full days and returned to calm and happy pets. This was my first pet sitting experience, and he immediately set my mind at ease. He sent pictures and notes every day. Definitely recommend. Im looking forward to him pet sitting again! Thanks Ken!

About: I have always cared for animals both in my family as well as with friends and neighbors for approximately 13 years. I am an NC State graduate with a B.S. in Animal Science with a lot of knowledge to bring including the best ways to care for your animal, ensure their safety, and even train new commands. Not only can I care for dogs and cats, but I can also care for rodents, birds, reptiles, etc. During the summer I will be mostly available during the week. I am currently a full time master’s student and will be able to fit pet care into my schedule both during the week and on the weekends. I do work most afternoons beginning at 2:30 pm but times are adjustable. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I am an active person in a very safe neighborhood in Raleigh making neighborhood walks super easy. Walks will be easy to take and I will ensure both indoor and outdoor playtime. I do have roommates but they also love animals and work during the day most days.

About: I’ve had/been around many different types of dogs my entire life. My family would always want me to come over and train/watch theirs animals for them like I was the go to person for anybody who got a new pet. I also use to volunteer at a boarding company to help feed/walk the dogs. I currently do doordash so I can pretty much fit any request in to my schedule. The most amount of time I would be away would probably be around 5-6 hours. I’m a dependable and caring pet sitter who treats every pet like my own. I know how important routines are, so I make sure pets are fed on time, get plenty of attention, and feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. I’m patient, responsible, and good at picking up on what each pet needs, whether that’s playtime, walks, or just some extra cuddles. I also like to keep owners updated so they can relax knowing their pet is happy and well taken care of.

I can even take pictures with your dog and send you pictures and little updates in case you miss your little furry friend while you're on your trip. I love dogs so much and I've always wanted to make money doing something I love. That's why I have come to this app to work. Pet care fits in my daily and weekly routine. If I have any questions at all I will text and call immediately. If watching your home I can also do some cleaning for you for when you get back so everything is in order.

About: **Experience:** With over 13 years of pet care experience, I've had the privilege of caring for a diverse range of animals, from playful puppies to wise senior pets. My journey in pet care has not only given me a deep understanding of their needs but has also enriched my life in countless ways. **What Sets Me Apart:** While my extensive experience is a testament to my dedication, what truly sets me apart is my innate ability to connect with pets on a deeper level. I believe every pet has its unique personality, and I pride myself on being able to tune into their individual needs and preferences. **Special Skills:** - **Senior Care:** Senior pets hold a special place in my heart. I'm well-versed in catering to their specific needs, be it administering medication, assisting with mobility, or simply providing them with the extra love and patience they deserve. Choosing me as your pet sitter means entrusting your beloved pet to someone who sees this not just as a job, but as a passion. I promise to care for your pet as if they were my own, ensuring they are happy, safe, and loved in your absence. **Integration of Pet Care into My Routine:** Working from home has been a blessing in many ways, especially when it comes to pet care. It allows me to seamlessly integrate pet sitting and care into my daily routine. Here's how: 1. **Constant Supervision:** Being home throughout the day means I can keep a close eye on the pets, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. 2. **Regular Breaks:** My flexible work schedule allows me to take short breaks, perfect for playtime, walks, or just some cuddle time. This ensures that pets under my care receive ample attention and aren't left feeling lonely or bored. 3. **Immediate Response:** If a pet shows any signs of distress or discomfort, I'm right there to address the situation immediately, be it a need for a bathroom break or just some reassurance. 4. **Structured Routine:** While I maintain a structured work routine, I also ensure that pets have a routine they can rely on. Regular feeding times, walks, and play sessions help them feel secure and at ease. Incorporating pet care into my daily routine has been a joy. It not only breaks the monotony of a workday but also brings joy, laughter, and unconditional love right to my workspace. **Caring for Pets: In My Home vs. Client's Home** **In My Home:** When pets are entrusted to my care in my own home, I ensure: 1. **Safe Environment:** Before any pet's arrival, I conduct a thorough safety check, ensuring there are no hazards or escape routes. 2. **Personal Space:** Each pet is provided with a comfortable space of their own, equipped with their bed, toys, and personal items to make them feel at home. 3. **Socialization:** If there are other pets, I ensure supervised introductions and monitor their interactions to ensure harmony. 4. **Routine:** I maintain a consistent routine for feeding, walks, and playtime, mimicking their usual schedule as closely as possible to reduce stress. **In the Client's Home:** When I'm caring for pets in their own environment, I respect the following: 1. **Familiarity:** Recognizing that pets are most comfortable in their own environment, I make sure to keep their routine as unchanged as possible. 2. **Home Safety:** I ensure all doors and windows are secure, and the pet's usual safety measures are in place. 3. **Communication:** I keep clients updated with regular messages and photos, so they're assured of their pet's well-being. 4. **Respect for Property:** I treat the client's home with utmost respect, ensuring it remains clean and tidy. Any messes or accidents are promptly addressed. **Services Offered:** While I'm equipped to care for pets both in my home and the client's home, the choice ultimately lies with the client. Some pets thrive better in their familiar surroundings, while others enjoy a change of environment. I'm flexible and aim to provide the best care in whichever setting is chosen.
