About: I am a stay at home mom to 2 girls, ages 4 and 5 and we recently moved to the area! My husband is in the Navy. We live in a townhouse in North Beach, MD. I have a cat that can be timid with new animals, and tends to hide until he feels more comfortable. I would love to help out with your furry family members! I hate when I have to be away from mine so I would give them tons of love so they feel comfortable and at home while you are away. I am available for all needs except for pet sitting in your home, since I have kiddos that need me at my home. Please let me know if I can help you out in any way! Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you. I am with my girls a lot this summer but they would LOVE to accompany me on visits with your pet! I will have a lot more independent time this fall once they start school. We do not have a fenced in yard but I would be happy to do as many walks as needed for your pup! Our cat can be weary with new animals but he hides and then warms up quickly.

About: I’ve had pets and cared for animals since I was a kid. I appreciate the need to know your pet is being cared for when you are not available. My wife is a teacher so she is available all summer and holidays. I have the ability to telework given enough notice. We’ll do what we can to make sure your pet gets the care they need. We crate our dog while not home so I can take care of that if necessary. Our kids love animals and would be willing to come with me to get your pet some exercise and interaction!!

About: I've been a dog owner for over 20 years and was a foster parent for a San Diego based rescue group for over 3. I currently volunteer as a dog walker at a local Southern Maryland rescue and also foster with them as well. Our family has cared for, trained and assisted with the adoption of many different breeds from small to large and all ages, puppies less than 12 weeks included. In addition we puppy raise and train service dogs for a non-profit organization based out of NY. Pets bring so much love and joy to our lives and deserve the best care when we are away. I can promise they will receive the same love and attention as if you were home yourself. Current pet is a 13 year old yellow lab and pointer mix that we've had since he was 12 weeks old. He loves long walks, swimming in any body of water and snuggling with his cat brother, Tucker. In addition we have a 2 year old beagle that nothing but fun. References are available upon request. I work remotely and am home during the day. This allows me flexibility to care my own fur-children and yours from either my home or yours. I have a large fenced yard, friendly pups, a dog room and plenty of crates. We often crate and rotate to make sure our pups get enough one on one and would do the same for yours.

I work nights so I’m available most of the day (8:30am-2:30pm on days I work and any time on my off days, usually Mon and Tues I realize all dogs are different, so any specific instructions for your pet will be followed to the T. You can rest assured that I will be patient and caring with your family member!

“Absolutely hope to use Beth again for my doggos Gonzo and Charlie. Beth took both dogs on a 1 hour walk through the ACLT for me while I was out of town so that they got some good fresh air and burned some energy. She was super communicative with pictures and updates. Gonzo is reactive and so it can be a big challenge walking the two dogs at once, but she managed like a pro. I knew they were safe and having fun with her, which is all a dog mom could ask for. Thank you Beth!!!!”

About: I've been around animals all my life, and care for every single one that comes across my path. I have 4 animals so far that are living healthy and happy, and regularly babysit my neighbor's animals for weeks at a time. I wake up every day to my cat, and I want to extend that love to more animals who need that care when their owners are a little busy! It comes as a second nature to me, and I think about how my animals might be impacted by the actions I make, for example: I can never leave drinks on the counter anymore because my cat learned she likes coffee. Not anymore of course! I respect boundaries of animals and owners alike, whether that be physical such as a room not to enter or mental such as a certain word that an animal doesn't like to hear. If I am provided with rules I will follow them like a mantra.

About: For as long as I can remember, I have had animals in my life & have helped take care of them. From a young age, I helped my parents take care of our cats & dogs by being responsible for feeding them & making sure they have access to clean water. As I entered elementary school, I helped my parents take care of our neighbors pets while they were out of town & then eventually took over these responsibilities on my own. Most of my expereince throughout elementary, middle & high school involved pet sitting for cats as those are the animals most of my neighbors & extended family members had. However, during my first summer in college I began working for my county's humane society! My county's humane society only rescues & houses dogs. My employment with the humane society gave me the opportunity to work with a variety of different dogs as you can imagine. I now have expereince working with & caring for dogs of all breeds, ages & temperment. During my time with the humane society, I developed special skills including taking care of puppies, caring for senior dogs, & interacting with dogs who have temperment quirks. I have worked for the humane society for 4 years & during this time animal rescue & care has truly become my greatest passion. I look forward to applying the expertise I have acquired when it comes to taking care of your furry family members! I just recently graduated from college & am now back home for a few months before I start my career. I am currently working part time so I will have plenty of time & flexibility when it comes to caring for your animals. I will make the most of the areas you have accessible to your pets when caring for them. My work at the humane soceity gave me valuable training when it comes to recognizing & responding to emergencies if they were to arise.

About: I have 2 dogs and 1 cat of my own. I have assisted my daughters in caring for others pets to ensure they are well taken care of and loved like our own. My summer availability is open and flexible: As a current school employee I won’t be working from June 14 - end of August when school starts again. I will make sure your pets are well cared for with feedings, walks and loving attention. I will communicate with pet owners for reassurance on how visits are going.

“I chose Amanda to take care of my 2 dogs, a Great Dane and a lab mix in her home for a couple days when I went out of town. I made a great choice because she made it as easy as possible to be away by sending me updates often and pictures. I felt at ease that they were being taken care of how I would care for them. I would recommend her and would definitely use her services again. A+”

Christy I.
“Christy is kind and caring!! She treats my pets as if they were her own and I know they are always well cared for. We are able to trust her to follow our pets’ schedule and meet their unique needs. We are always able to count on her and appreciate the love she shows our pets! Highly recommend!”

Jason C.
“I have a really temperamental poodle mix that doesn't like anyone, but Jason is able to hold him with ease; it's rather astounding to see. I witnessed the love and care he gave his Husky who lived to be 17, which tells a lot about his pet caregiver skills. Jason's calm demeanor makes him an excellent candidate for dog sitting, and I would leave my bossy poodlehead with him anytime.”
