About: Hi! I have taken care of pets from different backgrounds and families and am willing to adjust and accommodate to any environment that is needed for the pet I currently work a full time job in Short Pump and commute home to the city. I am able to work around pet parents schedules if given enough notice in advance, and I appreciate those willing to work with my own schedule as well. No access to a yard for pups, and I do not have the space to accommodate for pups, therefore for boarding purposes I can only care for cats. I have an extra litter box, toys, and treats for your pet. Please feel free to bring your pets own food and their personal toys if necessary.

About: My name is Mary Catherine, also known as Katie. I am a nationally certified and licensed Veterinary Technician. I have been involved in veterinary medicine and shelter work since 2005. I currently have 3 cats of my own, and have had dogs and cats and various other animals all my life. I know how very important it is to find someone you trust to care for your babies while out of town or in need of assistance. I would love to be that person to care for your beloved family member when you need someone to walk them, care for them while you are out of town, or stop in to give medications and TLC! I am not only a dog lover, but a self proclaimed cat lady and would love to care for your feline friends as well!

About: I have loved dogs for all my life and have never been without one! I have more than 10 years of experience including pet sitting, dog walking, pet grooming, and volunteering at animal shelters. Although I’ve had several fur babies throughout the years, I currently have a 9 year old male chocolate labrador that lives with my husband and I. He is my favorite thing in the entire world! I am a local travel nurse and love to rover whenever I am not working in the hospital! I have experience with young, old, and special needs cats and dogs, including the visibly/audibly impaired, and experience with giving medications. I am available throughout the week (depending on my schedule) to come by your home to feed, play with, and care for your dog, as well as take them for walks throughout the day. I will treat your loved ones the same as I treat my own, with love, patience, compassion, and understanding! ❤️ As a travel nurse my work schedule changes everything 3-9 months, but is usually three twelve hour shifts per week. My availability will be dependent on my hospital schedule. I keep my rover calendar updated based on these schedules. My dog is my number one priority. His needs always come first and I work hard to make sure he has the best life possible. I offer these same commitments to your pets through my rover bookings. I make sure to get in touch with owners before booking to ensure I have all the information needed for their pet’s care, such as potty time, feeding schedule, any medications, walk times, etc. I’m always available for a meet and greet beforehand as well!

About: I have one dog of my own that I care for daily. I thrive on making sure her daily life is better than mine, from food to recreation! Finally, I have no issues updating you on your pet's contentment while you are away via text or email - just make the request! I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies! I currently work from home full time, which allows me the freedom to care for your furbabies during the week in my home, or on the weekends as well! While my preference is to care for your pet(s) in my home, I do have availability to house sit in your home on the weekends as well. I live in a townhome, however my pets go out on frequent walks around the neighborhood. My neighborhood tends to be quiet with minimal traffic. If I’m keeping your pets in your home, I will of course adhere to any requests that you have!

“Mary is a fantastic pet sitter! She pays attention to all of the details, big or small, and really knows how to make my pets feel special! She’s cared for my senior doggo, who has severe separation anxiety, as well as dementia - she always makes her feel comfortable, and is never impatient with her, despite her requiring someone with a never ending well of patience due to her anxiety and frail mind. I truly appreciate having Mary as a pet sitter, and I’d highly recommend her to anyone else, to care for both dogs and cats!”

Then once we got a corgi — she took responsibility to walk her often. She then got a cat who she took to college at VCU. And took care of multiple dogs in Richmond for neighbors. Before she bought a Great Dane puppy. She has taken care of her dog and is most responsible with it needs. She loves and enjoys all animals.”

Carleigh L.
“Carleigh has been a pet lover all her life. When she was a young child, our family raised AKC registered boxers and Carleigh loved being in the middle of the puppies. She has always lived in a home with several dogs of different temperaments and breeds. She also loves cats and has had, at times, a pet fish and pet hamster. In her early adolescence, Carleigh became interested in horses which led to competitive English riding, owning and caring for a horse. Carleigh understands that animals look to their humans for love, care and affection, as well as direction, discipline and authority. I trust carleigh 🙀 with all of my pets and highly recommend her to anyone else!”
