About: I have always had a love for animals since a small child. My exposure and interest for neighborhood animals and pets brought on opportunities for pet sitting in my community growing up. This love grew into a passion/career as I have been working as a Veterinary Assistant for 10 years and received my bachelors in Agriculture at Virginia State University in 2020. My schedule is currently flexible until October 19, 2026 allowing me plenty of time to tend to your pet(s) in need! After September, I will be available Monday-Thursday 6pm to 9pm and Friday- Sunday 9am to 10p. I have my own fur baby by the name of Sebastian. He is a 6 year old Yorkshire Terrier who loves to socialize with people and pets. We currently live in a suburban neighborhood that will make you feel safe to leave your fur babies in my hands.

About: I’ve had pets nearly my whole life and have been known to struggle to walk past an animal in need. This means rescuing an injured squirrel, a Cooper’s hawk, an opossum, and more, going the extra mile even when it was deeply inconvenient for me to do so. I also grew up attending zoo camp and then volunteering at a zoo from age 5 to 14, caring for a wide range of animals. I have worked with high energy pitties, a blind and anxious German shepherd, birds, cuddly kitties, fearful kitties, diabetic kitties, rabbits, and others. About: I have cared for dogs starting in middle school, for a variety of neighbors, friends, and family members. I really enjoy spending my time with dogs, whether that be walking, playing, or just relaxing together. I currently am participating in a program with America's Vet Dogs, where future service dogs are trained by inmates at local prisons, and individuals/families sign up to take 1 dog every weekend for a year, to provide the experiences out in the world that these pups need to become amazing service dogs! This is my second year my mother and I have been a part of this program, and I have learned so much about dog training that I never knew before! I feel confident that this experience with training and taking care of a dog that isn't mine has made me a qualified pet sitter. I am currently in grad school, so I have free time during the day to walk or drop in on pets! I can be quite flexible with my availability and schedule because of the nature of my grad program. In your home, I will ensure that your pet is safe and cared for always. Whatever your home situation, I can easily accommodate to your dogs and cats the best care, making sure that they feel loved and are having fun! I love to get outdoors, and can easily handle active dogs with lots of walks and playing!
