“Finn was very happy to have other dogs to play with! Kevin and Inez sent us a photo or video most days and that was great! Highly recommend these sitters for your fur babies!”

“So grateful for the good care my senior fellow got — I was able to enjoy my son’s Dartmouth graduation without worrying about Banjo. Appreciate their knowledge of senior care, their eco-friendly green living and the Dartmouth connection. Great experience!”

“This was my first experience booking through the Rover app. It was a very gratifying experience. I really lucked out with Sam and Thomas. They were so great! They took super care of Suki and sent pictures and notes. They clearly clued in to what I shared about Suki’s temperament. Suki had a great time and I was very at ease that she was in good hands. Thank you Sam and Thomas!”

“Sarah, Ben and Bean are the BEST. Attie had the most incredible time playing with Bean and I loved the updates and pictures. Sarah knew how nervous I felt leaving him for nearly 3 weeks and was so considerate and kind. Attie came home tired and he seems like he misses Bean and Sarah already. Love that we have found such an incredible family to leave Attie with when we are away ❤️”

“Min Joo is a very thoughtful and accommodating dog sitter. We had a wonderful experience and felt reassured that our dog was well taken care of with the frequent communication and photo/video updates.”

“Tom all around is an outstanding individual, great person all around, will treat your pet with the best care you could ask for, as a current law enforcement officer, I trust him like he’s a fellow officer, I HIGHLY recommend anyone to hire Tom as their dog sitter. 10/10”

“Denali had a wonderful time with Ashley and her family! She was well cared for and loved. I wondered if she would want to come home with me after such good care! Two other dogs, two boys, and someone home most of the time, what could be better!”

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Looking to get my own, but in the meantime, would be excited to watch yours. I have plenty of toys and treats and I’m happy to do anything that makes you feel comfortable to keep your furry friend happy! I currently work at Dartmouth Hitchcock full-time which is why I typically can only watch during the weekend. My flexibility means I can also sometimes work remote. Depending on your preference, I’m sure we can work out something great. I am happy to do anything that makes you feel comfortable. I love to go for a walk, so I’m happy to take them down to the small park that we have. Or if they’re not much of a walker, I’m happy to sit and relax as long as they know how to pick a TV show.

“Christina and Jason were great with my girls. I received pictures of them daily along with descriptions of their daily activities. They kept my girls busy and happy. I would highly recommend them.”

“I could see that my dog was having a good time and was in good hands. Edgar and Rene have two well-trained dogs already and spend plenty of time with them out in their yard. Edgar was always available and replied instantly to messages.”

“Samantha was great! She is the best Rover sitter that we’ve had for our dog. She took her on 1-2 walks per day and sent us plenty of pictures. Our dog seemed very happy with her, and Samantha was great with communication. Our flight got delayed almost two hours, and Samantha was very flexible with us picking our dog up later. Would highly recommend!!”

“Samantha was fantastic to work with. She was attentive to our need, always timely in answering questions, and was great in sharing photographs of our pet while we were away. I was impressed with the facilities Samantha had in place for the care of dogs. When collecting our pet, it was clear he was comfortable being in Samantha’s care which tells me he was well cared for. We highly recommend Samantha.”

About: Active on rover a couple of years during medical school, now looking to supplement my free attending time with furry friends to explore the upper valley! I love to hike and ski, always happy to take your pet on a fun adventure! I do shift work usually, so my schedule might not be very consistent, but I’m happy to work with you on it, just let me know! I’ve had plenty of time dog sitting, working at rover for a few years in Portland Maine and taking care of my husband’s family dog for weeks on end. Since my condo is rather small, I prefer petting sitting at their home. I like to keep their routine schedule, so would prefer clear instructions on the pet’s day to day.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was ten years old, and I absolutely love their company! I love caring for pets of all ages; our sweet rescue passed away a year ago, who we took in during her golden years, and now my wife and I have a 2.5 year old pup with an abundance of youthful energy. O she loves making new friends, and we would love to have some more dog time ourselves! We go on regular walks, play in the dog park at least once a day, and can handle any dietary, medical, or other type of need your little one has. I’m a paraprofessional; so I have summers off. I work freelance and gig jobs, which I mostly do from home and am used to scheduling around a dog care routine, as we have our own dog at home. I have a fenced yard, and our own dog to keep yours company! I have no issues following any boundaries you’d like me to follow with your pet: I’m happy to crate them when they need time to relax, keep them on or off leash as you prefer, and make sure they’re provided stimulation, play, and opportunities to earn treats!

“It’s always tough to leave our dog at a new place with a new person, but Alyssa made it easy and comforting :). Appreciated the check-ins and pictures too! Thank you for looking after Juno and she looks forward to seeing you again!”

About: Since I was 12, I have taken care of neighborhoods, friends, and families dogs, cats, and other pets. I have owned three dogs, other miscellaneous pets, and have raised three litters of puppies. I am more than happy to feed and care for other pets, including rodents, amphibians, and reptiles. I am a college student back home from July 30th to August 20th. My schedule is completely open and I can house sit during the week. I am unable to bring pets into my own home. I will stay over at my client’s houses with their pets because it tends to be more convenient.

“Noah was great! Very responsive, sent pictures and updates regularly and most importantly - took good care of Stella - our 7 yo sheepdog. Highly recommend!”

Patrick V.
“Pat has watched my two dogs multiple times over the years, across different living situations. Whether they needed to be walked, had an open yard, or fenced in property, he always managed them so well. One of our dogs had a very serious medication regimen for her heart condition and he handled it no problem. He even washed our bedding one time (including the mattress pad) when he noticed one of the dogs had thrown up on it. Excellent communicator, super reliable and can handle jumping, barking, you name it. Highly recommend!!”

Meredith K.

“Meredith is wonderful. She is very thoughtful about how she pairs her visiting pups for playtime. She is also very organized and an excellent communicator.”

“Shannon was awesome. Very communicative and took my booking last minute and was very accommodating figuring out the details. My dog loved sitting on their balcony porch :)”

“Tara was a rockstar! Johnny Nacho is a new pooch to the family, so I wasn't sure how he'd react to staying elsewhere. He did great! And Zella was fine too.”
