She was very quick to respond to my check in messages, which were quite frequent because I was so worried. She sent photo updates. She even clipped his nails for me! “My dog Flash stayed at Connie’s for 17 days during my trip overseas. I had never used Rover site + Flash never stayed with someone he did not know for such a long time, but they got along very well ? Connie kept me updated often with videos, photos and detailed report about how Flash was spending his day with them. Even though Flash can’t talk, I can tell he loved the walks, rolling in the grass in their large backyard, playing fetch forever, playing with challenging puzzles, cuddling on their sofas, sneaking upstairs to check their son’s bedroom for a quick nap..) It was very assuring and I could concentrate on my travel without worrying about Flash. Communication was fast, arranging times for meet/greet, drop off/pick up were super easy and accommodating. I would definitely board Flash again for my future travels.”

About: I’ve been blessed to have dogs as pets throughout my life and have never met a dog I didn’t like. Your dog will be taken care of like it’s my own while respecting your requests or routines. I’m often the go-to person for dog-sitting with friends and family. My experience has been with various dog breeds and ages all the way from puppies to seniors. I love them all! I work weekdays (school hours) but, being an active person myself, your dog will get regular excercise through daily walks and frequent playtime. Your dog will receive lots of love and attention in my home. I will also do my best to be consistent with your dog’s routines so they feel safe and comfortable. I have a clean, fenced yard that provides ample space for running around or playing fetch. I’ll also take your dog on daily walks around our dog-friendly neighborhood or nearby forest preserve. Your dog will be free to roam around the house unless you prefer that he/she is crated.

About: It all started when I was 5 and my sister and I convinced our animal loving parents to add to our family, we got a golden retriever puppy and a kitten in the same year. I have never lived a day without a pet in 35 years! I have open availability. I have 2 smaller dogs and a parrot. I live in a nice, quiet neighborhood perfect for walking furry friends. Ricky and Lucy (cavapoos) love a good slumber party :) I do not have a fenced in yard. My pups know the perimeters. I do take leashed potty breaks and walks with pup visitors. I am familiar with "runners" and an capable of making sure that doesn't happen!

I have two of each—along with a turtle, so I am not afraid of caring for aquatic animals. I have experience administering medication both orally and subdermally. So I am not afraid to do either. I would love to help take care of your baby in any way! I currently work Monday-Thursday. I am available all day Fridays and Sundays. And full days every other Saturday, because I work a half day every other. Can make some weeknights work, depending on the situation. I have a fully fenced in yard, so no need to worry about keeping your babies safe. Backyard comes with two super friendly dogs who love playtime with friends!

About: I grew up on a farm, and ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved animals. I’m a grandma with plenty of free time, and I would love to welcome your dog into our family while you are away. Since my grandchildren visit, please let me know if your dog does not get along with kids. Currently, I have a Frenchie and a mini Schnauzer who is paralyzed. They love other dogs, but I do have baby gates to keep them separate if needed. Owning a paralyzed dog has taught me a lot over the past couple of years. If your pet requires any special care, i am more than happy to accommodate their needs. I am never gone for longer than couple hours at a time. I have a very open schedule so your pet with get lots of attention. I will welcome your pet into our family and treat them as if they were our own. Please share your dog’s daily routine, and I will follow it to ensure they feel at home. I understand how stressful it can be when an owner is away, so I’ll make sure to give your dog extra attention, exercise, and love to ease their anxiety and make their stay as enjoyable as possible. I have baby gates and can provide your dog with space away from kids and my dogs if needed. I will take your dog on walks and provide off-leash time in our backyard as well. If your pet requires medication, I am happy to administer it.

With two playful Australian Shepherds for company, your dog will always have a buddy to run around with. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and are even invited to sleep in bed with me if they like! If they prefer their own space, I also have two crates available. My fenced-in yard is perfect for lounging, running, or chasing squirrels, and every morning I head to the dog park with my boys, where your pup is welcome to join us.
