About: Happy Hearts Pet Sitting gives dogs a wonderful park-like experience and loving environment. We have over 150 acres of beautiful rolling hills conveniently located between Lynchburg and Charlottesville. During the visit, we will take your dog for relaxing on-leash walks. When they are indoors, they will have access to a large, comfortable farmhouse with loving people to keep them company. We will never let your dog off the leash outside and will always give them the highest level of supervision. I have been watching dogs for conscientious pet owners for over 12 years, and I have had a dog for many years. Since the dogs have the run of the house and we live on a farm with lots of outdoor activity, we require that dogs are treated with flea and tick medicine before arrival. Other Information: The Rover calendar is not always correct, so please contact me with your dates instead of relying on the calendar(: Even if our calendar is marked as booked, we may still have extra spots. Always contact me to be sure we are fully booked! Note: I do not guarantee that your dog will be the only dog at my house during their stay. If you would like to know what dogs will be here during your dog's stay, just ask and I will be happy to check(: If you are uncomfortable having ANY other dogs here during your dog's stay, let me know and I can try and work that out. About: Hello, I am excited to meet you and your pup. I have worked professionally in clinic and in behavior for the last 21 years. I am a positive reinforcement based trainer for Good Pup. I have 3 personal fur babies and I foster with Save Rocky The Great Dane Rescue. I am currently working part time time so I have time in my schedule to devote to your fur kids. I have a doggie door for the emergency potties and I enjoy training so that can be part of the routine. I have a fenced in yard and I am able to provide mental enrichment as well as physical walks/Sniffari adventures and I have personal pups to keeps your busy! I have the ability to crate and even do drop bys at your house if needed.

About: I have been a dog and cat owner/lover/advocate my whole life. I miss having my own pets so much so I pet sit during our travels and while we are home too! I’m a massage therapist and energy worker so animals LOVE my touch and calming presence. I’m very active and love long walks. I’m totally comfortable with large dogs. I have retired early so my schedule is very flexible. I am happy to travel to pet sits. I tend to do pet sitting in Florida during the months of January and February. I love having dogs and cats in my home. There is a little river behind my house and the national forest and Sherando Lake Recreation Area is just beyond the river so there’s lots of space for long walks. Pets will get lots of loving care, tons of cuddles, and undivided attention while under my care and I will walk for as long and far as your dog (or cat) wants to.

About: I’ve watched chickens, goats, horses, dogs ,cats,and so many more! I love watching the fur babies and plus I send pictures and updates to there mom and dads while they are away! I work part time at Subway and trying start my pet care business up more and I can watch your babies most of the days! I can crate your babies. I also can come to your house. About: I am a fur mommy to an amazing little guy we call Charlie Brown! He is wonderful with adults and children alike! We would love to find him some new friends by watching your cute fur babies too! In my house, someone is always home, so your pet would never be alone! We love to go on long walks through the neighborhood and the local park. Our Charlie Brown loves car rides! My husband is great with animals and loves to play with them! We also have a 4 year old girl who is learning to play with our dogs as well and a full of life 7 year old boy who loves animals, so playtime is all the time here! There is never a dull moment, that's for sure! If you aren't comfortable with your pet coming to our house, that's ok too! I (we) can come to you! I'm a trustworthy, respectful, playful dogsitter as well. Transportation is not an issue. I can stay over night or just check in from time to time with your little one. It's all up to you! About: I've always had dog(s) in my household since I was a little boy. I've seen them all, hyper dogs, lazy dogs, mean dogs, social dogs, and dogs that think that they're human. In my experience in dealing with all of these personalities I've noticed one trait that is essential in dog-care, patience. Patience is something that I have no shortage of, I've seen it all. Trust me, I've seen the nitty, the gritty, and the nasty...nothing can scare me away. About: I absolutely love animals and have had them through out my entire life. I have experience from working at “Dogtopia” to “Home away from home, dog boarding”. I understand the importance of family and would love to be your dogs next best friend! I have experience providing care for a variety of animals, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring health. I am familiar with cleaning and sanitizing animal housing and equipment, and can recognize signs of illness or distress. By feeding, walks, and playtime—with my personal habits like breakfast, exercise, and evening relaxation it helps to create a consistent, healthy routine. My successful routine with my 12 year old senior terrier includes early morning engagement to set a positive tone, scheduled midday breaks or mental stimulation to combat boredom, and structured evening bonding that eases stress. I have a 12 year old friendly Emotional support animal named Flower, who still loves to run and play. I also live close to the park, and have a crate if needed.

About: I’ve been in a constant home of taking care of animals from a young age. I’ve trained over 6 dogs for basic training and have homed three cats. I’m versatile when it comes to new puppies as well as senior dogs. I’m a part time student so I’m mostly free in the evenings on weekdays and the weekends. For stop-bys and walks, I’m also free anytime before 9 am. In my own home I’ve got a lot of land for my own pets to roam within our land boundaries. Walking is a big part of giving pets time for exercise as well as calmer inside moments along with breakfast and dinner. Taking animals on rides to introduce them to different aspects of our world (exposure- therapy).

About: Hello! I have been dog sitting on Rover for a few years now and I absolutely love it. Some facts about me are that I’m active in my church, love exploring, being in nature, and drinking coffee with friends! I grew up owning dogs and I love them! I have experience in dog sitting overnight and taking them on walks. I am a timely person who will be careful to remember your specific needs and instructions in taking care of your dog. I have experience in staying alert around other dogs and either making sure they will get along before approaching or crossing the street. I’m happy to take your dog for walks and potty breaks throughout the day, and most of all give your dog lots of love, cuddles and good company! I look forward to meeting you and getting to know you and your dog(s)! My work schedule is flexible and I’m not usually gone for longer than 3 to 4 hours. About: I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was 4 years old. I have had pets of my own, cared for neighbors pets, and pet sitting as well. I am currently not working and am self employed part time, so I will have plenty of time to care for and play with your dog and/or cat! I have a leash tied to our porch rails for any dogs that I watch, or go outside with them on the leash to make sure they are safe. They are safe and comfortable in the house with lots of spaces to relax and play in, 4 bedrooms total.

About: I have grown up with my family’s Golden Retriever. My husband and I also have a Golden Retriever. I have also fostered and taken care of a few dogs from the SPCA to give them a break from the shelter. I have helped watch friends and family dogs while they are away. My husband and I am available all throughout the week to give your dog all the attention it needs. My husband works from home so your dog will have company throughout the day. We have a fenced in yard that we can let your dog out to run around with our Golden Retriever. We will also take them on nice walks around our neighborhood and on the trail by our house. My husband and I live in a house in a neighborhood where we can take them on long walks throughout the day. I have a 2 year old golden retriever. We have lots of room for them to run around and toys for them to play with. We have a fenced in back yard for them to run around in as well.

About: I love animals every one of them. It's very therapeutic to me. I don't have all of the experience as most people who are on here, however I'm very patient with animals I have grown up with animals my entire life and I've always enjoyed the responsibility of taking care of a pet. I go above and beyond for any animal,(including wildlife) every animal deserves dignity, especially when they are apart of a family. I am very calm even when animals may be fretted or not sure. It's all about body language. I have a lab and I enjoy taking him hiking, bike riding, and sometimes just simply loving the cuddles and kisses while relaxing. Animals love me I don't know what it is about me but I enjoy giving the I currently am in college at Liberty University, but I’m online, which gives me a lot of availability to care for and love on others pets. I’m not an animal whisperer by any means, haha, however, I feel like it sometimes. Animals in general but dogs really have a special place in my heart they are just drawn to me and I’m drawn to them. I pay a lot of attention to their body language. I think that’s super important. I am a jogger and love to be outside and stimulation for a dog is super essential in pet care and I always make sure that I’m not only giving tons of kisses and love while their hoomans are gone but ensure they are thriving and they feel safe and comfortable with me. It’s my only goal. They are amazing animals and while kennels aren’t a a terrible option, I find it more comforting to the animal to be in their own home.

About: I have two small dogs who are my world. I love all types of pets, but can make room in my schedule and heart to take care of your dogs and cats. I will board dogs, but can only stop in and check on your cats. I am currently retired and only work some part-time jobs. I am pretty flexible and will work with families to take care of your precious pets. I have a large farm and home and will crate your dogs as needed. They will love the open space for walks and play. I will keep all pets separated for a more stress-free experience.
