“Casey did a wonderful job with our 2 pups. She was thorough in her care for them and send us a couple photos and an update every evening which was so welcomed. It was our first time leaving our pups with someone we didn’t know, but Casey helped us be right at ease and we got to enjoy our vacation knowing they were in great care. Her kiddos left us some really sweet notes in their go-bag as well, which was delightful to read when we got home and unpacked.”

“Sophia was amazing! She was very flexible about drop off and a last-minute booking with only a few days notice. She sent daily pictures and our pup was loved to pieces and had very attentive care. We have used several Rover sitters with positive experiences and Sophia will definitely be our new go-to!!”

“Kathryn was a WONDERFUL pet sitter for our little English bulldog, Daisy. She kept in touch with us and sent updates. We could tell Daisy really enjoyed her stay! Thank you, Kathryn!!!”

“Deb and Ralph do an excellent job. This is our boys second stay with them. He’s a high energy lab. They make him feel right at home and gives us peace of mind being away from him. They communicate with us as needed and are quick to reply to texts. I’d recommend them for your dog watching needs.”

“Amy did an amazing job taking care of our Luna! She did a great job communicating updates with plenty of pictures and videos. Luna got to go on hikes and became best friends with Amy’s sweet dog, Sylvie too! Amy had great attention to detail- Luna is a poodle so we always pack a brush in case it’s needed, but have no specific expectations with it, since it’s definitely labor of love! Amy is the first Rover sitter to actually brush her! We would highly recommend Amy to anyone looking to board their pup!”

“Basil was great with our 10 month old puppy! Very attentive and caring, and communicated with us when our dog seemed to not be doing well. Our dog returned home happy and healthy. We would definitely recommend Basil for pet sitting.”

“Hillary has watched our dog three times and we’ve had wonderful experiences with each visit. I can tell that she has gotten to know our dog well and truly cares for her. Hillary communicates regularly with updates and photos that we really enjoy. I feel very comfortable when my dog is with Hillary and her family because I know she is safe and receiving a lot of love.”

“Eman was excellent! She has excellent skills with dogs and sent us pictures throughout the day of our baby! He slept well and had fun on their farm on nature walks! This is Kings first time ever staying with anyone other than family, Eman was just like family and we appreciate her!”

“Brenda did a fantastic job keeping our 'baby' safe and happy! She kept us supplied with pictures showing Ezzie enjoying her surroundings and new friends. We would recommend Brenda for everyone wanting to go on vacation knowing that their animal is going to have as good of a time (probably better!) than they do in a caring, safe environment.”

“Our mini golden retriever stayed an overnight with Kari and her sweet family. Cookie was embraced and became part of the family. She received great care and was very comfortable Cookie gave this dog airbnb a 5 star review. Thanks to Kari and her family. We hope to return again soon.”

“If I could give six stars, I would. My pup stayed with Hillary and family for 5 days and I have never had a less stressful boarding experience. Hillary let my pup have time to get used to the property and meet the family before I left. She made space for my dog and her dog to eat separately. The farm and home are beautiful and well maintained. She sent pictures daily showing my pup out and about and enjoying fun experiences. I think my pup thought she was at some farm resort for dogs. Will call Hillary first anytime I need a place for my pup to be safe and happy when I travel.”

“Alexandra and Logan were wonderful with my (sometimes overly) curious terrier, Eddie! I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”

“Alliyah is simply amazing. When I first reached out to her on Rover to see if she was available she replied with a ton of information. All the stuff I would have asked her, but she was right up front with everything. She explained her home life, her own pets, and how she was going to incorporate our pup into the mix. After a few messages and us both providing additional information, I just felt really comfortable selecting her to watch Reid. Drop-off and pick-up were very smooth processes. This was the longest we have boarded Reid, 10 days and he did really well and I attribute that to Alliyah and the environment he was in. We got updates and pictures and she was very responsive when I reached out to check on Reid. Definitely, the best boarding experience we have had. I 1000% recommend Alliyah for boarding and we will use her again.”

“Merry was such a great pet sitter ! It was my 1 st time using rover.com and i didn’t know what to exspect so I messaged a few peoeple and Merry was the 1 st to respond with in minutes. It was a last Minute trip. She was able to watch my German Shepard that same day I messaged her ! She was very caring and knowledgeable about dogs . My 1 1/2 year old German Shepard went right up to her with out any problems, he instantly felt the love ! Thankyou again Marry”

“Casey took very good care of Porky while we were out of town on our trip. She was accommodating to him and his needs. She updated us with pictures regularly and we felt great knowing he was being cared for a loved! Without a doubt Casey is our Go-To anytime we need someone trustworthy and attentive to watch our kitty Porky. Thanks Casey!”

“Eman is wonderful! It was obvious from the beginning how much love and care she has for our fur baby! And our Cookie loved her immediately! I highly recommend Eman and will definitely be using her services again!”

“I was worried about my cat since her brother had recently passed and I had to leave for a week. Tyler spent time with her to make sure she wasn't too lonely. It was very nice to not have to worry about her while I was away! Most cat sitters do not stay for the 30 min, but Tyler made sure she was well taken care of. :)”

“I was desperate to get a dog sitter when we were in town visiting with our daughter and Casey came through for us! The doggies loved her and she wore them out. :) highly recommend!”

“Crystal did a great job caring for our two dogs Max and Cody. She and her family obviously loved dogs and our two took to her immediately. Her place was great and the dogs were able to spend time outdoors. She gave us a worry free day. Highly recommended.”

“Our little terrier, Maxine, is always well taken care of at Amy’s. Amy goes out of her way to ensure each dogs safety and tends to their individual needs. We know that Maxine is happy and well taken care of whenever she is with Amy and her fur babies.”

About: Lifelong dog owner with decades of experience caring for dogs both big and small. I work from home and am able to provide constant care and plenty of exercise. Boarders or daycare get at least 3 walks/day, dozens of photos, and lots of love of course! I provide toys, bowls, a dog bed, treats, poop bags and a backup leash. A tired dog is a good dog :) feel free to bring your pet’s crate if you’d like! I grew up with border collies and labs, then rescued my own dogs in adulthood. One of my rescues was a very sick 3-month old puppy that I raised, so I am well-versed with puppy care. I do not currently have pets living in the home, so your dogs will have the run of the place! I own my own home on a quiet circle street. My yard is an expansive quarter acre of grass with access to miles of mowed walking paths off my backyard. When a visit starts, I like to take the dogs on a “Welcome Walk” to get acquainted in neutral outdoor space. I prioritize safety and clear communication (with owners and dogs!) to create a comfortable experience for all. I look forward to taking care of your wonderful pets! I work from home, so I am flexible for drop-ins, last-minute needs, or regular walks, and can give your dog consistent companionship…and some fun of course! Rain or shine, I am happy to take them out. I provide a treats (if allowed), a dog bed, bowls, toys and backup leash (but I prefer you bring the leash your dog is familiar with!). Please feel free to bring a crate if you’d like to crate your dog! When a visit starts, I like to take the dogs on “Welcome Walk” where we get acquainted in the great outdoors. This allows me to build our bond in neutral space with plenty of positive stimulation for the dogs. I prioritize safety and clear communication (with owners and dogs!) to create a comfortable experience for all. I have used the clicker training method in the past, and do not believe in any form of domineering or physical correction. Your dog will have a stable experience here!

About: I've always had dog(s) in my household since I was a little boy. I've seen them all, hyper dogs, lazy dogs, mean dogs, social dogs, and dogs that think that they're human. In my experience in dealing with all of these personalities I've noticed one trait that is essential in dog-care, patience. Patience is something that I have no shortage of, I've seen it all. Trust me, I've seen the nitty, the gritty, and the nasty...nothing can scare me away. In terms of my tangible experience, I've logged an immense amount of hours volunteering at animal shelters and pet-sitting for various friends and family. I'm a huge advocate for exercise and fitness for pets so if you leave your dog with me, I guarantee that we will be going on runs and playing outside. About: I love animals every one of them. It's very therapeutic to me. I don't have all of the experience as most people who are on here, however I'm very patient with animals I have grown up with animals my entire life and I've always enjoyed the responsibility of taking care of a pet. I go above and beyond for any animal,(including wildlife) every animal deserves dignity, especially when they are apart of a family. I am very calm even when animals may be fretted or not sure. It's all about body language. I have a lab and I enjoy taking him hiking, bike riding, and sometimes just simply loving the cuddles and kisses while relaxing. Animals love me I don't know what it is about me but I enjoy giving the I currently am in college at Liberty University, but I’m online, which gives me a lot of availability to care for and love on others pets. I’m not an animal whisperer by any means, haha, however, I feel like it sometimes. Animals in general but dogs really have a special place in my heart they are just drawn to me and I’m drawn to them. I pay a lot of attention to their body language. I think that’s super important. I am a jogger and love to be outside and stimulation for a dog is super essential in pet care and I always make sure that I’m not only giving tons of kisses and love while their hoomans are gone but ensure they are thriving and they feel safe and comfortable with me. It’s my only goal. They are amazing animals and while kennels aren’t a a terrible option, I find it more comforting to the animal to be in their own home.

I make sure that I am gentle and warm when first meeting pets, to build the rapport! I also ensure to implement how the owners take care of their pet, so it feels familiar!

About: I grow up in a farm and that gave me large experience taking care of all kind of animals, I have had different kind of dogs breed as owner and care giver. Right now I have a 2 acres property where the dogs can run and play all day long. Im at home full time so I can take care of your dogs necessities. I'm patient, I like to play with them, and I like to treat them as my own dog. I consider dogs, cats or any other animal, not only as pets, they are part of our families and deserve care, love and respect. I can provide comfort, exercises, play time, rest time and bath if necessary. I also accept puppies or seniors. I can take care of your furry babies as long as you need it.

“Gretchen was incredibly responsive, supportive, & communicative — especially for a last-minute request. If I’m in the area again and need a dog sitter, I will definitely reach out; the care from her community of neighbors was incredible! I particularly appreciated their transparency & consideration for Bugs’ needs.”

“Aquilla was great! I needed a last minute sitter for my cat for my graduation. She was awesome and easy to work with. Communication was great and always responded! Thank you so much!!”

“Joleen did a great job! We got lots of pics and updates while we were away. We felt very comfortable dropping off our dog in a very calming environment with a fenced back yard!”
