Hillary was so kind and her kids were very friendly. Daisy felt comfortable in their home right away. She had another puppy staying there over the weekend and her own dog Joshua. I was a little worried about how my puppy would do with other dogs and children, but seeing her play with them before I left was so comforting. Hillary has a background in puppy training and I could tell just by how she interacted with Daisy and the other pup. Hillary was great with communication and sent pictures every day! Daisy always looked happy and having a wonderful time! Most of the time, when I send Daisy somewhere, I feel sad knowing she’ll spend the majority of the time in a crate, but this was the complete opposite! About: I have cared for my family's pets my entire life. I worked in the pet care dept. at the Lynchburg Humane Society for about a year until it got in the way of school. I have been cat and dog sitting for people around my neighborhood for the past five years or so. About: I’ve had a dog my entire life except for a few very lonely months in 2020 after I lost the love of my life, Romey, the naughtiest lab with the best sense of humor. I grew up with labs (mostly ) but now have Gizmo, a labrodoodle , who will soon become BDE (best dog ever) if he can finally learn how to not jump like a kangaroo when he sees his dog friends. I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was young. I’d walk, feed and love on my neighbors and friends pets. I hope I will be the one you call and who you can trust with your furry BFF. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priority. During walks, I keep dogs securely leashed at all times. Before our first visit, I like to learn about any triggers, behaviors, or how they do with other dogs so I can tailor care to keep them calm and comfortable. I also check with you before giving treats and make sure I'm aware of any allergies or dietary restrictions. Most visits will take place in your home for your pet's comfort. However, if you ever prefer occasional care at my home, I have a fenced-in backyard and a Jeep for safe transport. You can always feel confident knowing your pet will be cared for with consistency, attention, and genuine love every time I'm with them.

About: I have loved dogs since I was a kid. I mainly have experience with smaller breeds such as Maltese, Shih tzu. I also have experience with labs. I will be home daily so lots of cuddle and play time. My yard is not fenced but we do live out in the country and have a big yard. I do have 3 children one who is in school and a three year old and one year old. I am currently a stay at home mom So I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. About: I grew up in the country taking care of dogs, horses, cows, a pig, a lamb, bunnies and probably more that I can't think of! After years of service in the military where having a dog is difficult so I didn't have one, I finally got a corgi last year. His name is Gnocchi he's over a year old. I also got Luna, she's an Austrailian Shepard puppy and she is 6 months old. I recently had a 6 foot fence installed so my dogs can run free! They love other dogs to play with. I am comfortable with senior dogs, puppies and dogs who might need medication as well. I'm currently not working but I am looking for a remote position so being home while my kids are at school is my normal routine! I have a 6 ft fenced yard with an undercover area that is also fenced. I plan on getting some dog houses for that undercover area so they have a warm place to snuggle or they can come inside as well when it gets really cold or really hot!

I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”

I am extremely particular about who watches our fur baby - one, because I adore him, care deeply about his safety, and do not like leaving him; and two, because we have had more than one bad experience in the past. Marketa and Jay were patient and understanding, answered questions, addressed my concerns, and helped allay my fears and worries. And the ongoing communication was greatly appreciated. I felt they were honest and trustworthy, which was a great relief to me as well, as I felt our fur baby was safe in their care.”
