About: I have never been without a pet or multiple pets, mostly cats and dogs. I believe Pets are family members. I have cared for pets ages birth to 17 years old since childhood. I have two dogs of my own and one granddog I work from my phone/computer full-time scheduling clients. I am able to care for Pets in my home or yours around the clock. I also have the freedom to come and go as needed for pet walking and/or potty breaks. I live in a safe neighborhood with a decent sized yard. I never let Pets go out without being on a leash or tie out. I have a small, older Westie and a 2 year old mini golden doodle that love other animals.

About: This is from a few years ago now, but everything still applies! I’ve been doing Rover for about 6 years, and watching people’s pets for over 10 years now. Hey there! My name is Abby, I am 30-years young and I absolutely adore all animals!!! My father is a self- proclaimed dog whisperer that is amazing with pets, and he taught me how to safely and successfully interact with dogs at a young age. Since I was a wee one, I have always had a natural ability with pets; they generally tend to be fond of me, dogs especially. I have had ample practice and training, with a wide variety of dogs over that past few years. I have been watching pets for eight years now! From the ages 22 -26, I worked at a school for at-risk girls. There all the faculty members seemed to have pets, and take all these trips! No one there had a reliable pet-sitter, for when they were out of town, so those families were forced to board their pets. So I’m talking to the school nurse one day, she’s newly single & has finished plans to start traveling the world. But she owns Harley, the yellow lab, who has recently aged immensely and is no longer well when boarded anymore. And There I was waiting & beyond ready to start my side-business as a dog-sitter. Harley, became my first client and more so my buddy, I watched him for 1 to 2 week periods, frequently, over the next 3 years. Then, the other staff members began to use my services, also. I had around 5-6 dogs that I would take care of on a regular basis. Whether that meant staying with them at their house, walking them multiple times a day, playing, and anything else that needed to be done! I currently work PRN as a CNA, which means I pick up shifts when I want to work. This allows me to be able to work around that schedule easily. I care for pets as if they were my own fur baby. I follow common safety practices while caring for animals- keeping them on leash, avoiding other pets during walks, etc. I am extremely vigilant of my surroundings at all times and try to prevent anything bad from happening by using my intuition and common sense.

About: Hi y’all! I took a short break from accepting new clients to save room for my wonderful clientele base that Rover has allowed me to build but I am reopening my books! I have taken care of every kind of pet from puppies, cats, lizards, birds, horses, even raccoons. There’s no job too unique! I live minutes from a park and walking distance to a walking trail. I do have my own dog that is my whole world so I no longer do overnight stays. Take a peak at my reviews as I know finding a sitter can be stressful! Message me with any questions and hope to meet you and your furry (or feathery, or scaly, etc) loved one soon! I absolutely love going on walks at Willow Springs or on the Tweetsie Trail! I enjoy hiking, running, and playing fetch as well. I have a part time job but the shifts are fairly short so I can work with almost any schedule. I currently don’t offer overnight stays unless noted otherwise. I’m very fortunate to have my own dog who is my very best friend and I hate to leave her! About: I am currently a part time Massage Therapist, but during school, my full time job was at a dog daycare in Scottsdale, so I got to work with dogs on a regular basis! Nowadays, I take my little sidekick Beetlejuice with me almost everywhere. I firmly believe that our pets always improve our quality of life. They've most definitely always improved mine. After growing up on a farm full of animals, homes without furry companions seem to be lacking something to me. I think everyone should be able to have pet-friend, (or a few of them!) and shouldn't need to worry about needing a little extra help with giving them the best care possible. I have lots of availability to help out with walks, feeding, or just a hearty belly rub, if that's what you need! I am also comfortable with medically fragile pets, as I have personal experience with them. My sweet dog Majik, who I sadly a couple years ago, had Addison's disease. So, I have no problem giving any medications, if need be. I have quite the soft spot for the older pooches, also! I'm currently in an online class and only work occasionally, so I have a lot of free time to devote to your pets. I love to go on drives and hikes around the area, and I'm always happy to have another sidekick! I have a fenced yard and a big comfy couch. Beetlejuice, my dog, is obsessed with toys, so we have a ton of those as well. Bernie isn't much of a player, but he is a masterful napper.

About: Leaving your loved ones that cannot talk and describe their experience is scary sometimes. You want to be able to trust that they are in good hands with someone who will abide by your training, rules, and care as well as someone who will love them, show them as much attention as possible (especially important since their Person is away), and pay attention to their cues. I have been around cats and dogs my entire life, and love them more than most of the human race if we are being honest. I take pride in making new cat and dog friends wherever I go, and I can't wait to become friends with your best friend! While I love dogs and will enjoy caring for and playing with them, I am particularly drawn to cats. I have experience with both (but yes, primarily cats) since early childhood, and know how to read their body language and gradually warm up to them and build their trust. I truly enjoy the play and attention aspect that is needed when pet caregiving, and while no one enjoys cleaning a litter box or being a pooper scooper, it's something that is worth the reward of their company. I am usually home, with only things like taking my family to their job, school, and sitter as well as store runs taking up my time. I do gig work such as this and shopping/errands/delivery so I won't be away from the pet care job much if a boarding situation, and not for long increments when I am. Safety is key, I check exits before exiting, I will not leave two animals alone together that previously haven't been alone together nor will I leave them alone with kids, mine or any others. I will follow the owner's wishes as to not compromise their pet's routine or anything that could risk their health or wellbeing.

About: With the proper instructions, I can and will do anything to give your pet the care he/she needs. I have no problem administering medications of any kind. My wife and I have a yard with sections fenced and not fenced, so I can take dogs out on a leash to relieve themselves, or let them out to run and play. There is also a picnic area near my house with a paved walking trail for walks. I have had and cared for dogs my entire life. Growing up we mainly had large dogs, but I have also cared for small and medium dogs through family. I am comfortable caring for any size dog with any set of needs! I am currently a stay-at-home husband, so I am home all day, every day. My wife works during the day and is home in the evenings and on weekends. Whatever I do during the day will revolve around the care i am currently giving. My wife and I have a home with a fenced backyard. We also have parts of the yard that aren't fenced. We have about 1.5 acres, so I can walk your pet around the yard on a leash or let him/her roam around the fenced in area. I can play with your pet however he/she likes. We can also go to the paved walking path about 5 minutes away. We have 2 medium sized herding dogs that love to play with other dogs. If your dog isn't able or doesnt want to play, no problem! They have experience with small, large, young, and elderly dogs and know how to interact with any needs and temperament. We also have 2 cats that may sniff your dog, but will otherwise do their own things. They have also interacted with different types of dogs and know what to do. Both of our families also love animals so if anyone comes by, it'll just be more love for the fur babies! There is also a veterinarian about 15 minutes away just in case. We are super flexible. I am a stay at home dad and my wife will be working from home in October. We can be accommodating to your needs! We have a fenced in yard which includes a deck and quite a bit of running space. Our dogs love to run up and down the hill, but also like to sun bathe on the porch.

About: Hi There! My name is Bethany. I love all animals and have one beautiful dog, Mr. Bojangles and four cats that think they are dogs! I have a fenced in yard and work remotely. I work remotely and my work schedule is very flexible. My office looks out into the fenced back yard so I can easily keep an eye on any visiting furry friends all day long. We go on daily walks and let the dogs roam around the fenced in yard. They can come inside through a dog door and are allowed on the couch and beds for snuggles.

About: I’ve taken care of/had animals since I was a kid which includes dogs, cats, goats and chickens. I have my own energetic, sweet 2 year old Aussiedoodle who I treat just like a family member! I am currently a medical student so most of my availability is after 5pm and weekends. I do have some weeks off, of which, I’m available all day! Having my own dog who loves tons of walks a day, I know how important it is to make your dog feel comfortable and confident in their walker. This is also the best way to keep your pet safe. I genuinely care for every animal as I would my own because I know our animals are our babies.
