About: I have provided care for many pets from my former teachers, neighbors, family and word of mouth. Both my pets have lived to be seniors and watched senior pets as well. I worked at an animal hospital for about 2 years before moving to this area. I am familiar with giving medications and following instructions on feeding due to allergies and stomach concerns in dogs. I am experienced with reactive dogs and protective dogs when entering the home. I am mostly able to do daily check ins in morning-midday. My work schedule varies, so just ask I can try to work something out! I will meet or chat with you prior to meeting your pup or cat and learn there favorite snacks, toys and walk routes. I want then to be comfortable with me.

About: Experienced dog lover with years of caring for all breeds—dedicated to keeping pups happy, healthy, and loved. I am willing to take of all of your pets needs. From bathing to feeding and walking I can do it all. I am currently in my 4th year of medical school. I plan to apply to residency this year. Given that it is my fourth year I have plenty of free time and I would love to spend it with your pet. I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment tailored to each pet's needs—whether in my home or the client’s. I follow their routine, offer plenty of playtime, walks, feeding, and cuddles, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away!

About: New to Rover, but not to pet care :) I grew up with animals great and small. I've had dogs of all sizes, cats, horses, snakes, mice, chickens, and one skunk. All of my dogs are rescues, so I'm no stranger to reactive dog care and I'm well-versed in positive reinforcement training styles. I love all animals, but I've got a real soft spot for the senior babies. I recently lost my own 16 year old pittie, so I'm comfy in a space that may require a little extra effort. I'm a weightlifter in my free time, so I can easily help any size senior with any mobility issues 💜 I'm starting on Rover after losing my 13 year career in analysis to federal funding issues. My schedule is quite flexible and free, though I do have to be home at night to care for my own four-legged family members While I'd love to offer care in my home, I do have my own pets and introducing new babies to the mix can be stressful for all involved. In your home, I will love on your fur babies as if they were my own. They'll have a cuddle buddy (if they choose), engaging playtime, and treats (if you choose). I also spend quite a lot of time at the gym I own in downtown Charlottesville, so if you'd be comfortable with field trips, I'd happily take them out for some extra socialization.

About: I grew up taking care of our pets, taking care of family/friends pets. I have had a senior dog five years and counting. I have had a German Shepherd two years and counting. I'm currently working part time. So, I have some flexibility and plenty of time to love on your fur baby! My schedule is an usual of Mon, Wed, and Thurs being available after 2PM. Tuesdays I will be available anytime. Weekends will vary but we would love some extra company while we are at home. I have a fenced in backyard where the babes can free run. I have two dogs to keep your fur baby company. We love to go on walks around the neighborhood or at our property. We love to snuggle on the couch. We also have a crate if necessary for any dog size.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets over the years. Neighbors, family, and friends have relied on me to feed, walk, and bathe their pets. I’m currently working part-time, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday after 11am. I volunteer at a local animal shelter and run my own 501c3 rescue through delegating foster homes and managing adoption events etc, I currently own cats, dogs, and small pets. I have experience with behavior issues and animals with disabilities too. My home set up is where I am able to allow multiple rooms for any animal(s) needing boarded that need separated from other animals as well. Id love to be able to provide care towards any dog. About: In a home with lizards, fish, a cat, a dog, and a flock of chickens, I spend my days tending to the heard. Animals all with their own unique personalities and each requiring different levels of care. Feeding, Bathing, Grooming, Spoiling with TLC, I do it all! I am a new mom and spend my days at home so I have a lot of free time to pop over and care for animals as needed At my house the dog and cat are indoor/outdoor pets who come and go when the please, as the door is usually wide open! Because of this I usually opt. to care for pets in the comfort of their own homes and abide by the routines they are adapt to.

About: I have had pets from day one. My family has had 4 cats, 2 dogs, hamsters, lizards, fish, and even a hedgehog!. I’m currently a Nursing student who’s past career was a veterinary technician.
