Our dogs are medium sized but very sensitive and don’t fair well in kennels with a lot of loud barking, hard floors, and little human contact. Our youngest gets separation anxiety and jumps fences. This was such a relief, especially since we’ve had a bad experience with a previous sitter who never sent updates. “Meeting Maureen was a joy. She was very thorough with gathering information about Attie -- things I never would have thought to ask/tell. You can tell how much she wants to make sure our sweet Attie is taken care of and right at home. Attie is shy, deaf and partially blind. She knows my son and I by shape and smell -- tends to stick with us. She felt comfortable enough to roam Maureen's yard and even came to her after a short period of time. Their farm is perfect for allowing her to run out energy and get used to a variety of animals - horses, chickens, etc. Honestly, we're jealous of the time she gets to spend there! Ben and Alexa clearly love her as much as we do, and treat her like family. They send lots of photos so I always know what she's up to. She comes home completely exhausted :) We'll absolutely continue to book stays with them and highly recommend them for anyone else looking for wonderful, caring sitters!”
