“Briley was a very good listener which was important to me since I've got an elderly cat. She was friendly and easy to talk to, prompt with care and I appreciated her level of communication. Thank you Briley, we will rebook for sure!”

“Regan is amazing! Her ability to connect with even our most skittish cat was great and she was very attentive to details. Would trust her with any of our babies. Thank you!”

About: I always insure that pets are comfortable! I’ve taken care of old cats and dogs, and I when they are old like that it’s important to meet their needs first, as most of the time they need a lot of guidance and help. I am currently going into online college, so most of my day is free! I often sit down and watch TV or play video games, but I mostly enjoy writing and drawing in my free time I personally like to ask owners how there pets are in the company of others, as well as if any weather bugs them! The comfort of my pets, and owners is always my number 1 priority! I want to make sure that they are comfortable around me, and I never approach any animal until I’ve let them sniff me, it’s important that they trust me to be around them.
About: I grew up on a farm, so I’ve always had animals/pets in my life. I’ve owned everything from small dogs to big dogs and cats. I’m a teacher so all pet care will have to be in the evening after school. I typically will finish the school day at 3:30. I own two cats and provide them with safe home environment with plenty of enrichment. I will make sure that your pet is well taken care of and they’ll have a fun time too.
“Olivia went above and beyond for our two pets, even making an extra visit a couple of times to make sure they were okay. I highly recommend her. She treats your pets like her own.”

“Rebecca is first class! She’s the only sitter my anti-social kitty warmed up to, ever. She took excellent care of my boy, which made me very happy and able to enjoy my vacation. I have had other sitters, but Rebecca is definitely the best!”

About: Hi! 🐾 I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, crested geckos, bearded dragons, and iguanas! I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities and routines, and I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own. Expect lots of love, attention, playtime, and photo updates while you’re away! 🤍🐶🐱🦎 I currently have a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of availability to provide your pets with the attention and care they deserve! 🐾 I’m available for drop-in visits, walks, feeding, playtime, litter box care, and plenty of cuddles. I’m happy to work with your pet’s normal routine and schedule so they can stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible while you’re away. 🤍 Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. 🐾 I’ll carefully follow any instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, routines, medications, and household rules. I understand that every pet has different boundaries and personalities, so I’m patient and will always allow them to warm up to me at their own pace. I’ll treat your pets, home, and belongings with the same care and respect I would want someone to show my own. You can also expect regular photos and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away! 🤍
“Our shy kitties loved their visits from Gaby, she made sure they were well loved, fed and taken care of while we were away, which we are so appreciative of! They were in great hands!”

About: I’ve been the go to pet sitter for family members and friends. Whether it’s keeping them company for a couple hours to just stopping by to let them out and check their food/water to watching them for multiple days. I work full time and don’t have the ability to work from home. On weekdays after 5pm I’m free to hang out with your pups! During the weekend I have more flexibility to watch or check on your pets. I don’t have any pets and currently live in an apartment complex. There is a lot of open grass space around my apartment complex and is in a good area to walk in. If you prefer your pup be in a crate if I have to leave that will need to be provided, but as long as they are house trained I have no problem with your dog free-roaming my apartment.
About: We have been pet owners all our lives until recently. We have experience looking after dogs and cats. We would love to fill the gap by helping you out with pet sitting needs. Your fur baby will be treated as part of our family! My husband and I work full time, some days from home. My work is just few minutes away so I am able do potty breaks and walk during lunch. Our schedules are flexible and we can adapt to your needs. We currently don't have any pets at the house. Our yard is not fenced but the neighborhood is very dog friendly with a little nature trail for walks.
About: I have taken care of animals of many shapes and sizes throughout my life, from large dogs to kittens. I also have volunteer experience at KC Pet Project. I actively take care of cats and dogs of my own most days of the week around school and work, as well as maintaining other hobbies. Being able to help others with their pets is very fulfilling to me! I have experience feeding, brushing, walking, and training animals. In my clients home i would provide the upmost care for their pet and their home.
About: I have loved animals since forever. I cannot recall a time in my adult life that I did not have a furry friend. I have a long history of animal rescue transportation and some fostering in-between transportation runs. I have been house sitting and dog watching for friends and family for several years and truly enjoy it! Unfortunately, I recently lost my sweet Lucy at the age of 14. (She is the first picture with her blue stuffie ☺️) She fought the good fight! However CHF, an enlarged heart and heavy seizure activity became too much for her aging body and the good lord came calling to help her cross on over the rainbow bridge where she can roam and run pain free again. So, I decided to offer my love of animals to others' companions instead of adopting again and went to work part time for the veterinarian that walked the walk with us. The love of an animal is unconditional and healing and within that, there is peace 💛 I currently work for a vet clinic and also as a massage therapist with full control of my schedule therefore have the ability to adjust my days as needed. I pride myself in working hard to keep your pets schedule as close to their normal routine as possible. I feel consistency is important for them when their humans are absent.

“We booked Erika for drop in visits while we were out of town for 10 days and could not have been more pleased. She stayed in touch by sending messages and pictures and I was able to enjoy our trip more knowing she was there taking care of things. She went above and beyond by getting our very shy dog Sherpa to become her friend. I highly recommend her to anyone wanting peace of mind while they are away.”

“We’ve used Skylar twice now and both times have been so awesome. She communicates clearly with the visits and takes great care of our dog and cats, two of who are very senior and require special medication and treatment. They love her and were comfortable with her even the super shy one! Highly recommend.”
“Wonderful!! Kayla and Taylor LOVE animals. They were so amazing. Excellent communication and attention to detail. Great pics sent at every check in. Do not hesitate to book them. Will definitely use them again.”

About: I currently own 2 cats (age 1 and 3) who are my two little babies! I’ve lived with/taken care of cats my whole life and also have experience with drop ins/walks for dogs! It’s important for me to make sure your own little babies are still given important care when you are away! As an owner of cats who need their own care from time to time, I understand the important of keeping their owner’s mind at peace while they are away. I treat other people’s pets as if they were my own! I want them to be treated with the same care I would want my own to be treated.

As of September 2026, there are 817 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Woodruff. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Woodruff. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
