I began my journey working with a cat rescue, where I helped maintain the facility and socialized shy or neglected cats to prepare them for adoption. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of animals from obedience training both reactive and well mannered dogs, to serving six years in K9 Search and Rescue. I’ve also rehabilitated sick and injured cats through my work with a nonprofit, helped raise a German Shepherd puppy, groomed Great Pyrenees and other long coated cats and dogs, and developed meaningful bonds with dogs that others might find challenging. I’m available seven days a week, with the exception of a standing meeting every Monday at 2 PM, which typically lasts no more than an hour. Outside of that, my schedule is fully open for pet care needs, whether that’s early morning feedings, midday walks, or evening companionship. I am a homeowner with a fully fenced backyard situated on a hill an ideal space for high energy dogs who enjoy extra exercise. For dogs that need more stimulation, I can safely take them outside the fenced area on a long lead for supervised play and hill runs. I also have access to both busy and also quiet dog parks with agility courses in them so i can tailor my care to your pets energy level. Our three story home includes a fully finished basement with a private living area and a spare room that has its own separate entrance, perfect for pets who may need space or a quieter environment. I share my home with a gentle, submissive dog who is friendly with other dogs and shows playful curiosity around cats. I also have two cats who are well socialized with both dogs and other cats. However, for everyone’s safety, all interactions between visiting pets and my own will be closely supervised and evaluated on an individual basis. Just as not all people naturally get along, even the friendliest pets may not be compatible and I believe in taking a cautious, respectful approach to every introduction.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for others since I was 15. From a Great Dane to a small Yorkie, your fur baby is in good hands. Or should I say, Good Paws. I’m off of school for the summer, so my days are mostly free. With that, pet sitting would be my main priority when I’m booked. About: I've been taking care of our dogs and cats for over 50 years. We've had as many as 5 dogs and 3 cats at one time, all Rescue-all sizes and temperaments and living in our house. I walk the dogs most mornings and play with them in our fenced in backyard. We both volunteered at a Cat Rescue in Nashville for over a year. Mostly handling 30-40 kittens with feeding, cleaning & watering, but also some adult cats and general cleaning of the facility. We've Adopted many "Rescue" dogs/cats over the years and have Fostered several dogs. In addition we've donated our time/money to many of these organizations. Nashville Pittie, Clk/Mont County Humane Society, Middle Tennessee German Shepherd Rescue, True Rescue in Nashville, etc. I love dogs and cats and hope to spend my free time with them! I'm retired, so I am available except for occasional appointments or activities. But, I can work around my schedule. My wife is also retired, and she will be help out when I'm not available. I am the Primary. Between each of us we can cover 24/7 needs. We've got a fenced in backyard for the dogs to Potty and Play in. I clean up after our dogs multiple times/day. We've also got an upstairs apartment with a separate entrance for Boarding. We've kept our Granddogs multiple times over the years and they needed to be separate from ours. I am able to spend time upstairs in the apartment and spend the night with them. If they get along with other dogs and want playmates we are happy to have them join our crew for either playtime or staying full time with us.

About: Starting at 15, I began petsitting for families in my neighborhood and continued until I moved away after college. During college, I was employed at PetSmart as a bather, so I am well trained in basic nail trims, sanitary trims, and expressing anal glands. Since early 2021, I have begun my professional career caring for wildlife in a rehabilitation facility as well as a zoo. Because of this professional training, I am able to administer medications that your pet may need as well as provide attention to important behaviors. I work full time Monday through Friday and would only be available for boarding on weekends. However, drop- ins and walks would be a possibility during week days after work.
