About: I was raised in a family of animal lovers and helped to care for at least one family pup at all times. From my grandma's cat filled house to my own dogs, I have always been surrounded by a variety of furry friends so I'm very comfortable and experienced with caring for them. I began pet-sitting for neighbors as soon as I got into high school, and I'm very excited to meet some new furry friends! As a second year student at the University of Virginia, I've got a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care! My classes are mostly in the mornings, so I'm available for dog-sitting in the afternoons and evenings. Weekends are completely free for me, which means I can provide consistent and attentive care for your furry friends, ensuring they get plenty of playtime, walks, and attention while you're away! Since I live in an apartment that doesn't allow animals, I don't offer in-home pet care services. Instead, I provide dedicated pet care at your convenience! About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and can’t imagine a home without them! From raising my own family pets to caring for dogs of all ages, whether it’s energetic puppies just weeks old or gentle seniors needing extra love. I bring years of experience and genuine care to every dog I meet. Over the past 8 years, I’ve had the joy of watching dogs for friends, neighbors, and family, and I treat every pup like they’re my own. I’m currently in grad school at UVA with classes only two days a week, and even then, they’re never longer than a few hours at a time. This means I’m available every day and can easily build pet care into my daily routine. Whether it’s morning walks, midday drop-ins, or overnight stays, I have the flexibility to provide consistent and attentive care. I care for pets by giving them lots of attention, love, and activity. Whether I’m in my home or the client’s, I make sure pets get plenty of time to play, go on walks, or just hang out and relax depending on what they need. I try to stick to their normal routine as much as possible, like feeding times and bathroom breaks, and I always make sure they feel safe and comfortable. Staying active with them through walks, fetch, or just playing around, is one of the main ways I show care and build trust.

About: I have provided care for many pets from my former teachers, neighbors, family and word of mouth. Both my pets have lived to be seniors and watched senior pets as well. I worked at an animal hospital for about 2 years before moving to this area. I am familiar with giving medications and following instructions on feeding due to allergies and stomach concerns in dogs. I am experienced with reactive dogs and protective dogs when entering the home. I am mostly able to do daily check ins in morning-midday. My work schedule varies, so just ask I can try to work something out! I will meet or chat with you prior to meeting your pup or cat and learn there favorite snacks, toys and walk routes. I want then to be comfortable with me.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, from small breeds to large, so I’m comfortable caring for pups of all sizes and personalities. I currently have an 11-month-old black Lab that I adopted from the Charlottesville SPCA, and together we’ve completed puppy training and loose-leash walking. My experience with training, combined with my lifelong love for dogs, means I’m patient, attentive, and ready to meet your pet’s needs. I have a flexible schedule, so I can easily work around your routine to provide reliable, personalized care for your pup! I’m currently working part time, so I have lots of extra time in my schedule to give your pup the love and attention they need! Again, my work schedule is pretty flexible, so I can find times throughout the day/week/weekend that work the best for you! In my home I have an extremely friendly and energetic 11 month old black lab, who would love to be your dog’s play mate. I also have a size large crate available if that is something your dog requires. Normally, my dog and I go out for 3 or 4 30ish minute walks a day, accompanied by lots of fetch and tug, and on weekends love going on longer hikes!

About: Animal care is my career, not my hobby or source of extra income. I have experience house-sitting and providing in-home care for pets as well as experience working in shelters, kennels, and boarding facilities. I am experienced with medication administration including injectable medications. I am comfortable working with reactive cats and dogs. Please contact me about a free meet and greet in your home -- I would love to meet your pet! Pet care comes first always! My own pup goes out 3x per day so I generally like to be able to leave a dog alone for up to 2 hours so I can go home and let my pup out but my fiancee can usually help out and we might be able to make something work if you need me to be with your dog all the time. It would require a higher fee because I wouldn't be able to accept other bookings during that time. At this point in time I do not offer to care for pets in my home. All drop-in visits will take place at the client's home.

About: I've had dogs my whole life, 6 in total! I currently have a Great Dane/lab mix who is a rescue. We can walk or run your neighborhood or go to a park! We can play fetch in the yard on the nice days or play inside the house on days it's too hot or raining. I can give medicines that are routine or special occurances. I can clean up any accidents left behind so you come home to a clean house after your day at work or away. I can help with training to solidify any tricks or behaviors you're trying to accomplish with your dog! I'll be sure to show your fur baby the same level of love and attention as if they were my own! I work night shift, so I am used to weird hours if needed! I am a runner so I can take your dog with me if they need a little extra exercise! I will treat your dog like they are my own!
