“Christina was a great doggie daycare provider! This was the first time we have left our two Huskies mixes for any length of time with someone else. We were not sure how they would behave. The puppies were great there. In fact, I think they wanted to stay there more than come home! Christina has a big backyard that is fenced in for them to run and play with other dogs. Next time we plan on going away Christina will be or number one choice for watching our two. She really loves animals!”

About: I grew up on a farm and I was the one responsible for feeding, walking and the safety of the animals. Trained puppies of all breeds. I have previous vet assistant experience. I have experience with grooming long haired breeds and administering medicine. I check daily temps outside to make sure pets don’t get too hot on walks. I have experience in noticing signs of bloat and know how to intervene. I will always let you know the minute your pet seems a bit “off”. I lost both of my Golden Retrievers due to age and now I fill my home with helping others and their pets which shines light into my life! I am currently working but my work is really flexible with my schedule. If I pet sit your dog or cat, they come first always. I have a fenced in yard and a river walk near by for daily exercise. I am used to medicine routines for cats/dogs as well. My pets have always been on flea meds and UTD.

About: Hello! My name is haley and I recently graduated from the University of Florida! I am a puppy raiser and volunteer for the Guide Dog Foundation but I am taking a break during my gap year before law school after three years of training puppies into guide dogs for the blind! I love love love animals! I am excited to welcome your pets into my family! I have pet sit for many years in high school and in college! Looking forward to meeting u! My schedule is flexible and I am open to accommodating your schedule as much as I can! I work hybrid, so partially from home and partially in the office. About: I got my first baby when I was around 9 years old. Pets are BKA best friends! I believe you get the love that you give when it comes to our pets! I’m extremely flexible! I welcome anyone needing flexibility or long-term set schedules! I am willing to work out something any day of the week Sunday to Saturday! I live in a great area to take daily walks. I have children who have more than enough love to go around to make any and all pets feel loved and welcome. I do a lot of traveling and love to pet sit in new cities! I care for pets depending on what the client prefers/ what their routine is. At home, I have children with plenty of love to go around.

About: As a big animal lover I’ve always sought ways to spend more time with them in whatever ways I could - be that pet-sitting for friends and family, helping to exercise friend’s dogs when they were busy, to volunteering for the last 12 years at a therapeutic horseback-riding facility. In that time I’ve dedicated to learning as much as I could about dogs, cats, and horses and how to care for and teach them so you can feel secure that your pet will be treated with the utmost kindness, respect, and love, with some dashes of training and fun mixed in. Need someone to care for your furry family member - look no further! I currently deliver packages for Amazon Flex and schedule my blocks day-of (usually only 2 hours or less before they start) so I’m always able to be available if need be. If in your home I can feed, water, walk, snuggle with, give medication, do basic training or exercise your dog and will do so in the most professional manner possible. If your dog is coming over to my home, I have a large, clear fenced in yard where my 11.5 month old Irish Setter has plenty of room to get her energy out daily so you can feel comfortable that your dogs would have ample space to wear themselves out and a super-friendly (and gentle) playmate to help in that endeavor. Afterwards I have a spare XL hard plastic crate if they need time and space to rest or if they are spending the night, along with plenty of fuzzy blankets and toys they can snuggle up with. Whatever it is your looking for, I’m happy to help make you and your dog’s lives happier, healthier and as stress-free as can be!

About: Regardless of the size, breed, or age of your pet, I can promise we will be best friends by the end of our visit! I have taken care of just about every type of dog, from corgi puppies to 10 year old boxer-pit bull mixes. I grew up with two yellow labs, and know how to treat your four legged friend as an extension of my own family. I also volunteer for Eyes, Ears, Nose, and Paws, a service dog training organization. From the 2 years I have assisted this program, I have gained experience in fostering dogs of all ages, dog walking, general care, taking dogs to appointments, and potty training. I am a part-time student at UNC Chapel Hill, and do not currently work. I have one 2 hour class Monday-Friday, other than that I will have ample time throughout the day to care for your dog! I will walk/exercise your dog whenever necessary, have a large and easily accessed grass area within a 2 minute walk of my apartment, and have no other pets that could interfere with my ability to care for your dog. If your dog is active, I will happily play with and entertain it, I can also simply keep it company and work on school work. Plus, I’ll send lots of photos!

“We were very pleased with the care our beagle received. Her back yard is fenced which allowed Spencer to be outside without a leash, which he loves. Will use her again, absolutely!”

About: Intuitive dog/cat mom, I will find a way to any canine heart. I grew up with dogs in our house and was taught to treat them no less than family members, having said that, I need to confess I am the worst person when it comes to disciplining a dog, but if you have some simple rules for your canine companion, I will follow them. My own puppy is seven years old and he is a spoiled little one, but is a gentle and sweet young fellow, his sister is a quiet long haired kitty. I love them both so much. I am an artist and a student at IUSB, but I have plenty of time between classes for long walks and other quality care your pets deserve. I live in a quiet neighborhood, overlooking a small pond, there is a fenced dog yard right outside my apartment building as well as many acres of green lawns to frolic upon.

About: I grew up with animals- my dad raised and bred dogs professionally, and my brother and I helped by taking care of puppies. We also had our house dog and I had cats. Since then, I have raised many dogs, cats, and bunnies. Currently my husband and I live by ourselves and travel a lot so we do not have our own pets, but I miss having animals around and would enjoy helping take care of others’ pets. We have a calm, clean, and happy home. We love animals so much, we are both vegan as well. Your pet will be in the best care! I work from home primarily, sometimes teaching yoga classes in the public space. I also do massage nearby occasionally. My husband is home most of the time as well. We care for pets just as we would our own. We walk regularly and live near a large park and river walk. We are very well organized, and have also taken care of our many children throughout our lives!

About: Hi! I’m Kelsey and I have a super pet-friendly studio for me and your favorite pup(s) in East Village. When I’m taking care of your cat or dog, my priority will always be to stay in touch, and I will be sure to send updates and accompanying photos of your pets adventures. Similarly, I will be sure to always be available if you need me! Taking your pets for walks and cuddling with your pets are a few of my favorite things. I’ll be sure to follow the schedule to which we agree. I possess over 10 years of pet sitting experience, and looking forward to many more!! Longer stays (7+ days) preferred! ***I will be updating my scheduling regularly and will try to respond to messages in under 2-3 hours.*** I have a very large pet friendly studio and work from home during the day! Your pups will love to stay with me! I will take your pup for neighborhood adventures every day of the week! My studio has AC and I live in my studio full-time. When not working at a restaurant in the evenings, I will be with your pup 24/7. Longer stays preferred (7+ days).

Lourie C.
“Lourie is an amazing person because she is kind, loving, compassionate and caring. She loves animals, particularly dogs, and she is so good to them and with them. She fully embraces the Pet Parent mindset with her own dog. She spoils her rotten because that's her Baby. But, she is also very conscientious and responsible in wanting to raise her Baby to be a Good Girl and grow up to be a happy, healthy dog. Lourie would be an excellent choice to work for you and in tending to any doggie put into her care.”

“Emma is quite possibly the best pet-caregiver ever! She absolutely adores dogs and will love your fur-babies unconditionally. She volunteers with a service dog training organization, helping to house and watch dogs who will become future seeing-eye and service dogs. She has been trained for this program and knows how to adequately care for, transport, and deal with emergency pet situations. She is very active and loves going on runs, to the park, and playing outside - a dog's dream!”

Yuliya W.
“Some people are dog friendly other people are dog people. I've had dogs all of my adult life and I pride myself on being able to tell the difference. Julie Neva is a dog person dogs respond to her and she responds to them. Her Facebook posts are littered with pictures of her dog and it's rare to have a conversation with her that doesn't include a little conversation about our dogs much the same as most parents have updating each other about their children. I can only think of about a half a dozen people in my social network that I would feel comfortable looking after my dog without the lengthy ramp up and explanation that I would feel compelled to have with most people. Julie is one of them I highly recommend her for this kind of work.”

“Ever since I have known Kelsey, she has been surrounded by dogs, cats and horses. Her family volunteered in a non- kill animal shelter and they fostered both dogs and cats for her entire childhood and into her adult years. She is comfortable with many breeds and knowledgeable about animal behavior. She did 4-H dog obedience and received grand champion with one of the foster dogs she cared for. She also worked at a vet office helping with the kennels and during the office visits. She spent her entire life riding and caring for horses on the family's property. She spent 10 years showing horses. Her love for animals is evident when she spends time with them, and they seem to instantly warm up to her. I highly recommend Kelsey to care for your animals.”
