About: I have always loved dogs and had my own, but I started caring for other people’s dogs at around 13 years old. In early 2022, I started working at the doggy daycare/boarding facility I currently work at, and I am now a manager there. I am responsible for feeding, bathing, administering medication, playing with and cleaning up after dogs of all different breeds, temperaments, ages and sizes, and I couldn’t be more passionate about my job. I currently work full time (at a dog kennel), and my schedule is consistent but switches days every week. I know my schedule very far out in advance so it should be easy to work with! I have 2 dogs at home that are well trained but not very friendly with other dogs, so at home boarding does not work for me. However, at your home, I can work with whatever system you have going for your dogs already, whether that be a crate training system or something different. I have plenty of experience from my current job and can meet all the needs you and your furry friend need to be satisfied:)
About: I have been dog sitting on weekends for my sister and brother in law for almost a year, she is a 10 month old bernedoodle with lots of energy! I also love caring for senior dogs. I have cat sit for 2 of my neighbors’ multiple cats, and have 2 pups of my own - Romeo and Bambi - both toy poodles aged 4 and 6 years old. I helped train both of them when they were puppies, and they are very well-behaved and loved! I currently work part-time on weekdays in the afternoon, so besides that I would have plenty of time to care for your furry friends - either overnight or for just a few hours! I am free before 5 pm Monday - Friday and after 9 pm, and I am available all day Saturday. I am usually busy Sundays, but can sometimes find time for it if you need full weekend care, so don’t hesitate to ask! I am very thorough and flexible with following any specific instructions you might have for caring for pets in your home. I have experience with crated dogs and free roam pets, so anything you need, I can do!
About: I have worked at a dog boarding kennel/shelter for over two years where I have gained a huge amount of skills and experience caring for dogs. On a daily basis I walk, feed, medicate, bathe, clean up after, and cuddle with dogs of every size and temperament. “Vanessa did house sitting for five nights watching our 13 year old dog who is deaf, partially blind and has pretty bad arthritis. She did an excellent job! The best part is she kept in constant touch with us sending pictures (via text) of our dog in the morning, during the day and just before bed. This gave me great peace of mind since this was the first time she was watching our dog. Also my old dog doesn't normally eat very well when we are away but Vanessa was very successful getting him to eat. I was so impressed. Another surprise....when we came home she had washed the bed sheets and towel she had used and my house looked spotless. My dog had so much energy when we returned and seemed so calm and happy. What more can you ask for?”
