About: I've had a lot of experience watching dogs and cats for many family members and friends. I also have experience working at an animal shelter for many months. I'm confident in my abilities to handle any kind of temperament and create a comfortable environment for every pet! When I have done drop-in visits for pet sitting, I like to do up to three visits each day. Morning, early afternoon, and evening are the times I typically try to check in. With each visit, I follow their food schedule, take dogs for potty breaks (and/or check cat litter boxes), spend a good amount of time playing with each pet, and cleaning up before leaving. At a client's home, if there isn't a yard for their dog(s) and they need time outside, I typically map out a trail for walking/potty breaks. Before taking any action, I like to ask the owner's preference on their pets' comfortability in where they walk or spend their time.

I carve out time daily & weekly for client pups, whether it’s neighborhood strolls, park play dates, or home visits. I thrive on the structure & joy that dog care brings-it’s a welcome constant in my schedule. I plan my calendar around wagging tails & happy paws and wouldn’t have it any other way. Pet safety, comfort, & happiness are my top priorities-always. In my home pets are treated like family, with cozy spaces to relax, regular playtime, & routines to help them feel secure and loved. I maintain a clean, pet friendly environment and tailor each day to fit their individual needs. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I take the same attentive approach: following instructions closely, keeping schedules consistent, & making sure pets feel calm & cared for, even when their owner’s are away. For anxious pups, I bring extra patience & calm energy. I avoid overwhelming stimulation, offer gentle reassurance & give them time to adjust at their own pace. Whether it’s using their favorite toy, a scent from home, or simply sitting nearby, I focus on what makes them feel safe. I’ve found that a steady routine & lots of positive reinforcement go a long way in helping nervous dogs build trust and relax.

About: I have been a dog, cat, and rabbit parent for most of my life and I love animals. My beloved cat recently died and I am missing the love of a pet but I’m not ready to get another one at this time. I will take very good care of your fur baby. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, cats, and rabbits. I work 9-5 but can walk a dog during the day and my nights and weekends are mostly free to care for your pet. Any dog or cat is welcome! I have a two-level townhome with a balcony for outside enjoyment. I live in a semi-rural area so walks will include lots of trees and green areas.

About: With a background in biology, you must know that I am a lover of ALL animals and life! There hasn't been a moment in my life when a pet wasn't in the house. I've lived with dogs, cats, tropical fish, hedgehogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, and birds! When it comes to my friends and family, I'm often the first choice for caring for their pets, as they know I'll provide the same level of love and care that they do for their companions. I have the most experience with cats and dogs, including all ages, from kittens and puppies to elderly cats and dogs. Given that I'm a teacher and it's summer time, I can be available at any time that's most convenient or necessary for you! Need me to walk the dog during a long workday? Or perhaps you need someone to check in on the cat while you're out of town for the weekend? I'm here for you! I am quick to pick up on what your pet needs. If your pet is more on the timid side, I understand to be gentle and patient with them, but if they're higher energy, I'm more than willing to play with them or take them on a long walk until they're worn out!

About: I have been dog and cat sitting for over 10yrs. I usually stay at the owners house. Experienced with dogs with medical issues, and high anxiety. I have given medications and have done some training. I have done just overnight stays, but have also done 3month long stays. I am also a Hairstylist and Skin care specialist. I rent a chair at a salon and make my own schedule, so my hours are flexable. I enjoy spending time with pets, but just don't live in a place were I can have one. I am not married and have no children, so I am completely available and focused on your pet. I usually like to meet you and your pet/pets about 1week before the scheduled appointment, so I can get to know you, your pet and your pets routine, feeding times, walking, medications if needed, etc. This also helps the dog recognize me when I show up, when you aren't there.

About: I’ve been a pet owner my entire adult life. I grew up with dogs and raised three of my own. I was a foster parent for Secondhand Hounds before adopting two of my own rescues. I’ve also raised animal lovers and my daughter is currently attending Cornell to become a veterinarian. I’m an awesome photographer and you’ll likely come away from the experience with some great photos of your furry family member. I currently work full-time, until June, when I am retiring from owning a daycare. Until then, I’m available evenings and weekend. Starting in the summer, I will be wide open for extensive pet sitting. I have a fenced in yard for my dogs, but am familiar with invisible fence dog security and love long dog walks around the neighborhood.
