About: I have worked in a mixed animal clinic for 3 years. I have a degree in equine business with preVet qualifications. I have taken care of pets and livestock since I could walk. I have experience with the youngest to senior pets. I’m currently available before work and after work to check in on your pets! I’m used to all different kinds of animals as well as several different needs. My dog is fully crate, leash, off-leash, and car trained and loves to play. I can crate your dog and give it the best care and attention just like mine gets! I have petsitted for multiple friends and family while they’re out of town.

About: I am a woman in my late 50's, (a mom and a grandma) who has been taking care of "critters" of all types for over 20 years, between Texas, and my home state of Minnesota. I am respectful, honest, trustworthy and conscientious. You can rest assured that your pets and your home are left in very capable hands with me. I am basically available all the time since I am retired from my career field, in Nutrition, and do this full-time now. I have done pet sitting, on the side, even while working in my career field, as animals have always been my passion. I treat any home I sit in as I would my own, with respect and care. Currently, my hubby and I have a standard Dachshund, a shepherd mix, and 6 (outdoor) cats, who are all quite friendly. With the addition of goats in November, I am no longer boarding or Day Care, but am still able to provide pet/house/ranch sitting services. I always leave a place as nice, or nicer, than I found it. (Cleaning, weeding, watering, getting mail, garbage out, and else whatever needs doing.

Neighbors, friends, and family have always relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets, as well as provide plenty of love and attention. I also volunteer with the SMU feral cat community, helping feed, monitor, and care for stray cats on campus. My experience spans from puppies and kittens to senior pets, and I’m comfortable with all temperaments and sizes. Schedule: I’m currently working part time and have a flexible schedule that allows me plenty of time to care for cats throughout the day. I regularly help care for SMU’s feral cat community, so I’m used to feeding, socializing, and checking on cats at different times. I’m available for visits and drop ins most weekdays after 2 PM and weekends all day. I prioritize a safe, calm, and clean environment for every pet and always follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, and any specific care instructions. I make sure spaces are secure, remove hazards, and monitor pets for any changes in behavior. I currently have a puppy (a bichonpoo) and understand the importance of both love and structure. My motto is “life is too short let them sleep on the bed,” but I also believe discipline is key in shaping well behaved dogs. I’m happy to bring my puppy along for companionship if approved, but I always ask first since I respect that every pet and owner has different boundaries.

I work part time so I have plenty of extra time to spend with all the pets. I love being outside and going for walks and spending time with animals as much as I can.
