About: Hey there my name is Danielle, I have taken care of dogs of all ages ranging from puppies going through their first heat to senior dogs with lack of abilities. Growing up I had all sorts of pets in my home and enjoyed sitting and dog walking in my neighborhood. Also one of my first jobs was at a dog boarding and day care facility. I love all breeds of dogs and cats and just want to keep them happy and healthy and have a fun time. I am new to the area and do not have a set schedule yet. I am free during most week days during typical working hours. I love the outdoors so any chance to get some sunshine. I have a fenced backyard, and my dog is friendly. I do not leave dogs unattended outside because I want to be sure they won't try to escape the yard or dig holes. When in a client's home I am sure to read all instructions given prior to my drop in. About: I have always loved and cared for animals. My personal experience actually started with my first love Sancho- a rescue chi that taught me how to manage and care for a dog that had been abused and needed special attention. At the end of his life he dealt with congestive heart failure so was on several medications, and peanut butter was the only way he would take them. I also became proficient at administrating medications. Really hard to lose a pet but just makes you realize how much love they provide you. Thoughout the years I have cared for friends and family’s animals while they were out of town or housesat for them as well. My latest adventures have been with Trusted Housesitters, and the past 3 months I have been graced to travel far and wide taking care of people’s pets and homes while they were able to relax and travel themselves knowing I was keeping their house and pets safe and sound. My experience included spending time and caring for all different types of dogs and different personalities from bull terriers, mixed breeds, frenchies, sherpards down to tea cup poodles all sizes and breeds. The responsibilities included feeding, administering meds, exercising and caring for the owners pets while I was staying in their home. I truly found my passion in life caring and loving for pets. When I left the US Army in 2012, I started working with animal rescue organizations and it became a passion of mine. I will provide intensive home care to geriatric dogs with complex health needs, including cancer, seizures, tracheomalacia, and diabetes. I have experience with puppy training and caring for adult dogs of all sizes. I have also cared for cats, lizards, turtles, horses, and a variety of fish! My experience administering medication I'm comfortable administering oral and noninvasive medications, but not comfortable doing injections. When I'm caring for a pet I really enjoy their company, so spend most of the time hanging out with them or taking them places with me, if appropriate depending on the pet. If your pet has special needs like separation anxiety or a strict medication schedule, I plan my schedule around their care and comfort. I have a big, fully fenced back yard that is wonderful for sniffing around, playing fetch, watching birds and squirrels, and hanging out together when the weather's nice. In the house your pup is welcome to hang out wherever I am at the moment - kitchen, desk, bedroom. Sleeping arrangements will be per your instructions.

I work from home so will be able to spend a ton of time with your baby. We have a good size fenced in yard and we love taking walks. So there will be plenty of outside time. I do have 2 little girls- 7 and 2.5 years old. They have lots of experience with dogs and absolutely love them! So as long as your dog is good with kiddos we are great 😊 I work from home so have plenty of availability throughout the day. I have 2 young kiddos that are in daycare/elementary school. So other than dinner/bedtime and a few evening activities we’re around. We have a good size backyard with 8 ft fence. We can crate your fur baby if needed or we have baby/dog gates and could leave him/her in a larger space if preferred if we’re gone. During the day, your pup can hang in my office while I work if they prefer ☺️

I grew up with large and small dogs, cats, frogs, hamsters, and horses. I will care for your animals as I do my own! I was part time while I was in high school and worked during holiday breaks while at university. At the end of the summer, I will be graduating from Clemson and will be working as a manager at the facility I grew up working at!
