“Whitney treated Penny with care and kindness, and sent pictures throughout the day. Penny and her dogs got along and played well together. Whitney made Penny feel comfortable and we will be utilizing her services in the future when we go out of town.”

“We were so relieved our whole trip leaving our two large babies with Talhia. They’re high energy and she made sure they walked and even went for runs outside. I had so many picture updates throughout the day so I was always happy knowing they looked comfortable. She even bought us a small bag of food cause I under-calc how much food to send. Definitely enjoyed having her watch our babies, will def be using her again!”

“Anna watched BJ for us during the tornado scare while we were in LA. I was so worried not being able to be with my dog in such scary weather. Anna kept us updated and truly treated BJ as one of her own. That really let me know that we will probably never use another sitter unless she is unavailable because she really does love the animals she watches. We can’t thank you enough Anna, you rock!!”

“She was great. House was clean, doggie updates were adorable and pups came home happy and bathed. Be really specific on pick up and drop off times well in advance and this is a perfect sitter”

“Chelsea was the best sitter! She was well prepared for Queen’s stay with her and even had extra bedding, toys, and supplies that would be needed for her stay if I had forgotten to pack something. Chelsea my mind at ease by sending me pictures and giving me updates about Queen throughout her stay. When we got home yesterday, Queen slept all night until I woke her up this morning. We will definitely use Chelsea’s services again!”

About: I have experience with both puppies and senior pets, and I’m really good at picking up on their needs. I’m patient with training, gentle with older pets, and always go the extra mile to make sure they feel safe and loved. I treat every animal like family and take pride in being dependable and caring. Pet care is a central part of my daily and weekly routine. I plan my days around each pet’s needs to ensure they receive consistent, personalized attention. Mornings typically begin with feeding, walking, or checking in on pets who stay overnight or require morning visits. Midday is often dedicated to dog walks or drop-in visits, especially for pets who need a bathroom break, medication, or company while their owners are at work. Follow the pet’s regular feeding schedule, including any medications. Provide fresh water at all times. Take dogs on walks or let them out as needed. Keep cats’ litter boxes clean and odor-free. Stick to the pet’s normal routine to reduce stress. Spend quality time with pets through play, affection, and attention.

“Our dog Toby stayed with Jennifer and her dogs for over two weeks and he had a great time! Jennifer sent us short videos so we could see how he was doing and she gave him his flea pill on time. In the past we’ve had Toby come home from a sitter seemingly traumatized, but he came back from Jennifer’s happy and in great shape. The only downside was I don’t think he wanted to leave, LOL!”

“She is definitely the best!! She gave updates throughout the day/night and almond with Pictures of our fur baby!!! If you’re looking for a safe and loving home booked with Ainsley!!!!”

About: I have 5+ years of experience in pet sitting and am a huge animal lover! I have two cats of my own, and have fostered about a dozen kittens and cats from shelters. I love interacting with dogs and cats of any size and personality, and enjoy dog walking as well. I have volunteered at the Humane Society cat house, as well as walk dogs through the Metro Animal Shelter happy hour. I would love to spend time with your pets and am committed to providing them a safe environment, as well as sending updates and pictures while you are away so you know they are in goods hands. I am currently a UAB medical student living in Tuscaloosa. I currently have a flexible schedule in my fourth year, and most of my weekends are completely open as well as some weekdays. I will ensure that my calendar stays updated routinely with availability. I am fully willing to tailor my pet-sitting for you and your pets needs! I am very flexible as far as needs for feeding, walking, etc and check ins at your home. Love going to the Tuscaloosa riverwalk for dog walking! Your pet can also stay in my home if needed! I live in a house with two adult cats so I prefer that your pet be cat-friendly, but I also have an extra bedroom where your furbaby can stay if separation is needed. My house has a walking trail and lake behind it which is perfect for dogs. My cats have been introduced to many foster pets over the years!

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a kid. Not only did my neighbors and friends entrust me with their fur babies, but I also grew up surrounded by animals, learning the responsibilities and joys of pet care firsthand. Over the years, I've developed a deep understanding of different species' needs, from feeding and grooming to administering medications and providing companionship. Whether it's dogs, cats, or more exotic animals, I approach every pet with the same love, patience, and attention to detail. My experience has not only made me a reliable caregiver but also a true animal lover, always eager to ensure that every pet feels safe, loved, and well-cared for. As a college student, pet care is an important part of my daily routine. I make sure to prioritize my pet’s needs alongside my studies and other commitments. In the mornings, I take time to feed and walk my dog before heading to class, and I make sure to set aside time between lectures for quick check-ins or play sessions. On busy days, I arrange my schedule so that I can either rely on a trusted friend or pet sitter or make sure my pet has everything they need, like food, water, and toys, to keep them comfortable while I’m away. In the evenings, after my coursework or study sessions, I spend quality time with my pet, whether that’s going for a walk or just relaxing together. I’ve learned to balance school and pet care by staying organized and making sure my pet's needs are always met, even during the busiest weeks. Living in an apartment, I make sure to create a pet-friendly environment that keeps both my own pets and any clients’ pets safe, comfortable, and happy. For my own pets, I ensure they have enough space to move around, with designated areas for eating, playing, and resting. I also make the most of the apartment’s layout by using pet-friendly furniture, toys, and scratch pads to keep them engaged. Since apartment living often means limited outdoor space, I prioritize regular walks and playtime at nearby parks or open areas. For my clients, I adapt my approach based on the pet’s specific needs. If I’m pet-sitting or providing care at their home, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible—whether it’s feeding, administering medication, or playing. I also make sure to pet-proof the space, ensuring there’s nothing harmful or dangerous within reach. For dogs, I take them for regular walks and provide enrichment through play and mental stimulation. For cats and other small pets, I ensure their litter boxes are clean, food and water are fresh, and that they have plenty of space to roam or rest. Overall, whether in my apartment or a client's home, I focus on maintaining a consistent routine and providing personalized care to ensure pets feel secure and content.

“Monique was very responsive to all of my messages. My pup had anxiety and she did an amazing job of comforting her. She is kind and was very patient while we waited for our pup to feel comfortable. Highly recommend 🐾”

About: I’ve taken care of plenty of dogs and cats over the years. I have grown up with four dogs and two cats— and I love spending time with them! I’m currently working but have plenty of time for drop in and walks on Tuesday and Thursdays as well as over the weekends! Availability changes daily so feel free to ask for anything! I don’t have any dogs living with me but would probably prefer you to bring your dogs crate during the night. I have a nice area to walk your dog when they need to go out!

“Lauren was the best! I had to make an emergency last minute booking and she was extremely flexible. Not only did she take great care of my dog, but she gave me status updates. I really appreciated her service and will most certainly be going straight to her if when I need to board my dog again. Thank you Lauren and your little dog Theo!”
