About: Hi, I’m Randy — recently retired after a 28 year career as a scientist with Merck Animal Health. I’ve spent my entire professional life dedicated to improving the health, comfort, and wellbeing of animals, and now I’m excited to continue that passion through one on one pet care. Animals have always been at the center of my world. I understand how they communicate stress, curiosity, comfort, and confidence, and I take pride in creating a calm, predictable environment where pets feel safe and understood. About: I have such a huge soft spot for cats! I love getting to know each cat personally. I have experience taking care of cats of different ages and personalities, including younger kittens who may need extra patience, attention and supervision. Currently, me and my roommates are taking care of 2 young kittens and 1 grown kitty :) I work a steady Monday through Friday, nine to five at the Georgetown Signarama. My weekends are always open! If needed, I can take off work early at 3pm. I help take care of two young kittens and a grown cat with my roommates currently. I can bathe, clean litter boxes, clean accidents and keep their spaces clean and comfortable.
About: Taking care of animals has always come very naturally to me! As a child I liked to run around the farm I lived on searching for kittens and petting horses. When staying with your pet or even just dropping in, I can feed, play, crate, or give some meds to your pet if necessary. I am able to take walks or run around for a bit in the back yard. My goal is to always make the pet and the owner feel as comfortable as possible while maintaining a normal routine where necessary. I ask that owners leave detailed instructions so I can accommodate your animals as best as possible. I also request that any cameras in the home be notified to myself before I stay and I like to be clear that my partner may sometimes stay with me for overnights.

About: I have had dogs since I was in preschool. I started my understanding of them and other animals when I turned nine. Since then, I always have had my and other people’s pets interest at heart. Today, my dogs are ages eight and eleven and I am their most trusted person in the house. I’ve trained them both despite being in school and I take care of their hygiene. This includes brushing their fur, washing them, and cleaning their teeth. When I am not taken care of their hygiene, I make sure they have a daily playtime or cuddle session so they have some love everyday. I have a part time job that requires me to work on Friday evenings, some Mondays, Wednesday nights, Friday nights, and Sunday however I do have a cancellation on those days sometimes and I will let clients know. Other than that I am very flexible on both weekdays and weekends. If I am unable to work, I will communicate immediately to the best of my ability. I make sure hazards are out of range and site of the animal in care. I don’t rush the bond, and take it to the pet’s pace for trust. At home, my dogs at senior dogs that I have trained since they were puppies and we have a lot of trust in each other and a great bond. I can’t perform service at my own house since I have a toddler sibling who my dogs have gotten used to but I do not want to stress anyone’s pets out. We also have family members who have allergies.
About: I’ve been dog sitting, house sitting and dog walking for awhile up to weeks at a time. I enjoy being around all types of dogs small to big. I love getting all the puppy love!! I’m currently babysitting part-time but I can move my schedule around pretty easily and fast. I would like to pursue pet care part time as well!
