About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and my grandma used to train guide dogs for the blind so I have a lot of experience with dogs. I am currently starting my student teaching this year and for the time being this will be done through half days four days a week. So I have pretty open availability throughout the week and can be really flexible. In your home I will do my absolute best to stick to your pets normal schedule as to not cause them any stress while you are away.
About: I have 30 years experience with various animal species including dogs, cats, and rabbits. I understand their needs, exercise, nutrition, medical, and grooming. I have volunteered with rescues and worked part time at a vets office as well. I ensure quality care at an affordable price. I am at home most of the time and ensure the pets wellbeing and safety before running short errands. I also have a family member who watches them if I am away so they will be fully supervised. I am a helicopter pet parent and speak their language. I am well prepared (I have excess supplies, please ask) and am experienced for medical emergencies and or disability care.

About: I have been involved with animals my entire life, my dad is a veterinarian, and I worked as a vet tech for over eight years. I’ve also volunteered at rehab rehabilitation centers. I’m very experienced with owning all types of animals, and deeply care about their well-being! I currently work from home and can fit my schedule around caring for my/other pets. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening visits with flexible timing. I’m very attentive and treat every pet like family. I keep a clean, calm environment, stick to their normal routine, and closely follow any care instructions. About: Animals are more than just pets, they’re family. I grew up having cats & dogs. As a child I enjoyed watching dog trainers shows & applying their techniques with my own dogs training. One of my childhood dogs went blind from illness so I had to learn how to retrain her in a way she could understand. She also required insulin shots that I took on the responsibility of providing for her. I have also raised several puppies, 4 at the same time at one point. Each was house/potty trained, knew basic skills, socialized, crate & leash trained before going to their new homes. I currently have two girls, a border collie/chow & a border collie/husky. I have been pet sitting and house sitting for years now. Which not only involved dogs but cats, bunnies, reptiles, birds, horses and many other species. I’m here to make your time away worry free. I have a pretty open schedule at this current time. I work Fridays so I would only have a little bit of evening time available. Other than that, I am very flexible. I can do mornings just not early mornings. After 10. I am very flexible with maintaining a schedule you’d like. Whether that be regular, consistent walks and/or continued training when you’re away. I do exercise my girls regularly so would have time aside for that during the day but I will absolutely make appropriate time for your babies to receive all the love they need.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
