About: Hi there! I'm an experienced and loving caretaker for dogs, cats, and all kinds of pets: including chickens, horses, and even the occasional bunny! I don’t do this for the money, I truly find joy in playtime, long walks, and making sure animals feel safe, happy, and loved. I must’ve been a dog in a past life! Whether your pet needs cuddles, structure, medicine, exercise, or just good company, I’ve got it covered. A couple of notes: I’m not able to accept bookings in homes that use synthetic air fresheners or otherwise strong/harsh scents (unless it can be unplugged or not used beforehand) as it disrupts my ability to be comfortable! I generally prefer stays longer than a single night but will consider one offs especially for repeat clients! Thank you for understanding. NOTE: I am still taking bookings in Asheville, NC - I will travel to you! I am currently living with my partner in Charlottesville VA I happen to work remotely from my computer with a schedule I determine myself. So I am very flexible and able to give lots of attention. I know it can be nerve wracking for your pets and I always meet your pet where they are. I understand that all pets are different with varying emotional and physical needs. I am very empathetic, understanding, and attentive when it comes to adjusting my care per animal. About: I’ve been taking care of family, friends, and neighbors pets since I was 10 years old. I’ve taken care of animals of all ages from puppies to senior animals. I work at a school, so this is not my full time job. It would be best to contact me directly for my availability and to figure out what works best for you and your pet(s). walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
