About: I’m a lifelong animal lover who has a family dog on the other side of the state! I have over 7 years of experience caring for pets of all ages, ranging from 3-month-old puppies to sweet senior dogs who want more love than play time. For the past 4 years, I’ve been trusted to walk, drop in, and house-sit for multiple families/friends, providing attentive, loving care while keeping their homes safe and clean. Whether it’s a nice day/evening walk, an overnight stay, or a drop-in visit for a couple of hours during the day, I make sure your pets feel loved, comfortable, safe, and entertained. I love going for walks, playing fetch, playing with toys, and giving them all the attention they deserve and need! If your dog loves to lounge and cuddle while watching TV, they'll become a fan of reality TV pretty quickly. In addition to pet care while house-sitting, I will gladly water your plants, bring in and sort mail, and ensure your home stays clean and cared for while you’re away. Your pets will be treated like my own as I watch them, and your home will be cared for like it is my own. I currently work FT in health care, which only requires 3 days of work a week! While my work days vary week to week, I am a home body the other 4 days of the week so your pets will feel loved and cared for while your gone! Since I just bought my house, I am currently not offering boarding in my own home; however, I would be glad to stay over at your place (when available) and care for your pets! If you don’t have a yard, no problem! I will gladly take them for walks around the neighborhood and make sure their needs are met. If your pet needs a drop-in visit for love during the day, we can spend time playing, cuddling, eating some treats (if applicable), and take a bathroom break or two!

About: My dog just passed away so I am looking to bring some furry friends back into my life. I have taken care of my own dog for the last 10 years, and I am well versed in child and pet care! I’m currently working from home 4/5 work days, so my schedule is very flexible! I would prefer to work afternoons during and after lunch time, so essentially anytime after 11! While I can’t watch dogs at my own home, due to roomates allergy issues, I am very gentle with dogs and responsible with feedings and walkings. I am able to follow specific instructions really well, and will do my absolute best job to take care of your furry friend.

Alex was fantastic!! We have our 2 kittens, and our daughter’s cat and kitten, which just moved into our home 2 weeks before we left. Alex had cats with new feeding schedules, still getting used to one another, and one kitten needing daily eyedrops and oral medication. She handled it all with ease! This was only our 2nd time using Rover, and 1st time having Alex. I personally was so nervous about leaving them, especially the baby who was sick, but Alex quickly reduced my anxiety and stress and allowed us all to enjoy our time away! I recently made a short trip out of town, and decided to ask Alyx to sit for my 9-month-old kitten Josie. This was my first time being away from Josie for an extended time, and I was a bit nervous because she is so young. Alyx was fabulous with her, and completely set my mind at ease. She sent regular reports and photos, and it was clear that Josie was comfortable and happy. I will definitely call on Alyx again when I need cat-sitting in the future!
