About: I've had dogs in my life since I was 6 years old. I love taking care of them, making their days full of fun and ensuring that they're healthy and loved. I walked my miniature daschund and chocolate lab side by side for years, so I got a lot of experience with a range of sizes and types of dogs. I’ve worked with the Blue Ridge Humane Society as well in my career. I cared for and interacted with puppies, teens and old doggies with all sorts of medical problems, temperaments and personalities. The attention and care they deserve will not be missing when I am around. I now have a bordercollie mix of my own, and he has taught me even more about what makes dogs happy. I have experience house sitting for neighborhood pets, experience giving medicine to dogs, taking care of elderly dogs and youngsters. I also volunteered at my local SPCA throughout college and got a lot of experience handling different levels of leash-trained dogs, and reactive dogs. I am currently between roles in my career, due to a sudden loss in my family. I am available to care for your pets whenever they need and I know they deserve the utmost love — since my pet is keeping me going these days too. My first priority is making sure your animal feels safe around me and comfortable. Once I gain their trust, whether it’s instant or over a few visits, I will be sure to learn their favorite ways to live and provide that for them. I will walk them on their favorite trails, give them their favorite scratches, snuggle if they need or just let them have their space and potty breaks. I listen to the animals needs and respond.

About: Animals have been a big part of my life having grown up with both cats and dogs. While I don’t currently have my own pets, I regularly dog, cat and house sit for friends and family. I am extremely active (avid runner, hiker, walker) so I make sure your pet gets the exercise they need. I make sure all pets feel comfortable and are cared for like family! I work remote for a non profit so I am able to spend the whole day with your animals. I work remotely for a non-profit so I am able to give your pet the attention and care they need. Being outdoors and exercising is a huge part of my life so your dogs are sure to get their exercise in! I am a courteous guest that treats other peoples homes with the same respect as I treat my own. I am not able to host pets at my current living situation but am happy to come to you! I promise to provide your animals with the care and exercise that they need.
“We needed a dog sitter last minute at our rental while visiting Greenwood. Grace responded immediately, and took great care of our pups, so we didn’t have to worry about them, or rush to get home and take them out. Thanks Grace!”

“Rebeka couldn’t be nicer and handled our handful of a dog very well. She responds to messages quickly, and I appreciated her reaching out to confirm the day of our scheduled appointment. She is very prompt and has a lot of dog behavioral experience that is helpful. I would not hesitate to use her again!”

“Our cats felt very comfortable with Michael, and so did we! He's reliable, kind, and respectful of animals, and also very intuitive with them. Their personalities are very different, but he gave Bagheera plenty of active play and made friends with the very shy Laska. We highly recommend Michael and will use him again. Great Rover cards, by the way!”

About: Animals have always been the center of my life, and caring for them is so much more than a job to me — it’s truly my passion. I currently have four dogs and five cats of my own, so I understand firsthand the love, attention, patience, and responsibility that go into providing excellent pet care every single day. My experience with animals goes far beyond personal pet ownership. I worked at a dog rescue for three years, where I gained hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, temperaments, and special needs. During that time, I also fostered 52 dogs, helping them transition into safe, loving homes. That experience taught me how to build trust with nervous pets, handle different personalities, and provide compassionate, individualized care. In addition, I have been working as a veterinary technician for the past two years, which has given me strong knowledge of animal health, behavior, safety, and overall well-being. I’m comfortable recognizing signs of stress or illness, administering attentive care, and making sure pets feel safe and supported. What sets me apart from other sitters is the genuine love and dedication I bring to every animal I meet. I treat every pet as if they were my own, and I’m committed to making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and loved while you’re away. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or needs a little extra patience, I have the experience and heart to provide exceptional care. Pet care is seamlessly integrated into my daily and weekly life. Each day, I set aside dedicated time for feeding, walking, playing, and providing companionship to ensure every pet receives consistent attention and care. Every pet receives the love, care, and attention they need to thrive, making their time with me a happy and fulfilling experience. When caring for pets, safety, trust, and a comfortable environment are my top priorities. In my home, I ensure a secure and pet-friendly space by removing hazards, providing comfortable bedding, and maintaining a clean environment. I follow the owner's instructions meticulously, maintaining their feeding schedule, exercise routine, and any specific care requirements. I build trust by being patient, gentle, and attentive, allowing pets to adjust at their own pace. Regular playtime, cuddles, and positive reinforcement help create a bond and alleviate any anxiety they may feel. In a client's home, I respect their space and maintain their pet's routine as closely as possible. I follow their instructions regarding feeding, walking, medication, and playtime. I ensure the home is secure, checking that doors and windows are properly closed and that there are no potential hazards. I communicate regularly with the owner, providing updates and photos to reassure them that their pet is in good hands. My goal is to provide a safe, trustworthy, and comfortable environment, whether in my home or theirs, so pets feel secure and loved in their owner's absence.

From energetic puppies who need extra patience and consistency to independent cats who prefer a quieter approach, I believe every pet deserves individualized attention and care. In addition to caring for my own pets over the years, I have volunteered with animal rescue and shelter organizations, giving me experience working with animals of different temperaments and backgrounds. ✨Drop-in visits / Dog walking / Cat care visits / Puppy visits / senior pet care ✨Meet & Greet I strongly encourage a meet-and-greet before any first-time booking. This gives us an opportunity to: • Make sure we’re a good fit • Allow your pet to become familiar with me • Review feeding schedules and daily routines • Discuss medications or special care requirements • Review behavior preferences and household expectations • Answer any questions before services begin I currently work full-time, but I still maintain availability outside of my work schedule for pet care, drop-ins, walks, feedings, and quality time with your pets. I’m reliable with routines and make sure pets receive the attention, consistency, and care they need while their owners are away. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pets and entering your home. I treat every animal with patience, respect, and attention to their individual comfort level and routine. I’m experienced with shy pets, senior animals, anxious pets, and pets that may need a calmer approach or extra time to adjust. I always prioritize safety, clean environments, secure doors/leashes, and careful attention to instructions so owners can feel confident their pets are being cared for like family.

“As a spur of the moment idea, that I had heard about through a friend in CA, I contacted Rover and had a good, instant, comforting response. The care giver was great and did send picures and I was very comforted. Thanks to her.”

About: I've had dogs my entire life and couldn't imagine life without them. I have dog sat for a few friends as well. I'm an active person, so I would love to take them on walks as long as it's a safe area. I don't have pets here, so I would love to hang out with yours. I work in college athletics, but I love animals and want to spend time with them which is why I want to do this and make a little extra money. My hours are 8:30-6:30 depending on the day and week message me and I will try to make it work! I show them so much love, but I respect their space and their personality. I think it's good to be firm with them, especially depending on how the owner is training them. But the silly moments are always a blast
“Chloe has done a wonderful job taking care of our two cats while we were out of town. The kitties are always healthy and happy when we return, so I am confident that Chloe gave them lots of attention and affection during her visits. She also went above and beyond by watering our Christmas tree, bringing in our packages, and even buying the kitties little toys during her first visit, which they still like to play with. I will definitely be contacting Chloe for our future cat-sitting needs!”
