About: I’ve owned dogs and cats since I was very young. I’ve watched friends pets when they go out of town and I currently have my own cats and a dog! I’m currently only working part time and from home, so I will have plenty of time to spoil your pups with all the love and attention they deserve! I have a fenced in yard! Reading previous reviews, I wasn't surprised that Melissa took such great care of my 2 kitties while I was away - she has an obvious talent for interacting with animals and seems to sincerely love her job. I was however a bit surprised by the extra level of professionalism Melissa brings to her service. Her communications are both timely and thorough and she expertly adjusted her care plan - on the fly - to accommodate some extra shy behavior from my younger kitten. Melissa's gentle patience won out in the end and I arrived home to 2 very content and stress-free fur babies. A truly perfect ending to my holiday weekend. About: I’ve had two dogs growing up, a mini boxer and a French bulldog. I’ve cared for them all my life. I have bathed, walked, fed, and gave them so much love. We got our Puppy when I was 14, so I have a lot of experience caring for puppies as well. I didn’t grow up in a home with cats, but I love them too. I’ve had lots of experience cat sitting and get along with them well too! I am a masters student at UW-Stevens Point, in the Natural Resources department. I will not be able to provide services mid day Fridays or Mondays, but I am flexible the rest of the week! I will always follow your directions and keep a good baseline of contact with you! I am not allowed to board pets in my apartment, but I will always be respectful of your space as well.
About: I’ve worked with dogs and cats aswell as many other animals for many years! I know how to groom, bathe and clip nails, I know how to train aswell when it comes to both cats and dogs, knowing i’ve pet sat for family and friends since i was young it grew on me for training them! I can trick, potty, behavior train too! I take care of my own pets everyday! i find it relaxing and enjoyable, it brings me great joy to spend time with animals and gives me a sense of purpose! I love to make sure everything is clean and tidy, dishes are clean as well as the animals, making sure they have what they need and have quality enrichment time.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
