“Savannah was incredible! She showed up on time and spent extra time on her walk with Layka. I highly recommend her and I will definitely use her again in the future. In her meet and greet (introduction) she asked very pointed questions and had a great follow up. She treats your pet like her own and shows you right away that she cares about your animal.”

About: I am a current senior at Montana State and work at the hospital part-time. I have been pet sitting for family and friends for about 5 years now and love animals. While most my experience is with dog and puppies, I am open to cat sitting as well. I am available for house sitting, walks, or even drop-in visits. I would love to chat more so please reach out if you are interested in having me care for your animals! Pet care is a part-time job for me, as I am also a college student and work part-time at the hospital. I make my own work schedule, so if you reach out to me in advance I can make more availability if necessary for your pets. I am available evenings and weekends! I care for pets in my client's home, as my residence does not allow animals. I am available for overnight care, drop-in visits, and daily outings. Reach out to me if you are interested in learning more about my services!
“Abby is very personable and easy to connect with. These qualities make for a great walker especially when it comes to hiring strangers to walk your fur baby. She’s been great with my (very territorial) 5 year old Aussie shepherd and I wish I’d found her sooner!”

About: I've taken care of dogs of all kinds of different breeds, ages, temperaments, energy levels, sizes, and needs. Whether in my own home, or in the homes of family and friends, I've been trusted to look after multiple dogs at a time. I've trained my own dogs since puppies, and feel confident in my ability to train your pets whether it be trick, basic obedience, or even potty training. I also have lots of experience walking large dogs with lots of energy that struggle to walk on leash. I am currently a student at MSU with plenty of time to check in on, take care of, walk, and love on your furry friends daily. I've spent two summers working at the Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter taking care of and loving on the pets before they found their forever homes. I've been helping raise dogs since I was 10, and I've worked with professional trainers. I care deeply for all animals and would love to work with your pets and love on them. I have an unfenced but open backyard with two friendly dogs in my own home of different energy levels to match your pet's energy and playing types. We love going for walks of all different lengths during the day, and go on lots of outings to both individual dog parks and group parks. My focus is on fulfilling your pets needs and mentally stimulating them, not just tiring them out. Whatever that means for your pet, I can make it work.
About: Like many pet lovers, I grew up with dogs: shar peis and miniature schnauzers. As an adult, I adopted a rescue puppy from Ecuador and brought him home to Montana. He was the most wonderfully behaved, well-adjusted companion and passed away in 2020. A couple of years later, I adopted a puppy from the Blackfeet Reservation. He's a cattle dog, german shephard, husky, labrador, etc., mix and 65 pounds. I trained him extensively and jumped into nose work with him! He's Amazing! He is currently living in Hawaii with my partner, who grew up training service dogs with his family. I've lived with many senior dogs and feel comfortable caring for puppies. I currently have a flexible schedule and can spend a lot of quality time with your dog. I'm happy to bring your pet with me on errands and include them in my routines. Depending on what your pup is used to, I can be flexible, keeping to their routine as well. I cannot offer to care for pets in my current rental. Time spent at my client's home will depend on the dog's needs, and the time of year (holiday, etc). There's situational flexibility. I prefer to do a meet and greet before accepting new house-sitting requests.
About: Hi there! I’m Shaylee. I love all kinds of animals. I grew up with dogs and bunnies, and took horseback riding lessons as a kid. My family bred several litters of Golden Retrievers, so I’m familiar and comfortable with puppies. I have my own sweet pup, Birdie. She loves to swim, hike and play fetch. I often help out with friends’ pets, and would love to care for others! I’ve cared for reactive dogs in the past, and am open to any additional measures I may need to take to ensure everyone’s comfort. I’m confident in my ability to keep your pet safe and happy. I’m about to begin a grad program at MSU and will have classes Monday and Wednesday through the summer. Other than that, I’m pretty flexible! I know each animal is unique in what they need to be happy and healthy, and I follow all instructions to a T to make sure they get the care they need. I also certainly watch for concerning behavior or symptoms that may indicate illness or distress, and will always check in if I think something’s up. I’ll treat your animal like my own!

About: I grew up surrounded by dogs, and cats; animals have always been a big part of my life! With 10 years of experience, I’m comfortable caring for animals of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Whether your pet is young, senior, energetic, or needs a little extra care, I’m happy to provide dependable, attentive, and loving care while you’re away. I currently work in a role where I create my own schedule, so I have both the flexibility and time to dedicate to caring for your pet! I currently do not offer in-home pet sitting but due to my flexible work schedule, I can easily care for your pet as you need!
“Olivia was punctual and very communicative! Ruby had a wonderful walk and could tell she got a ton of exercise and was ready for a nap! I will be using Olivia again for more walks and house sitting, highly recommend!”

About: I have had high energy dogs mostly heelers and love to take them outside for adventures. It helps me bond with them and teach them to be social. I currently work evenings and bring my our dog out for walks all the time during the day. I love taking him to the dog park and hiking and have room to bring others with me. I mostly take my dog to the dog park and leash him when I take him hiking. I would be able to bring another dog with us when we adventure.
“Charles was absolutely wonderful. It was my first time using Rover, and he made me feel very comfortable. He was also highly communicative, flexible, and clearly LOVES dogs. I would highly recommend him!”

About: Hi! I’m Tara — a lifelong animal lover with a heart for senior pets, pups with special needs, and those with unique quirks. I’ve been living and working with dogs (and cats!) my whole life, and I’ve built some wonderful relationships on Rover always treating every pet like family. Located near the Bozeman airport, my home is an animal-friendly haven with cozy bedrooms, a large fenced yard for playtime, and two friendly resident pups, Oliver and Bailey, who love making new friends. I’m experienced with training, medication routines, and giving pets the extra patience and TLC they need to feel safe and happy. *Please enquire about extended stay or regular client discounts.* Whether your pet needs a comfy place to stay or just a little extra attention, I’ve got you covered — with love, play, and peace of mind. 🐶🐱💕 I am open to last minute plans, one time, as well as having regular guests. * Doggy Day Care is a 12 hour window from 7 am to 7pm, if you need longer daycare we can possibly modify for up to an additional 3 hours ( please enquire.) Naturally, all pets get treated like family. Whether at my home, or a clients home, everyone gets the attention and care they deserve. The innocent, precious nature of animals, especially one that is a part of a family holds an immeasurable value.
About: I absolutely love and adore all dogs! I grew up with a border collie and cared for her when she got old! I also have a 4 year old border collie and am not new to the puppy phases! :) I have dog sat for many of my neighbors growing up and since then. I am happy to meet you and your dog! Like I said I am a pet owner and work a full time job. So I have nothing short of a busy life, but I would love to add your fur friend to my agenda! :) The dogs will go out and play multiple times a day as I have the yard space to allow fetch, chase, or even just lounging. I live in a ground level apartment with an unfenced yard. There is plenty space between the yard and the road, which isn’t a very busy one anyway, but your pet will be safe from any cars, etc. I live about a 5-10 minute walk from Gallatin Regional Dog Park, so if your fur friend needs a fenced in space to run and play, that is an option as well! I also love to explore new parks around town and go on hikes so plenty of adventures will be in place! We will check out different dog parks, go swimming (if that’s what they like), go on hikes, play fetch, go on car rides, and of course cuddle! Nova (my dog) and I live a very busy lifestyle. When I am not at work, we (including your furry friend) will be going on hikes, camping trips, water days, car rides, visit my parents (up in the mountains), or just hang out in the backyard and play. We don’t always go on big adventures as I have plenty of yard space for the dogs to roam freely and run and exercise as needed. *If you are uncomfortable with your pet doing any of these things, please communicate ahead of time or expect some activities to occur.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
