“Kim was great with our pup. He came home very happy. Trusting someone you don’t know well with part of your family isn’t easy. But from the moment I dropped my dog off, I knew instantly he would be loved and cared for. I had no fears leaving him and would absolutely recommend Kim as a sitter/boarder. My family does a lot of traveling and I would be more than pleased to have her watch him again!”

“Logan (and Grace) were great! His communication was quickly responsive initially, and regular on a daily basis including pictures of how happy Mocha was during her stay. We are very protective of Mocha, and Logan made sure she was safe and getting along with their cat and one other dog they were caring for during part her stay. I know if they were not getting along he would have kept them separate and protected her. But turns out they all got along. I won’t hesitate to use Logan as my first choice if we ever have need for a caretaker in the future. Thanks Logan!”

“My dogs love me. But when I drop them off to Jerri, they are so happy they don’t even look back to say goodbye! She’s definitely a dog person and will love and care for your dogs like they’re her own.”

About: Hi, I’m Kassidy! I’m a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom of two with a love for animals! I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your furry family members while you’re away. I’ve had my own small dog for nearly 11 years, so I understand the love, attention and responsibility that come with caring for a pet. I also have experience caring for friends’ and family members’ dogs while they’re out of town, including providing daily care, administering medications and making sure their pets feel comfortable and loved. I’ve always loved having dogs in my life, and getting to know their different personalities is one of my favorite parts of caring for them! My goal is to provide a loving, comfortable environment where your dog feels like part of our family! Your dog will spend their days alongside us, enjoying plenty of companionship, attention, playtime and relaxation. Whether your pup loves going for walks, playing or simply curling up on the couch, I’ll do my best to make them feel right at home. As a homeschooling mom, I spend much of my time at home, which allows me to provide plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. My goal is to keep their routine as familiar as possible so they feel happy and comfortable while you’re away. My two children will be present during your dog’s stay. They’ve grown up around dogs their entire lives and have been taught how to interact with animals gently and respectfully. They will be supervised at all times and not left alone with your pet. Our home is equipped with a fenced in yard and safety gates that allow me to separate spaces when needed for everyone’s comfort and safety. Otherwise, your dog will be right alongside us, enjoying our everyday family activities! I understand that every dog has its own personality, routine and needs. I’m happy to discuss any medications, special accommodations or preferences beforehand to make sure your pup feels comfortable. I’m also happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand to make sure your dog is a great fit for our family and home! I’ll provide photos and updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your furry family member is being loved and cared for!
“I've called on Kayti for help watching my Charley recently and she has been so helpful! She sends pictures and I know he's having a good time in her backyard! She has no problem giving medications and recommended I give Charley a slow feed bowl because she noticed he was eating quicker. Kayti is great!”

About: PROFESSIONAL PET CARE | 10+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE | CPR & FIRST AID CERTIFIED Hi, I'm Maddy! I'm the owner of Blue Birch Pet Care & Training, providing professional, fully insured pet care backed by over a decade of hands-on experience with domestic, exotic, and farm animals. Pet care is my profession, not a side job. My background includes zoology, animal behavior, veterinary-related education, specialized handling, and experience with animals of all ages, species, and care requirements. MY EXPERIENCE & SPECIALTIES - Behavior & Training: Positive reinforcement and fear free training, behavior management and rehabilitation, enrichment, and individualized training support for all needs. - Medical & Special-Needs Care: Medical rehabilitation, medication administration, neonatal and postnatal care, bottle/syringe feeding, senior care, mobility assistance, emergency care, and wildlife rehabilitation - Emergency Preparedness: Pet CPR and first aid certification, with an emphasis on prevention, safety, and prompt communication. - Comprehensive Pet Care: Walking, drop-ins, boarding, daycare, overnight house sitting, grooming, and pet transportation. - All Species Welcome: Dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, amphibians, birds/fowl, exotic pets, and small or large farm animals. SAFETY, ACCOUNTABILITY & COMMUNICATION I prioritize individualized care, safe handling, established routines, and detailed communication. I utilize GPS tracking and a vehicle dashcam for professional accountability. I also encourage clients to consider exterior security cameras for additional peace of mind. For boarding and daycare, I prioritize appropriate supervision, secure environments, and each animal's individual comfort and safety. I offer private daycare and boarding, or group, with or without socialization with the other animals. SPECIALIZED ANIMAL CARE & PRICING I welcome inquiries for exotic pets, livestock, poultry, and animals requiring specialized medical or behavioral support. Please contact me to discuss your pet's needs, availability, and individualized pricing. Your pet's physical and emotional well-being is my priority. I understand the trust involved in choosing a caregiver and am committed to providing knowledgeable, dependable, compassionate care you can feel confident in. I have a highly flexible schedule and can accommodate last-minute changes as needed. Since my college coursework is asynchronous, I can adapt my work to fit around your schedule seamlessly. As a business owner who manages my own time, I prioritize reliability and responsiveness, ensuring that your pet’s needs are always met with the highest level of care and attention. Commitment to Quality Care in Your Home When caring for your pet in your home, I strive to go above and beyond to ensure both your pet's well-being and your peace of mind. If I notice anything out of place or in need of tidying, I’m happy to help—but always with your prior approval. I understand that personal preferences vary; some clients prefer to handle certain tasks themselves, while others appreciate the extra assistance. My goal is to respect your space and treat your home with the same level of care I would my own. Having spent the last two years renovating my own home, I deeply understand the importance of maintaining a clean and organized environment. Safety and Pet Care Best Practices Your pet’s safety is my top priority, and I take every precaution to ensure their well-being: Secure Transportation: If I transport your pet, they will always be properly restrained with a seatbelt or pet travel carrier for safety. Leash & Walk Safety: On walks, I ensure pets do not pick up items from the ground. I also clean their paws after every outing, just as I do with my own pets. Hygiene & Health: If your pet gets dirty, I will provide a bath with your permission. Any medical concerns will be addressed immediately, and I am trained in emergency pet first aid, excluding surgical procedures. Home Security: I will ensure all doors and windows are securely locked when leaving your home. Privacy & Updates: I will only take photos of your pet for your updates and will never photograph your home without permission. Supervision & Outdoor Time: Pets in my care will never be left alone in a vehicle or outside unattended, even in my fenced yard. Cats will remain indoors unless they are harness-trained and you request outdoor time. Stranger Interaction: While on walks, your pet will not interact with strangers or other animals unless pre-approved for socialization. Pet Care in My Home Pets in my home receive dedicated supervision unless prior arrangements are made: Dogs: If a dog is staying with me and needs to be left alone for an extended period, I require a crate for their safety and comfort. However, my schedule is highly flexible, minimizing the time they are left alone. Cats: Cats may be left unsupervised in a designated, pet-safe room with regular check-ins. Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Dogs with severe aggression or unpredictable behavior. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.
About: I've had dogs since I was a child. I've had lots experience with potty training dogs. Many friends and family have trusted me with their pets (dogs, cats, lizards) while they were on vacation all in their own home. I currently have a large fenced in yard that my sheepadoodle loves to run around in and play fetch. All pets will be kept separate from each other during their stay. They will be cuddled and loved as our own! I work part time 2 minutes away from my home and come home around lunch time to let my dog out so I could very well let yours out as well. I have a large fenced in yard, I also have two large crates in our house and a larger cage in our garage to use if needed. Your pet would be kept inside our home and treated as our own.
