About: I have loved animals from a very young age, convincing my parents to get me my own dog when I was 10 years old. Her name was Zoey! I trained her myself, and she was my best friend. Not long after that, I began dog sitting for friends and eventually also spent time cat sitting and taking care of animals like chickens and bunnies. I adore pets of all shapes and sizes, and I understand entirely the immense value they have in our lives. I want nothing more than to make you feel safe allowing me to care for your best friends. I am occupied from 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday, but I am free most weekends and available to care for pets in the evenings. About: We will treat your dog(s) as our own. My friends tell me I have a special way of patting dogs and they (the dogs) seem to love it. They will get good belly rubs, behind-the-ear scratches and whatever love they need from both my husband and me. Our large fenced yard will entice your dog(s) to run and play as well as relax. We are comfortable looking after more than one dog at a time as we have a dog of our own. Just an FYI, Fiona, our 14.5 year old passed away in December 2023. We adopted Meeka in February 2024 who loves playing with other dogs and people. We also just adopted Simba in mid-April 2024. He is slowly getting socialized and loves playing with Meeka. They definitely keep each other company! Your dogs will also feel more comfortable in our house knowing that they are welcome and have familiar dog faces and smells here. I am also comfortable taking care of your dog(s) in your house to ensure your fur-children continue to stay in the comforts of their own homes. My husband and I look forward to meeting you and your dog(s) soon. My husband and I do this together. We both work full-time at the office but I work 2 days from home. During the in-office days, we will let the dogs out when we wake up and after one of us get back home. The other two days and on weekends, they get let out every 2-3 hours or as and when they need to go. My husband helps me when he’s home and we go for daily walks in the evenings and weekends. We love patting and playing with them as that’s our routine with our own dogs so rest assured, we’ll make sure your dog gets loved too. Meet and greets are always preferred because we want to make sure you’re comfortable with our family and vice versa. If your dog(s) will be in our home, my husband will be helping out. Therefore, we want to make sure our pups play well with each other too. If you need a house sitter while you’re gone because it’s easier and better for your pets to be in the comforts of their own home, it’ll either be my husband or I. In this case, we want to make sure you’re comfortable with both of us. Boarding/Daycare: We have a fenced backyard and require all boarders to be crate-trained and come with a crate, especially for feeding time and if things get wild. For older dogs like when we had Fiona, she struggled to go up and down the deck stairs so I let her out in the front yard which isn’t fenced. However, I went with her and she was great at not taking off with me and my husband. Meeka and Simba are always leashed when they get let out in the front. If you’re worried about your dog being in the front yard, we will always use a leash. Otherwise, the backyard is more than sufficient if they’re okay with stairs. Home Sitting: We will do our best to stick with your routine with your dog. I do work full-time, 2 days from home and my husband goes to the office all 5 days. If your dog loves walks/car rides, we'd be happy to have them meet ours and they can walk together. If there are other animals in your home that's need to be card for, please let us know. I am an animal lover and will learn quickly to care for animals I’ve not taken care of before.
About: I have been around animals my entire life. I grew up on a farm with two dogs as a child and have had many different-sized animals since. Im currently laid off work while recovering from a shoulder surgery so I have open availability and my shoulder is healed so I have no restrictions on walks or animal size I own a fenced-in lot next to my house for outside time. I have one super friendly dog who loves it out there and a room with a door so I don't have to use a crate inside.

However, my schedule is highly flexible, minimizing the time they are left alone. Cats: Cats may be left unsupervised in a designated, pet-safe room with regular check-ins. Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Dogs with severe aggression or unpredictable behavior. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.

I make sure to visit the home prior so I can meet and greet the family and the dog and learn their routine and where any supplies are that I may need. I make sure I can fit in some play/exercise time (whether the yard is fenced in, or we have to use a leash). I make sure to keep the environment clean and safe at all times and do regular check-ins. In my own home I provide the same service. I want you to be comfortable with where your dog will be visiting and know the environment they will be in, prior to staying. I make sure my house is always picked up and that there is minimal possibility of safety issues. My yard is fenced in, and I live by a nice park that is dog friendly. At home I enjoy playing/exercising indoors and out and making enrichment bowls. Health is key!

About: Dogs have been a significant part of my life, holding a special place in my heart. Growing up, my mother was involved in rescuing dogs, and we even took part in fostering. This experience exposed me to dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I've undergone basic dog training and share my life with a 3-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog named Millie. Prior to Millie, we had a beloved hound dog named Evie, who was a cherished companion for 15 years. My love for dogs spans every age, and I appreciate the unique needs and characteristics that come with each stage of their lives. I currently work from home full-time however, my schedule allows for flexibility through the week day where I can be available for walks, bathroom breaks, playtime, and snuggles. I would be happy to come get your pup out for a long walk before you return home. I would be happy to take your pup to a park to walk or around your neighborhood. I have a dog harness for safe traveling. I could also bring your pet to my home to play with my dog for a playdate. We have a nice fenced-in backyard with plenty of room to run. Our dog is wonderful with other dogs as well- big and small.
