About: I have been taking care of pets for about 7 years on my own. Whether that be while babysitting, house sitting, or puppy sitting. I have plenty of references for my past work. I have been with pets for up to two weeks where I keep their normal schedule and feed, bathe, walk, play, and many other activities. I have had two puppies of my own that I have trained. One a yellow lab and one a corgi. Just know your pups would be in great hands! I work from home so I am able to be around the animals all the time. With working from home if you are needing me to house sit and pet sit as well I could be there full time as long as there is a good internet connection. I have weekends and Fridays off and the rest of the week I work 7:30-6pm I love being outdoors as well, I can take your pups for walks, hikes, swimming, car rides and so much more! I am open to anything and can talk more privately about whatever you need! don't be afraid to get a hold of me! I work from home and my schedule is M-Th 7:30-6pm and have Fri-Sun off of work. I have the availability to work from anywhere. I can work while watching your pups and have them not leave my sight. I am also a local artist. I am always working on projects but when watching your pups they will have lots of attention! I am building a house right now. When it is done I will be opening up day care and in home care at my place as well so keep an eye out!! I care for animals the same way their owners would. I keep their same schedule as much as I can. I make sure they’re safe and sound while having fun and playing! A thing that sets my care apart is that I do work from home which makes it possible to be around all the time as long as you have good wifi in your home. I take pride in the care I give and the life I live! I spend lots of time outdoors, involved in the community, creating art, and being with family.

About: Welcome! Hello! My name is Joan! (Fully vacinated) I am 30 years old. With communication and depending on what you need I can make anything work. Please keep in mind, I do have a job and typically work from 8am until 2pm. Also, I am only willing to travel 30 minutes out of my way, I am based in carlton. but I am willing to travel to twisp and winthrop depeneding on the location. (Keep in mind gas) I love animals too the max! I also have a 5 year old kitty, named luna. I am offering at home services, dog walking in the morning or evening. This is will be a nice opportunity to get to know and meet my fellow neighbors, and also their fur baby's. Big to small. Baby's to seniors. Bottle feeding to potty breaks. I am your go to girl. Hope to meet you soon. I will not be having pets in my home. I would prefer places i visit to have a fence, or a leash works well as well. Safety is top priority for your pet and for myself. Pet sitting actually fits pretty well into my life. I am able to provide morning, afternoon, evening, and late night check ins. Based on what you are needing. Also house sitting. I have watched an array of animals from cats, dogs, horses and more. I like to take lots of time and play with your animal. Due to you not being home im sure they are missing you and wanting you to come home. I feel play time helps cats and dogs feel like their whole self while having a sitter.

Samantha was super awesome. She walked our dog Ruby while we were exploring Pybus market. She came very prepared with water and snakes for the hour walk. Ruby immediately liked her and Ruby knows dog people. Highly recommend Samatha and will absolutely use her again when we are in the area.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Winthrop. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Winthrop.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
