About: I’ve kept my grand dogs for years and have stayed overnight for several friends on multiple occasions . I have references that talk and bark 😁 I am retired so my schedule is very flexible. I can stay overnight and am usually available on weekends with advance notice. I love snuggles! I ask for an idea of what their day is like and try to follow it as much as possible. I have kept all ages and don’t mind giving medicine or potty training. I live going on walks also!
“This is our second time booking Sydney to watch our baby Cooper while we go on vacation. She always keeps us updated on how our pup is doing. Cooper is hit or miss with most other dogs but gets along great with Sydney’s fur baby’s as well! Would definitely recommend her to anyone!”

“Keith is awesome, my pup loves going to his Spa and spending the weekend there. She comes home nice and clean and she is always a happy camper. I can’t say enough good things about him but I appreciate him and he’s a great communicator with plenty of pictures and videos during the stay!”

“Toya is AMAZING. Our baby loves spending time with Auntie Toya and is very comfortable (even for being a shelter dog). She has nervous tendencies but don’t come up when Auntie Toya is around… Toya spoils her and loves on her and I have no worries because I know she being spoiled while I’m away. Love knowing she’s in loving hands. Brings me such peace of mind while I’m away. 🫶🏼”
“I don’t think my dog wanted to leave Brandie’s house! Brandie did a very good job with our chocolate lab and my dog came home in such a great mood. We will defiantly be using Brandie more in the future. She is very Flexible and very understanding.”

“Peyton provided our dog with all she needed- a playmate, nourishment, exercise and most importantly security. Coby looks forward to spending time with Peyton and Oakley again soon.”

About: As a pet sitter, I possess a range of unique skills and experiences that set me apart from other sitters. Throughout my life, I have been entrusted with the care of various dogs, and this early exposure has allowed me to develop a deep understanding and love for these furry companions. One of the key factors that distinguishes me as a pet sitter is my extensive experience. Since the age of 20, I have been actively involved in taking care of dogs. Whether it’s walking, feeding, or bathing, I have been the go-to person for neighbors, friends, and family when it comes to looking after their pets. This hands-on experience has provided me with invaluable knowledge about the different needs and behaviors of dogs, enabling me to provide the best care possible. I’m currently working part time at nights. Anytime before 3 works best. And I’m home in time enough to make sure my clients receive the best care. The inside of my house is pretty spacious enough for our furry friends to roam and relax , also have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space. There’s also a dog park nearby.

94% of sitters in Wininger can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Wininger.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
