About: I have three pets of my own, a cat and two dogs. I have assisted in training all of them in obedience and impulse control. I love to play, walk and snuggle all animals and sometimes teach them what I’m learning in school! I am a student at UAB and have lots of time to stop by to check on your babies. This semester I am done with class around lunch time except for on Tuesday (I have a later class). Proximity to UAB is ideal but I don’t mind driving a little farther every now and then. I always clean up after any mess your pet may make and ensure the house is tidy before you come home. I don’t mind cleaning a litter box or following any other house rules.

About: I have been a pet owner for several years and they are apart of my family. I would love the opportunity to help you care for your babies as well. My schedule is very flexible. I do work Monday through Friday from 9 to 5 but would be available to do drop ins before or after work and also available to board anytime during the weekend. I live in an apartment complex. I currently have one Lab that I love dearly. Her schedule is being walked three times a day and also lots of play time in the fenced in dog area. I will treat your babies the same way. If I come to stay in your home for care, I will follow any instructions you may have.

“Gracie is a fantastic Rover! She is very pleasant to work with and even helped me out last minute for a quick drop in to feed my four legged furry friend. Doesn’t disappoint with her walks either. She goes the distance to get your dog some good exercise! Will use as long as she around!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had dogs, and I quickly became the go-to dog walker in the neighborhood. In college, I volunteered with the local humane society, where I spent time walking dogs and taking them on fun “puppy dates” every day. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments—and animals tend to feel naturally safe and comfortable around me. More recently, I’ve also become a big cat person! I didn’t grow up with cats, but I adopted one two years ago and have absolutely fallen in love. Whether it’s a playful pup or a snuggly cat, I’m here to provide loving, attentive care while you’re away. I’m fully available all day, every day for walks, check-ins, or extended pet care. I’m going online school until August 26th and have a very flexible schedule! My home is very pet-friendly and a great environment for animals! I have one dog—an English Lab—who is sweet, well-behaved, and uses an electric fence. I also have a cat who gets along great with dogs. We live in a dog-loving neighborhood where people are always out walking their pets, and my dog has regular playdates with the neighborhood pups. It’s a fun, safe, and social environment for any visiting pets!

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life—dogs, cats, chicks, geese, parrots, hamsters, and even a ferret! Caring for pets comes naturally to me, and I truly enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique personality. Whether your pup needs belly rubs, I’m here for it. I also have a gentle, animal-loving child who would be happy to help keep your pet entertained and loved—always under my supervision, of course. Our home is full of warmth, patience, and positive energy, and we’d be honored to be your pet’s second family while you’re away. I currently have a flexible schedule as I’m preparing for my medical licensing exams and managing my household. I’m not working full-time, which means I can offer reliable, consistent care and adjust to your pet’s specific needs—whether it’s drop-in visits, feeding schedules, medication times, or just extra cuddles during the day. My days are structured but calm, giving me plenty of time and attention to devote to your furry family member. Your pet won’t just be squeezed into a busy routine—they’ll be a priority. I live in a peaceful, pet-friendly community right by a beautiful lake—perfect for relaxing walks and fresh air. There’s also a great dog playground nearby, so if your pup enjoys socializing and playtime, I’m happy to include that in our routine (with your permission, of course!). Whether your pet needs a peaceful companion or an active buddy, I’m here to make them feel safe, loved, and at home.

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember - there’s never been a time I wasn’t sharing my home with a dog or cat. From a young age, I was given full responsibility for my pets, and that early experience taught me the value of attentive, compassionate care. In high school, I rescued and raised three sweet dogs and even an entire litter of kittens. I was their their primary caregiver, managing everything from daily routines to unexpected health challenges. I have hands-on experience administering oral medication, assisting dogs during seizures, and caring for both energetic puppies and slow-moving senior pets. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds, and I treat every animal I care for like part of my own family. Since moving to the Birmingham area two years ago, I’ve settled in with my lovable lab mix Millie, my playful goldendoodle Mila, and my spirited kitty Cheeto. They bring me so much joy—and I’d love to offer the same loving, reliable care to your pets while you’re away. Whether it’s a walk, a cuddle, or just some extra attention, I’m here to provide “loving care when you can’t be there.” I work a hybrid full-time job during the week, which means I’m home a few days each week and out visiting customers on others. This flexible schedule allows me to be available for drop-in visits and walks—especially with advanced planning. On the days I work from home, I’m able to provide extra attention, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day. For days I’m on the go, I plan my route thoughtfully to ensure I can still meet your pet’s needs. I’m happy to work with your schedule to make sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and never alone for too long. When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I’ll take time to learn their habits, preferences, and quirks—whether it’s a favorite toy, a special feeding routine, or just knowing where they like to nap. I’m respectful of your home and keep everything clean, secure, and just as you left it. Most importantly, I make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well-attended while you’re away because they deserve nothing less.

About: Pets have always been in my family. I grew up with many beloved dogs (Sadie, Gracie, Libby, Lucy, and Copper) and more recently have gotten to care for my girlfriend’s cat (Hazel). There’s nothing I love more than an afternoon spent loving a furry friend. This summer, I work part time with a church on a flexible schedule, so I can fit in caring for your pets throughout the day! I am fully able to adapt to the needs of your pet(s)! Whether they need a lot of love and attention or need their space, I can meet their needs however you ask of me. Walks, cleaning up after them, hanging out with them—anything I can do to love your pets!

About: I’ve recently moved from Brazil with my family and brought my 14 year old cat with me. I grew up with a huge love for cats and I am experienced in working with dogs. I am passionate about getting to know the personalities of each pet and connecting with them to give them care and interaction they need. I’m a pet lover with a special affection for both cats and dogs! I provide loving care, daily updates, fun playtime, and exercise to keep your pet happy while you’re away. I also work as a substitute teacher, but I’m flexible and can easily fit your pet into my schedule. Your furry friend will be in good hands! Your rules my rules. Anything or special request for your babies I am on board. I can feed, brush, walk them and play with them.

About: I’ve pet-sat and owned many different pets and over many years including dogs, cats, fish, chickens, turtles, sugar gliders, and more. I would extend the same love to your four legged friends. I am currently working part-time over the summer and I have a flexible schedule for drop in visits or walks with your dogs or pets! I am available for booking for August dates. I can exercise dogs as needed whether fetch in the yard or on a walk. Crate trained pets or medication administration is no problem for me!

About: I was trained how to train dogs at an early age after our first dog was trained by our breeder. Since then I trained 2 golden retrievers and an Australian Cattle dog (red heeler). Both breeds are strong willed and have high energy. I work from home and so have a lot of freedom to break away to take care of dogs. I enjoy taking care of dogs and sharing the knowledge from my experience of training and raising dogs. I have a large beautiful fenced yard, have multiple crates for use and live within walking distance of a dog park. I have kids that will make sure your dog gets lots of love while being boarded.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters, no matter how many times a day I have to swing by, spend time with the animal, meds or whatever it is they need.. to me there’s no better feeling than to make a new friend and get to spend time with them. Pet sitting isn’t a job really to me but more like a privilege I get to make a pets day and help others when they can’t always be there. I started this years ago before rover was a thing and would just help my community out because I pet sat once and eventually ended up with a full schedule of pets. Your pet is your best friend for part of your life, you are their best friend their whole life.. give them the best care because they deserve it. I’m available Monday through Friday any day of the week. Preferably not to work weekends but if it’s a must I definitely can help. If I’m out of town I will block it out. I take care of other people’s pets as I do my own. My pets are my world and mean everything to me. They deserve nothing but love and so much more and all I can do is try to give that for their time here on this earth.
