“Huge thanks to Jasper for taking such great care of Coal and Vanilla while we were away! He followed all our directions perfectly and sent thoughtful updates with pictures that really put our minds at ease. It was so reassuring to see our kittens happy and well cared for. We came home to calm, content cats—and we couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend Jasper!”

“We love Maddy!! She was way beyond our exceptions and our cats loved her. She is now our go to for home pet care. Thank you Maddy for putting our minds at ease and letting us enjoy our vacation fully.”

“Meah is a phenomenal pet sitter. Not only is she professional. She is extremly attentive and communicates well. Even when weather was bad (snow and ice) she made every effort to ensure she stayed on schedule (which she did). I would recommend Meah to anyone and I will use her again if she is available.”

“Thank you, Skyler, for a job well done. Kitties greeted me at the door when I returned and they couldn't stop talking about Skyler. Seriously, Skyler texted me when she arrived and sent a picture. The picture was a real trick as both cats are shy. Kitties were fed, given fresh water and litter scooped. Perfect!”

“Leigh did such a great job, she cuddled and took care of my baby Calix everyday once I been out of town, also helped to get delivered packages inside (5 real big boxes), plus clean trash bin on time… the house was quite neat when I stepped in… thx for all her efforts…. Calix missing her…”

About: I’ve had 15 years of experience in taking care of other people’s pets as well as having my own, I had a small business with my sister but we eventually stopped for her to pursue babysitting instead. I have worked with a variety of animals and have some basic knowledge from my previous job at petsmart, I know this site is for cats and dogs but I am also willing to do other animals as well. I do have some training in dog grooming from my job, but I am only comfortable with bathing and drying off. My best time for scheduling would be from 9 AM to 3 PM, anything else I really cannot fit into my schedule due to personal commitments. I suppose my best way to answer this is to love them. I love animals, and I know animals are not all the same. They need specific care and specific needs met, and every one of those looks different for each animal. One of the best things I can do as a pet sitter is to provide the care needed, and to show the attention needed as well. Instructions and expectations are set for a reason, and I am willing to follow any one of those to ensure your animals are taken care of to the best of my ability.

“Brenda was awesome! She took lots of photos and made me feel at ease being away from my sweet girl, Maple. She was very easy to work with and responded quickly. I’m so glad I chose her and knew she would be the right choice! Highly recommend 🤗”

“The first experience was so great, we had to make sure we got Nicole again. This was a shorter time period, but Bella seemed really happy and comfortable sharing her space (especially since she's now familiar with Nicole) and communication was super easy.”

“I am a first time user of Rover. Abby helped take care of our two cats while we are out of town. She visited 4 times; once every 12 hours to feed them and clean the litter. She was nice enough to vacuum to mudroom where the litter boxes are located. We will be repeat customers for sure.”

About: I have 9+ years of experience working as a dog walker and carer. I also volunteered at a dog rescue for an additional 2 years. I've worked with dogs of all sizes and with all sorts of personalities and physical limitations. Each dog requires their own individual attention based on their upbringing, age, and physical capabilities. I am patient and affectionate with dogs and love taking them outdoors to stretch their legs and explore the world. I hope you will consider me as your dog's next new friend. I live in a house with a small fenced yard, but take my dogs (and will take your fur baby) on several walks every day. I feed my dogs on their schedule and can easily follow your dog's schedule, being mindful of his/her specific needs. When boarding your dog at my home, your pup will be treated as lovingly as mine. I cuddle, play, and exercise with the dogs. I make sure your dog is happy while you're away, and I send a lot of pictures and videos. I know I would love the same if my dog were in your hands. I generally do Rover walks Mondays-Wednesdays in Alexandria. I host dogs for daycare or boarding at my house in Manassas on Wednesday nights through Sunday nights. Your fur baby is in great hands at my home. I give lots of pets and cuddles, as well as taking your pup out to stretch his/her legs. I have a two dogs who enjoy playing tug and chase with new furry friends. There's also a shy cat who lives in the house, so your dog has to be good with cats.

“Emma went above and beyond to take care of my Pooffy. I was away from home, outside of US for.more than a month. She prompty stepped in and took the best care of my fur son. She is very well communicative, fun and loved pooffy a lot. Very aptient and always ready to support the pet parents. I have been taking her services several times and definitely can vouch for her! 🌷🌷”

“Our kitties are our furry children. Not only are they spoiled but we also have one that requires meds twice daily and not at an hour that anyone would want to be chasing a cat with medication. Katey took on the mission and finished it beautifully. At my request, she came over before hand to meet everyone and continued that while we were away. She even got to see one of our children that normally hides from the world. Somehow Katey was able to find her, put her food nearby and even got a picture! Cannot say enough great things about this sitter! She updated me with pics and texts as well.”

“Kristin was awesome! We were vacationing from out of state and needed someone to walk our dog while we attended a concert in the area. But more importantly, he needed medication at a very specific time. Kristin really helped to ease our minds while we were away from Oliver and he really enjoyed her company.”

“Jennifer took great care of our pups while we were out of town. We didn’t have to worry about a thing! She came to the house to meet them as soon as we booked and took great care to attend to their needs. I would recommend Jennifer to any pet owner. Thank you!”

Betty G.
“Betty is one of the most caring and considerate individuals I know. She has a huge heart, and is always there when you need her (whether you're furry or otherwise)! Growing up she had a plethora of pets, including several cats and dogs. I would trust her completely with my own dog, as I know she would give 110% of herself to make sure he was comfortable and happy. She'd make a wonderful animal sitter!”

Deanna W.Star Sitter
“Deanna has had her dog for a while now, and I know of how she has cared for others. Even when she took in one dog that had pretty extreme behavioral issues she still put all of her energy to ensure that it received as much care as possible. I cannot imagine anyone more well-equipped or more patient to handle dogs and the particular requirements each dog may bring. She is extremely caring, but also understands that some dogs require training and boundaries to ensure that they are properly exercised and stimulated mentally.”
