“Typically we book overnights with Jennifer with plenty of lead time. However, we had a death in the family and needed to travel out of state. I contacted Jennifer hoping she would at least be able to do a couple of drop ins/walks during our overnight. We were fortunate to book an overnight for the care of our pooch Fiona, and parrot, Wanda. Even during this short stay, Jennifer continued to work with Fiona on her leash manners, entering and exiting doors politely, and recall. Fiona and Wanda are regulars of Jennifer's, and we couldn't be happier!”

About: I started doing house sitting/pet sitting through families I cared for as a pre school teacher. It has grown to: “second families”, friends, co workers, references, etc. As sad as it is, I’ve also sat for animals in extremely poor medical conditions. This included going to the vet for meds. I had to gather a planner to keep track and trauma how I knew I was ready to begin doing more and more :) As I am writing this, I’m house sitting for a former co-worker. “Highly, highly recommend Megan! Megan cared for our dog, like he was her own for the last week. She sent tons of pictures along the way, so we could see he was happy! She took him on adventures (which we said was great to do), walks, and lots of cuddles. She also helped with a shipment of frozen dog food that was supposed to arrive before we left. Our dog was sad to see her leave. We’ll definitely use Megan again!”

About: We have two dogs ourselves, both with special attention needed. Whether your pet has allergies, people shyness, behavior issues and more, we have grown accustomed to that and realize that all animals deserve the same love, and we plan to provide that. We have experience with senior dogs, medications needing to be given on a schedule, bathing, playing, and lots of options for toys and treats. All that said, no need is too large as your pet deserves the same level of care as you would give to your family, because they are your family. When you go on vacation, your dog should get their own vacation as well! We both grew up around dogs from a very young age and have enjoyed the companionship of other animal types as well, from fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, and more. Pet care is our daily routine. We both are blessed enough to be home throughout the entirety of the day whether that be working from home or being lucky enough to help make the home. We purposefully installed a fence for our house so that our dogs could run around and play, so your pet will get that exact same treatment. We have a quiet secluded neighborhood with lots of walking room and places to sniff, and seat protectors in the cars for on the go if your dog likes to see the world. Pup cups, dog parks, new places are all within reason.

“Julie watched our three pets for four nights while we were out of town and did a wonderful job. It was not the easiest situation as we have a highly anxious dog who is slow to warm up to new people and a high needs, elderly cat. We were worried about finding somebody to do all of the things involved in making it a stress free weekend for the animals, but Julie seemed to work magic and everyone was happy and well cared for while we were gone. Her communication was great and it was nice to get updates and know that I was OK back at home. We arrived home to happy animals and a very tidy house, which we greatly appreciated. We will definitely have Julie over again the next time we go out of town. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was 10. Whether it be my own or my neighbors. I love to take walks and I treat all dogs with love as if they were my own.
