Dog Walkers in Windfall, OH

About: I've had up to 6 dogs in my household at a time. I'm no stranger to cleaning up after them and making sure they are well exercised. I'm also no stranger to conflict. I'm willing to work hard no matter how difficult a pet is. I have a part time job that I work on Full Fridays and Saturday afternoon/evening, so at the moment, I have lots of free time. I have Church on Sunday mornings and other church events Mondays in the evening. I have sufficient and reliable transportation, and I'm more than happy to take your pets to the park, my car is pet friendly. (Prices vary depending on miles driven)

When caring for pets in a client’s home, my first priority is to follow any instructions left by the owner to ensure consistency and comfort for the pets. If no specific routine is outlined, I start by letting the dogs outside for a potty break, then make sure everyone is fed, has fresh water, and is relaxed. If the owner requests walks, I’ll happily take the dogs out for some exercise, or let them back outside for more fresh air and movement. I always check litter boxes, clean up any messes, and give each pet some individual attention and playtime before I leave. My goal is to keep your pets feeling safe, loved, and stress-free while you’re away—just like they would with you!

I’m currently studying at the University of Virginia where I spend my free time housesitting and dog walking! I'm looking for a fun way to explore my city this summer while making some furry friends in the process! So I'm happily able to assist with walking, house-sitting, or visiting your dog(s) during any time you need assistance during your busy day. I have experience working with both my large dogs as well as small dogs. Regardless of the size of your pet, I’d love the opportunity to spend some time with them. I am quite playful, and I love going for long walks. I currently work remote full-time, so I can give your dog the care and attention they need in gaps in my schedule. I am also able to stay the night, too. Coming into one's home is an act of trust and a privilege, and it’s not one that I take lightly. I intend to respect the needs and privacy of my clients as well as leave the place in the same or better state when I leave. If you have any plants, I’m also a plant parent and happy to water them as needed. Back at home, I normally take my dogs out for walks a few times a day and play with them whenever they need to burn off any energy. I’ll be sure to do this as needed with your dogs, as well!

About: Fresh out of law school and now studying for the Ohio Bar I’m unable to have my own dog (but love my cats) so I want to help look after someone else’s! I grew up with our family shepard mix, Cocoa, and I’ve always watched friends and family pets - old dogs, puppies, fish, kittens, etc. I love animals and exercise so I’m looking to combine the two. I’m training for a marathon so if you think your dog had the energy let’s talk about getting her out on some runs! Early morning or evenings - possibly afternoons during the summer. I normally run in the morning so if your dog wants to run (and we discuss that) it would likely be a morning. Dog walking in particular truly depends on the owner and dog. I’m willing to go with whatever your pet is feeling that day or whatever you normally do! I have found, from past experience, that more structured walks are safer for everyone involved, but really whatever you and your pet prefer is what I’ll adapt to!
