About: I love rescues, seniors, energetic dogs, loafers and grumpy pets. I call all dogs pups, no matter how old they are. With a scared or unsure dog, I don’t try to force a friendship. I’m happy to sit with them, keep them company and let them decide when they’re ready. I worked for several years at a local veterinary practice and about two years in an emergency veterinary hospital, working with dogs, cats and birds. I’ve had dogs and cats throughout my life, including adult rescues. I also have farm-sitting experience with chickens, ducks, geese, quail, rabbits, turtles, pigs, sheep, goats and turkeys, and have spent time around cattle, zebras, donkeys and horses. My schedule is currently very flexible, with plenty of time for the dogs in my care. Most days include outside time, walks, play, meals, hanging out and plenty of time to relax. I’m happy to follow the routine your dog is used to at home. We have a spacious fenced-in backyard and one friendly, active senior dog who enjoys having company. Pet care - At the meet and greet, you discuss everything your pet needs including meal times, medicines, bathroom breaks, behaviors, etc. She works hard to ensure your pet receives the best care. Our dog is not left alone and gets plenty of attention which he loves. 3. Exercise - She takes our dog outside for bathroom breaks and walks. He also gets plenty of exercise playing with her dog and any other dogs in her care. Our pup comes home tuckered out! Cons: 1. Your dog may not want to leave! I’m the sole provider and semi retired and like to keep active walking and caring for animals. About: I love rescues, seniors, energetic dogs, loafers and grumpy pets. I call all dogs pups, no matter how old they are. With a scared or unsure dog, I don’t try to force a friendship. I’m happy to sit with them, keep them company and let them decide when they’re ready. I worked for several years at a local veterinary practice and about two years in an emergency veterinary hospital, working with dogs, cats and birds. I’ve had dogs and cats throughout my life, including adult rescues. I also have farm-sitting experience with chickens, ducks, geese, quail, rabbits, turtles, pigs, sheep, goats and turkeys, and have spent time around cattle, zebras, donkeys and horses. My schedule is currently very flexible, with plenty of time for the dogs in my care. Most days include outside time, walks, play, meals, hanging out and plenty of time to relax. I’m happy to follow the routine your dog is used to at home. We have a spacious fenced-in backyard and one friendly, active senior dog who enjoys having company. I’ll want to know what your dog is used to at home — meals, sleeping, crate routine, favorite spots and anything that helps them feel comfortable. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and bed here.

I received so many videos and photos of her playing in their backyard and getting love from the whole family. I was even a little nervous she wasn’t going to want to come back home with me after seeing how much fun she was having! Absolutely booking with them again!”
