About: As a psychiatric nurse, I offer gentle, attentive care to people in vulnerable moments. I bring the same calm, respectful presence to the pets I care for. Their feelings and situations are accounted for while I tend to their personal needs. I work part-time on an as needed basis and can work around the schedules of my clients. Available on short notice, including nights, and 12-24 hours' notice is preferred. I have a lightly fenced yard and two friendly dogs. A canine guest may be offered crating for sleep, or they are welcome to bring their own bed. Must be cat friendly. If caring for a pet in a client's home, care will be provided in their own environment precisely as they are used to.

About: I have taken care of cats, dogs, Small animals like mice, guinea pigs, fish, turtles. All way to farm animals like sheep, goats and even horses. Due to growing up in small town farming community. Currently I am supervising and helping my teenage daughter care for multiple miniature and full size horses in Leverett MA. I also have two wonderfully spoiled cats and a dog at home. Have some openings in evening and most weekends as at this time I do have a full time 9-5 job. Looking to see where this goes. I do not have fenced in yard but I keep my current dog on tie out or 50ft lead. Very quiet not normally traveled area around house with big yard to play. At clients home depends on environment there. Would prefer no off leash unless securely fenced area.

About: I have walked dogs of all different sizes, ages & breeds. I have also administered medications ( oral & topical ), changed bandages. I've loved animals my entire life & my client's pups/pets become "my" pets..in other words, I love them like they were my own. * I prefer to do "Meet & Greets" with potential clients and their pets prior to taking the "job", so not only do I and the pets get to meet, but the pet parent(s) & I can also meet & discuss any schedules, routines, etc. as well as go over any questions. I want to not only be comfortable with them, but I want the pet parent(s) & of course, the pets, to be comfortable with me as well. P.S. I’ve worked in many horse barns in my 20’s, so don’t hesitate to reach out for help ( even if it’s a one time thing :) I’m pretty available due to being on Social Security ( due to a major car accident in 2009), so I do this to not only supplement my income but because I love animals & it also helps me in multiple ways ( mentally, physically, etc.) I treat your home like my home in the sense that I become protective of the space ( & pets of course), I don’t like random people showing up/trying to enter the home without my hearing Directly from the homeowner. After I’m familiar w/ the way things typically are ( ex. what vehicle(s) are routinely there/not there then a “random” vehicle is suddenly there, I will be suspicious & notify the pet parent/home owner right away to make sure it’s ok to be there).

When I was in college, every vacation was overshadowed with the concern: who will look after Moxie (my fish) while I'm gone? Who will change her water, check its temperature, problem-solve if the power goes out and her tank heater turns off, etc.? It was always a worry. Now that I have my beloved rabbits, I need to prioritize a bunny-sitter before I can even go to the ER! That's why I know you worry about your pets and want a trustworthy, reliable, and animal-loving pet-sitter to be there for them. I'll prioritize your pets' care throughout the day - then again, they are living beings with feelings and emotions like ours! And I love animals; I would love to look after yours just the same way wonderful, generous people have stepped up to look after mine! I have cat-sat, dog-sat, and had a beloved dog, Ricky, of happy and nostalgic memory, when I was a teen-ager. Currently, I have a free schedule. I am a teacher on summer break, excited to use my free time to be with animals (hopefully yours)! Your pets will be safe and comfortable in the familiarity of their own home. About: I have been around all different kinds of animals since I was a child and have always had a special love for them. All pets deserve unconditional love and kindness, and I am here to help with that! I am working full time from home and am able to adjust my lunch break for pets that need a walk or need someone to check in on them! I am available after 5 on weekdays and am completely free on weekends. Each pet has their own personality, so care will need to be adjusted to meet the needs of each pet.
