About: I’ve taken care of many dogs as a child and adult, my own dogs as well as those of family and friends. I’d love to help your pet stretch their legs, burn some energy or go on a casual walk My remote with schedule is very flexible so I’m able to come care for your dog on the schedule that fits their needs as well as yours. I can feed your pet, have some play time, take them out to use the bathroom, or go on a walk. If they are crated when you aren’t home, I can crate them too.

About: My first job in high school was working at a dog day care/boarding facility! I worked there for a little over 2 years before I went to college. I learned a lot about dog behavior, grooming, and overall care for dogs. Before I was able to get a job when I was younger I would walk my neighbors’ dogs. I also grew up with Labrador Retrievers and currently my family has a 6 year old black lab named Tanner! I’m currently a college student on summer break so my availability is very open! I also work at green garden country club so occasionally I will be busy. I have always loved animals but especially dogs. I loved growing up with dogs, birds, and fish. As someone who has worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility, I have hands on experience caring for dogs with all kinds of personalities and energy levels! I love making pets feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, and lots of updates and photos so you can feel relaxed.
“Bridgitt was excellent. She made a trip over to our home to meet us and Fozzie. She is delightful and we all felt so comfortable with her. Fozzie took to her right away. She took notes and was all prepared to come back later and walk Fozzie! She kept us informed, letting us know when she arrived, where they walked, how often he peed, and sent us pics! We were so impressed. We highly recommend Bridgitt and we will have her again.”

“Alyssa’s bf, Drew, was an excellent dog walker for my dog! I requested an hour walk but he was m unable to due to time constrains so he offered to run with my dog during the 30 mins they spent together. Drew was on time, communicative, and took great care of my pup. It was unfortunate that he had to leave the city for work for a couple of months but I’d book them again!!”

About: I am experienced with caring for multiple different types of animals, mainly dogs and cats. I ran a small animal sitting business, caring for families and friends pets and I decided to take my services to Rover! I have had family dogs my entire lives and have experience training puppies as well as kittens. I work from home currently which leaves lots of open availability throughout the day and night to care for your pets! I can accommodate walks, frequent check-ins, overnight stays and more! First and foremost, all instructions for caring for the animal inside the home left by the owner will be respected and closely followed. I maintain cleanliness and leave the homes exactly as I found them!
About: I have had animals apart of my life since I was born! Although we do not currently own any pets since we love to travel we love taking part of pet sitting and dog walking! We started asking our neighbors if we could spend some time with their pups after seeing our son was scared of dogs as a simple way to help introduce him into the world of joy that comes with owning a dog. And throughout the process we got to meet so many different dogs and fell in love with learning all the different personalities and quirks each dog had. Since my fiancé and I both work from home we thought why not look into doing this more regularly! Which lead us to joining Rover! So here we are ready to help our neighbors with any of their pet needs! Looking forward to spoiling your fur babies! From my pack to yours, I can’t wait to hear from you! It's important to note that every pet is unique, and their individual needs may vary. Owners should tailor their routines to accommodate their pet's specific requirements, age, breed, and health conditions. Flexibility and adaptability are key to ensuring the well-being and happiness of your pet within your daily or weekly schedule. Initial consultation: Meet with the client to discuss their pet's routine, dietary needs, medical history, and any specific instructions. Take note of emergency contact information and inform the client about your availability. Maintain the pet's routine: Stick to the pet's established schedule for feeding, walking, playtime, and medication administration, if required. Consistency helps reduce stress for the pet. Safety and security: Ensure that the home is secure and that the pet cannot escape. Keep an eye out for potential hazards, such as open windows, toxic substances, or small objects that the pet could ingest. Exercise and play: Provide the pet with sufficient exercise and mental stimulation according to their needs. Take dogs for walks, engage them in play, or follow any specific exercise routines requested by the client. Food and water: Follow the client's instructions regarding feeding schedules, portion sizes, and dietary restrictions. Ensure that fresh water is always available. Monitoring and interaction: Spend quality time with the pet, offering companionship, affection, and socialization. Observe their behavior, appetite, and overall well-being, reporting any concerns to the client.
About: I have taken care of all sizes and temperaments of animals for 6 years, no one is too much to handle! I am very gentle, playful, loving, and energetic; i tailor myself to the pet's specific personality to make them feel comfortable as possible while their parents are away! As a bus driver, I am available to care for your pet(s) between 10am-1pm, then after 5pm on any given week day. All weekend I can give completely undivided attention! I also have every holiday break and all of summer vacation off. I am only open to sitting at other people's home's; i do not have the space, facilities, or amiable enough cat to take in new animals as it stands! As for clients homes, I am capable of taking care of up to 5-7 animals at one time from experience. Care can look like oral medicine administration needs, basic grooming schedules, potty training clean-up, as many walks as needed, and even weighing out food/having specific foods per animal if necessary!
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 12. Always growing up with 3+ large dogs in my home. I also have helped my sister in the past fostering dogs and finding strays. I currently do not have a full time job and am available pretty much 24/7. I am very flexable and can work around your schedule! I do not care for pets in my personal home but when I am a client's home I am sure to keep a daily routine with the pets and keep them up to there usual activity level.
About: The biggest thing that I believe sets me apart from other pet sitters is my knowledge of psychology and behavior which in turn allows me to connect and tend to the needs of animals. I have been told many times that I am the only stranger that their pet gets along with! I also am a part time caretaker for my grandfather. My responsibilities often include cleaning, shopping, and cooking. I really enjoy it. Lastly, I volunteered at a farm in Oregon for about 3 months back around early 2022. I was routinely in charge of many tasks relating to the care of animals including feeding chickens, cleaning the chicken coop, periodically moving cows to fresh pasture...etc. I am currently attending college online and work a part-time job. Taking care of animals on my own time works very well for me and I enjoy it a lot! I have been the primary owner of my 3 year old pug named Captain up until a year ago when I started to live with my grandfather to take care of him. Due to various factors, Captain now primarily stays at my parents' house (15 min away) which works out very well for everybody. I often have him over and also watch him at my parents' house when nobody is around. I take him out whenever he scratches at the door and take him on at least one walk a day. In between his meals I will give him snacks in exchange for tricks! That being said, if you are teaching your dog certain things, I would be glad to do my part in teaching as well! Last thing that I believe is very important would be cleaning off the paws with a towel after letting my dog outside when it’s muddy and wet outside.

About: I love animals and am very dependable. I have had pets my whole life and love them! Take your next trip of vacation stress free know your pets are being well taken care of . I am able to work with your schedule for the best fit possible! please contact me if you feel I am a good fit for your need or if you have any questions! I am looking forward to hearing from you!
About: I’ve lived with and taken care of cats, dogs, and exotic pets my whole life. I’ve been responsible for bathing, walking, giving them food and water, scooping litter boxes, clipping nails, and everything else your pet will need since I could walk. I’ve also pet sat for friends and family before, overnight or just for a check-in. I love spending time with my animals and I hope I get to meet yours too! I’m currently a student at USC, go Gamecocks! On MWF, my classes end at 2 so I am free anytime after that. Tuesdays and Thursdays are a little more spread out, however I should be able to stop in almost whenever to watch your pet! I am totally free on the weekends and can do anything but boarding your pet. Back at my house, I always make sure to be aware of my surroundings if I am outside, watching for other dogs, cars, other animals, or people. I will carry this same caution when taking care of your animals, whether in the home or outside of it!
“Hey there. My name is pattie and Jordan came to walk both of my dogs. He was great! His communication couldn’t have been any better. My dogs are like my children, so I love to know when he arrives, leaves and filled the dog bowls with food and water. He was very attentive. I will gladly be rebooking in the future.”

About: Hi my name is Asia. I’m really excited to have extra income but I’m more in it for the loving animals. Animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets to care for. I have two bearded dragons, two cats, one dog, and one fish. In the mornings I go to the gym and after I’m pretty much open throughout the day until school starts, which is in the beginning of January. Feeding and watering animals,Playing with them and keeping them company, Walking the dogs, Grooming and brushing the animals' coats, Changing the cat's litter box, Providing health care if necessary. Giving them affection, so they don't feel abandoned after their owner leaves.
About: I've owned a cat for 10 years now and in those years I taught her how to sit and high five. I also grew up with animals in my household since I was born. I've sitted my grandpas dog for a week at his house while he was away and took care of my moms dog for a weekend. I also volunteered at a few shelters, the most recent one being NAWS. I just got a new job so my schedule for January is currently unknown. They still need to get back on me for the date that ill start but itll be 5 days a week for 8 hours a day when it does. While I'm at the client's home I would treat their pets as if they were my own. In my household I always make sure to spend as my time with my cat as I can. With my cat I fill up her bowl and when it gets low I usually fill it once more, this is because she doesn't eat much in a day and never finishes. If the client has a certain feeding schedule I would make sure to feed the animal at the times the client requires. With a dog I would take them on walks atleast twice a day, if the client doesn't have a yard or has a certain walk schedule for their animal I would take them on as many walks as needed. With cats depending on how long the client is gone I will make sure the litter is cleaned once a day and replace it every week.
About: I have had dogs and cats in my life for as long as I can remember. I am just starting my Rover journey and cannot be more excited! I am comfortable around all dogs and willing to adapt and learn what is best for your pet. I will take care of your fur baby, go for walks, and even take them to dog parks if you like. I have two dogs of my own and a cat that believes he owns the house, lol. My schedule is flexible, and I can drop in and accept last-minute bookings. I am currently looking for my next adventure, and why not do something that I enjoy? I have quite a bit of free time during the day and would be more than happy to spend it looking after your cat or dog :) I live on five acres with a fenced-in backyard, plenty of space for dogs to be outside and run around and play. They're favorite on a nice day, just soaking up the sun!

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
