About: I've grown up with multiple dogs and pets my entire life, so caring for animals has always been a part of who I am. I got my own dog while I was in college two years ago, and she is truly my pride and joy. Being a pet owner has shown me how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your furry family member. About: I have watched over many of my friends and families pets. The dogs I have watched in the past have been moderately large, and could be a bit wild at times but I was able to keep hold of the situation. I have also accompanied my family and friends when they had taken care of pets for other families. I had helped train a very wild pup for a friend, as well as a basic command which was sit. I absolutely love animals and even went to a program in high school for them. I am currently free during most times of the week. I am currently attending HCC, my classes being on Monday and Wednesday and do not stretch late into the day. I am very available to watch your pups or kitties! I can come during the mornings or evenings during the week depending on the day. I am also available to house sit. I care for them by learning their needs and wants first in their home. I understand every animal is unique and needs to be cared for in a way that works for them. I listen to the owner to ensure that everything will be safe and cared for in their absence.
About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 8. I’ve had guinea pigs, dogs, and a rabbit. My family currently has one rabbit, Thumper. He is the best! We also have three wonderful dogs…two English cream golden retrievers, Remi and Raven, and a spunky beagle named Snoopy! About: I've been fostering dogs and cats since 2013, I've done pet sitting for 5 years, and I worked at an animal boarding facility for a little over a year. I can give medication, and I have experience with all sorts of pets. I currently work part time, so I have quite a bit of time to stop by and check on your pet. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
