“Cody was awesome. We have a large male German shepherd who is scared of his own shadow and he gave Cody a run for his money the first few days. Cody was very accommodating and took him a day early so we could leave for our vacation early. He sent me a picture just about every day. Communication was an A plus, We messaged everyday and he was quick to reply back. Very friendly. I know they went for some very long walks which my boy needed and loved. Thank you Cody. Your fur babies will be in Excellent hands, safe and well taken care of with the very nice young man.”

“Our dog, Roux, stayed with Tifaney and family while we were away on spring break, recently. She did an exceptional job of sending photos which allowed us to know our dog was happy and thriving. Tifaney and her kids were amazing caretakers and I could tell that Roux had a great stay. Thanks, Tifaney, we’ll definitely be in touch when we need a sitter for our next trip.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 12 years old. We’ve always had pets growing up, so I took part in walking, feeding, bathing, and loving many dogs. I even raised puppies when our dog had her own, bottle fed them, and trained them. We also have a golden retriever who I spend a lot of time loving on! I’m a nurse so I have several days off a week, but the days I am free vary! I know the days I’m scheduled to work months in advance, and it is pretty much set. We live in an apartment that is safe and pet friendly. It’s on the first floor. I’m very mindful of your space and taking care of your pup by your rules and what works best for him/her!
About: Hi! I’m Taylor, and I’d love to care for your dog as if they were part of our family. I’ve been a dog owner and animal lover my entire life, and caring for pets has always been something I genuinely enjoy. My husband and I have a sweet, friendly Goldendoodle who loves other dogs, and we have a fully fenced backyard where pups can safely play, explore, and burn off energy throughout the day. I work from home full-time with a flexible schedule, so your dog will receive plenty of attention—not just before and after work. Whether your pup enjoys long walks, playing fetch, lounging on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, I’m able to adapt to their normal routine and provide companionship throughout the day. I also offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and boarding. I’m comfortable caring for adult dogs, senior dogs, and pets who need daily medication. We can crate your dog if that’s part of their routine, and our home has baby gates available if your pup needs their own quiet space. Because we have a toddler, I do ask that dogs staying in our home are comfortable around young children and friendly with other dogs. My goal is to create a calm, safe environment where everyone feels comfortable.

About: I love dogs!! For all of my friends and family, I am the designated sitter if I’m available. I’ve taken care of dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. I love playing outside with them and helping get them sleepy for their people- I know how much it helps to have the zoomies set free for our friends. I work remotely from home, so I am flexible. I know how important those potty breaks and walks are throughout the day, so I would love to help. I will definitely use any and all safety precautions you suggest! Whether your dog needs to be leashed at all times, closely watched during playtime/meals, or handled closely while on walks, I will follow your rules. I want to keep myself, your dog, and anyone we meet along walks safe.

About: Hello! I’m a life long animal lover and owner who understands that every furry friend has their own specific needs. Whatever your pet needs, I’m always happy to accommodate and ensure they feel safe, happy, and taken care of. I’ve taken care of family and friends animals all my life. From bunnies to Saint Bernard’s I’ve seen just about everything. I’m a college student that lives close to campus, so even with classes, I’ll be able to ensure your furry friend is taken care of! I am currently a softball player in college. While my weekdays can be a little busy, I live close to campus and have few in-person classes. Because of softball practice, I am not home for 3-4 hours most afternoons. I have an open yard and live walking distance from the Pulaski dog park. Your pet will have inside and outside time with ample opportunities to play, potty, and relax. I have a 2 year old female Lab in the home that loves to play and is quite energetic. Your pet will be cared for as one of my own and will be blessed with toys, treats, company, and love. I will openly accommodate your pets needs as I know every pet is different.

About: Hi! My name is Alyssa, and I’m 19 year old college student with years of experience owning and caring for dogs. I’ve grown up around dogs and have always been very involved in their daily care, including feeding, walking, playing, and making sure they feel safe and loved. I’m very active and truly enjoy long walks and playtime, so your dog will get plenty of exercise and attention. I also own a large dog myself, so I’m comfortable handling bigger breeds and understand the responsibility that comes with them. I absolutely love puppies and have the patience and energy needed to help them feel comfortable and cared for. While I don’t offer overnight stays, I’m reliable, attentive, and happy to follow any instructions you provide to keep your dog’s routine consistent. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and comfort are my top priorities, and I’ll treat them as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! Pet care fits easily into my routine. I do have classes on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, but I’m flexible and available the rest of the week to meet your pet’s needs. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and safe. During visits, I make sure they’re fed on time, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise, and receive lots of attention and affection. I’m comfortable handling large dogs and energetic puppies, and I always prioritize safety, cleanliness, and your pet’s happiness while in my care.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Wilson Hill home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Wilson Hill.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Wilson Hill sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
