About: We have taken care of many Dogs over the years between the 2 of us. No special trainings or skills just basic training with lots of patients and love We both work from home 8am to 5pm. So we are here for your puppers through the week. We both have weekends off. We have part of the front/side of our yard fenced. I also have an invisible fence that can be used if your dog is trained on it. I take 2 15min breaks and half hour lunch during the week. Can take them to Krull Park that is nearby after I get done with work, and on the weekends. Go out have fun. We got you! We have a fenced in yard in the side/front of the house. We also have deep steaks with long cable leashes for them to roam around on the other part of the yard. If your dog is trained on an invisible fence, we have one also with a extra collar. Will never take them off leash unless they are in the fence, on the cable, or in the house.
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10 STARS - ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE! We traveled from the U.S. to Canada over the holidays and booked Andreas through Rover to watch our puppy during our international travels. We had the best experience with him! From the beginning, Andreas was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. We felt safe and comfortable with him right away. As a gay couple, meeting strangers can sometimes feel daunting for me and my wife for safety reasons. Andreas was nothing but warm, friendly, and respectful toward us. When we arrived, his home was absolutely charming, with a cozy holiday atmosphere and a beautiful Christmas tree. He captured our puppy by the tree in stunning photos, and they looked professional — we felt like we had a complimentary holiday photo shoot! Most importantly, Andreas was gentle and attentive with our usually anxious puppy. She likes to be held when she’s in a new place, and Andreas patiently sat with our puppy in his lap for hours until she felt completely at ease. He made sure she was comfortable throughout the duration of her stay and even offered helpful advice when we asked. Throughout her stay, Andreas sent updates that were reassuring without ever feeling overwhelming to us. We highly recommend Andreas! If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and gifted with animals, he’s the one! We would book with him again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Andreas!”

“We were in NOTL for vacation and needed a dogsitter while we took an all day tour. Paula was most helpful in watching our Roxy while we were gone all day. She communicated frequently with us and gave us updates on how Roxy was doing. She even sent photos of Roxy snuggling with her. She obviously is a dog (and cat) lover. We would definitely use Paula again for our petsitting needs.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 17 years and have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, and care for their pets as if they were my own. I’m attentive to routines, leash safety, and each dog’s individual needs — whether that means a long, energetic walk or a slower, more relaxed pace. I’m especially patient with dogs who are nervous, shy, or need a calm presence, and I always prioritize safety, comfort, and positive experiences. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine, and I’ve set aside dedicated time for dog walks! I’m flexible with weekday walks and happy to accommodate regular weekly schedules as well as occasional walks when needed. I focus on being punctual, reliable, and consistent so your dog can count on a familiar routine🐾 Your dog’s safety is always my top priority! I follow leash safety at all times, pay close attention to body language, and tailor each walk to your dog’s comfort and energy level. I’m careful with weather conditions, traffic, and surroundings, and I treat every dog and home with respect. I’ll always follow your instructions and provide thoughtful updates after each walk!
About: If you have decided to keep your pets at home, where they are most comfortable, hire a person who will shower them with love and keep them safe. I'm retired from banking and loving the simple life, enjoying what I truly love.... caring for pets. Besides caring for my own pets, home, and family. I am available all days and will do my best to meet your needs. My three precious furbabbies-a very funny cat-Miss Kitty and two Pomskys-Sheeba & Earl-are my pride and joy. My Pomskys are escape artists which makes me hyper-aware. I understand the importance of protecting them and ensuring their safety. I love all fur babies with all my heart and treat them like children. I love to walk my dogs along the Niagara Falls Gorge trail and ArtPark in Lewiston. I have a bike trailer and take my dog and cat for rides.
“Carol is such a sweet lady and a true dog lover. She is hard to beat. I wish all Rover’s were this kind, loving and caring. She truly cares. She played with Murmaid all day, I could tell, because when my baby got in the vehicle she went right to sleep and that never happens with this high energy Boston Terrier 10 month old. I highly recommend her. She is amazing. She sent pics and communicated every day. Murmaid was pulling me to her door and pawing to get in for each drop off. Murmaid just loved her. I am making a special trip to come back through so Murmaid can spend a little more time with Carol. It was the best Rover experience I have ever had, and I use Rover all the time while traveling with my baby across the country.”

“Erica was absolutely wonderful. She made sure Millie had plenty of activities to do like walks, play mats, and treats. Pick up went seamlessly and she is very responsive and flexible. I appreciate her taking care of my dog!”

“My pup, Millie had an amazing time with Kelly and her family. There were other furry friends there making a fun day for all. Kelly had a great drop off and pick up system making it very easy. She follows all required directions if needed for the specific pups and has all items such as leashes, bowls, toys, etc... She has a great area outside for the pups to play in and she sends check in messages and videos of the pups which makes it a great feeling for myself (owners). I would definitely recommend her services and will be using her in the future.”

“Monique is lovely, she was absolutely punctual both at pickup and drop-off, and has a great energy about her. I could tell Archie really liked her, and so did I. She sent me many updates throughout the day, my Archie had the time of his life with her. 12/10 would trust her with my pet again, and I definitely, absolutely and inequivocaly recommend her services. Amazing experience all around. I'll be forever grateful to her for taking such good care of my boy.”

“Charlette accommodated our day care request last minute and took such great care of our dog! She was kind when we needed flexibility with drop off. She sent adorable pictures through the day, and our dog was so happy and tired on pick up. Highly recommend!”

About: Raised with the help of two Doberman “nannies,” in the home of a veterinarian. I was brought up in a home from tigers to monkeys and have a natural pull towards caring for all animals. Hi, I’m Raisa. I’ve lived with and cared for Dobermans, Dachshunds, Labradors, Australian Shepherds, Mixed Breeds, and now a senior Siberian Husky who adores other animals. I’ve raised puppies, supported seniors, and learned how to read a dog’s communication style quickly and intuitively. What sets me apart is the combination of: 🐾 A lifetime of hands‑on experience, including a course in Canine Science 🌿 A calm, confident presence 🎯 An ability to understand each dog’s unique personality and needs 🏡 A home environment that’s warm, structured, animal‑savvy and has a LARGE FENCED YARD Your pup will feel so understood and cared for, they’ll think of my home as their second home. I work from home full time so I will always be around hanging out with your pups from 8am-5pm and the evenings. Scroll down to "A Typical Day" to view their daily routine. I have a large fenced in yard and a very friendly female Siberian Husky who respects and loves fur babies of all sizes. Since our yard is large, we can accommodate multiple dogs at once if you have a large family. My pup is vaccinated and up-to date with flea, tick and heart worm meds. ATTENTION: No Indoor Marking Policy I cannot host dogs who mark indoors. Even small amounts of marking can damage flooring and trigger other dogs to do the same. If marking or repeated accidents occur, I will contact you for early pickup. Thank you for understanding and helping me maintain a safe, happy space for your pups.
“Stephanie did an amazing job taking care of our dog Apollo! This was our first time leaving him with anyone other than family and he loved it, but most importantly we were reassured that he was safe and doing well during the whole day. Stephanie sent us many videos and pictures of Apollo’s stay, which was amazing because we could see how much fun he was having! I will and already have booked multiple more doggy day care for Apollo with Stephanie and recommend anyone to do so too!”

“Charlene was amazing. My doggie is from the US and he now has a CA dog buddy name Dora & a special human friend Charlene🌷. She took such great care of Rocket. About: I’ve helped take care of dogs since I was 10. I helped train our Bernese Mountain Dog puppy at a young age, and played a great role in taking care of her for the next six years. I’ve dog sat and dog walked friends and families dogs plenty of times over the past few years. Some of these dogs were beagles, labradors, retrievers, and collies. I’m currently an undergraduate student, I only have two or three classes a day and then I’m available for the rest of the day! When I’m on school breaks, I work a part time job, giving me a lot of free time to watch your fur baby. My house has a fenced in yard making it easy to take out your pet. I have no other pets currently, ensuring you a safe environment if they’re at my home. I can easily put your pet in a crate if needed, and I’m very attentive!
“Jamie was amazing with our dog! She kept us updated with photos and messages, which we really appreciated. Our pup is usually very attached and gets anxious when we're not around, but with Jamie she was totally calm and happy! Would definitely make another booking!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 196 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Wilson. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Wilson commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 196 sitters in Wilson, 85% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
