My young puppy gets out of the car and runs to her which is reassuring when you’re leaving your dog in someone else’s care. Their facilities are well set up to accommodate multiple dogs, very clean and tidy, and they are well organized. I receive multiple photos and a doggy report card after every stay. Clearly a professional!”

About: I’ve had dogs and other various animals since I was a child. My first job in high school was at a pet boarding facility. While working there my love for animals grew. Ive pet sitted on and off since I left the kennel. I married a man who shared that love and we have 5 furbabies of our own! I’m currently a stay at home mom. I have a kindergartner, a 1 year old and 5 adult dogs. I spend my days taking care of my kids and dogs but wouldn’t have it any other way! My kids love playing with animals. If you choose us, we have all the time in the world to love on your babies! I have a few acres of land with a large fenced in back yard. Lots of room to run and play with our own dogs!

About: Dogs have been part of my family for as long as I can remember — they’re truly woven into the fabric of my life. After 15 years as a large animal and livestock farmer, I’ve handled every kind of surprise animals can throw at me — so I’m up for unusual circumstances. Your pup will have 10 fully fenced acres to explore, sniff, and zoom to their heart’s content. And they won’t be alone! I have four animal-loving kids who can’t wait to run, play, and snuggle with new furry friends. I work from home, and my kids are homeschooled so we are home most of the time, so we are available for potty breaks and snuggles throughout the day. During the school year we attend a homeschool co-op for much of the day Tuesday and Thursday. We have 10 fully fenced acres for safe, joyful exploring, plus two friendly dogs and four dog-savvy cats to keep your pup company. Crating is available if needed (especially for new potty trainers), but we love welcoming guest dogs right into our daily routine. Your dog can enjoy farm walks, endless ball throwing, and plenty of cozy couch time with us. They’ll feel like part of the family from day one!

Having worked for the CASPCA I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge about what it means for our pets to truly thrive and what they need to lead happy healthy lives. Our family treats your pet like they’re our own and make him/her feel right at home. They will spend their days with tons of enrichment activities; daily walks, tons of play time and endless snuggles if they’ll let me and so much more. I will get information from you about your preferences and schedule for your pet so I can mirror that while they are staying in our home. I will do everything possible to make your pet happy and comfortable while you are away!

I have prior experience in the veterinary field, so I believe that I have a better understanding and knowledge of the health and well being of an animal. I have had experience with multiple doctors in the preparation of animals before surgery that include: shaving the designated area of surgery, cleaning the surgical area, hooking vitals and oxygen tubes for the animal, carrying the animal to and from the surgical table to rehabilitation zones, etc. I also Interacted with the patients owner to receive information regarding their animal and was in charge of filling prescriptions and properly checking them out. I am currently working part time in the mornings so I have all day and all night to take care of your precious fur baby! I live on a private property with roughly 17 acres. The backside is fenced in however the front side is not but it is an open yard for plenty of fetch and playtime with your for babies. It is roughly 200 yards away from the main road, so no wondering into traffic around here! :)

About: I can't promise your pet(s) won't be spoiled! One level home with a playmate, our 17 yr old Dora, a 15 year old, sweet old aussie shepherd. I am retired and dogs are my passion. I am located in the George's Tavern area of Goochland. I am usually home daily. My schedule is flexible. We have a very large fenced yard. Your dog(s) will have room to explore inside and out. We can discuss any special needs. I have experience with all shapes, sizes and breeds, however, as much as I love them, I cannot handle bigger and stronger breeds; i.e., American bull dogs, pit bulls, great danes and German shepherds to name a few. Your dogs are my daily priority. I can schedule any time daily and I am open to a long-term boarding commitment when I am available. I have an additional smaller fenced area for smaller dogs and puppies. I have customers that found me through other avenues, and have outstanding reviews as I appear to have become Grandma to them. All will provide references. I give lots of time and attention to all dogs giving special loving attention to the aging beauties. They all need lots of love and often need special care.

I will look after your love ones will and make sure they are well loved while you’re away or just need a little me time.
