But Riley was exceptional from the very beginning. Even before I booked her, she helped me figure out how the app worked and made the whole process easy. During Pepe’s stay, she kept me 100% informed at all times with photos, videos, and messages. She was incredibly attentive, caring, and professional. About: Personalized Boarding & Doggy Daycare! Your dog will be treated like part of the family while you're away. I intentionally keep my numbers low so every guest receives plenty of individualized attention and supervision. I'm a homeschool mom, homemaker, and lifelong dog lover. My husband, two daughters, and three dogs make our home a fun, safe, and loving environment where someone is home most of the day. 🐾 Meet & Greets Required I require a free meet-and-greet before accepting new clients to ensure we're a great fit for each other. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! As a homemaker, I'm present for the majority of the day, which allows me to provide consistent attention, potty breaks, and playtime throughout your dog's stay. Every dog adjusts differently, and I have the ability to tailor my routine accordingly. Your dog's comfort and safety are central to how I care for every guest. I closely supervise interactions between guest and resident dogs, and I take time to understand each dog's temperament and needs before allowing unsupervised play. Meals are served separately to maintain a calm environment and avoid food-related tension. I'm happy to follow your dog's established feeding schedule, medication routine, or any additional care instructions you provide. At bedtime, I do my best to replicate your dog's normal setup, whether that's a crate, a dog bed, or another familiar arrangement, so they feel settled and secure throughout their stay.

About: When my rather difficult but beloved rescue passed away in November 2024, I realized for the first time how integral dogs are to living a happy and healthy life. In April 2025, I decided it was time to add a new addition to my family, and I now have a 7 month old female German Shepherd, Pilar (who I'm pretty sure is a Golden Retriever trapped in a Shepherd's body). Pilar is the most friendly dog you'll ever meet, and she LOVES to play with other dogs. I am constantly searching for quality day care for her, and I find it's difficult to find someone who is truly reliable and provides safe, clean, and comfortable care. So I've decided to take matters into my own hands and invite pups into my home. When your dog stays with me, she's going to enjoy all of the comforts she's accustomed to at home. Whether that be napping on the couch, playing in the fenced-in backyard, or lounging at my feet while I work from home. I even have a couple of crates if you'd prefer your pup enjoy crated nap time. I've had pets my entire life and have plenty of experience with animals of all types and all personalities, including damaged rescues. I've been through extensive training with Pilar and am happy to apply the skills I've learned when working with your dog, as well. My main goal with providing this service is to create an environment where pups who really enjoying playing with each other can do so safely and comfortably while enjoying the kind of care they're accustomed to at home. Please note that I have a 10 year old cat, and while she knows how to hold her ground with dogs, I cannot accept any pups who don't tolerate cats or who would put her safety at risk. I work from home full-time so pet care is woven into the fabric of my daily routine. I can support hourly potty breaks and am able to take frequent breaks for walks, playtime, mealtime, potty time, snuggles, etc. I have a fenced in yard where dogs will be let out for supervised play and potty breaks. Depending on the time of year and your preference, I have a small doggy pool so that dogs can play in the water to release energy. Indoors, dogs are welcome on the couch and on the dog beds. During nap time, I can crate your pup if you prefer, or she can be loose. The only place that's off limits are my two guest bedrooms.
About: Animals are a joy to me and always have been. It would be an honor if I were able to tend to them. Thank you for your time and looking at my profile! I look forward to speaking with you! I have prior experience in the veterinary field, so I believe that I have a better understanding and knowledge of the health and well being of an animal. I have had experience with multiple doctors in the preparation of animals before surgery that include: shaving the designated area of surgery, cleaning the surgical area, hooking vitals and oxygen tubes for the animal, carrying the animal to and from the surgical table to rehabilitation zones, etc. I also Interacted with the patients owner to receive information regarding their animal and was in charge of filling prescriptions and properly checking them out. I am currently working part time in the mornings so I have all day and all night to take care of your precious fur baby! I live on a private property with roughly 17 acres. The backside is fenced in however the front side is not but it is an open yard for plenty of fetch and playtime with your for babies. It is roughly 200 yards away from the main road, so no wondering into traffic around here! :)
About: I can't promise your pet(s) won't be spoiled! One level home with a playmate, our 17 yr old Dora, a 15 year old, sweet old aussie shepherd. I am retired and dogs are my passion. I am located in the George's Tavern area of Goochland. I am usually home daily. My schedule is flexible. We have a very large fenced yard. Your dog(s) will have room to explore inside and out. We can discuss any special needs. I have experience with all shapes, sizes and breeds, however, as much as I love them, I cannot handle bigger and stronger breeds.. Your dogs are my daily priority. I can schedule any time daily and I am open to a long-term boarding commitment when I am available. I have customers that found me through other avenues, and have outstanding reviews as I appear to have become Grandma to so many beloved pets I will provide references. I give lots of time and attention to all dogs giving special loving attention to the aging beauties. They all need lots of love and often need special care.
“Kirtly was very responsive, and gave a ton of feedbacks on the daycare session with our two dogs, one of which a 2 month old puppy. Will definitely book with Kirtly again.”

About: • Most dogs like me (and i like most dogs :)) • All energy levels welcomed • I have raised 4 dogs of my own • Bachelors degree in Veterinary Bioscience • Worked in the veterinary field for the past 4 years • I’m responsible and good at time management • Even with a busy schedule, I will make sure your dog gets the attention he/she needs • No dog intimidates me ( all breeds and sizes are welcome) • I will always have your dogs best interest at heart I have 4 dogs of my own; 2 husky mixes, 1 pittie mix, and 1 beagle. My fiancé and I take care of them together, but much of the day to day things fall onto my plate. So, I have 4 very different dogs with 4 different needs, wants, and energy levels. On top of this, I also work in the veterinary field and have for the past couple years. Taking care of animals is something I literally do 24/7 and absolutely love it. With my personal pets, I make sure that all of them get love every day. Also, I try and get them some type of exercise. Living in Virginia, the weather is the biggest challenge. We go from negative temperature to triple digits within the year. In the times when the weather is being trying, I try and make sure my dogs get more mental exercise to combat the lesser physical exercise. With all that said, I would do the same with a clients pet. I would treat them as my own and give them the best quality care while they are with me.

I can administer all kinds of medication, and have a past in diabetic care with insulin needles, and oral, liquid medications, and ointment. About: Hi! I'm Heather — a lifelong animal lover who has rarely spent a single day without a dog by my side. I've been caring for dogs my entire life and currently share my home with four dogs of my own — a 9lb Chihuahua, a 9lb Yorkie-Chi mix, a 50lb Lab mix, and a 75lb Red Retriever — plus a cat and some fish. Safe to say animals are my life! After losing a beloved dog who was poorly cared for at a kennel, I became passionate about providing the kind of attentive, loving care that every pet deserves. I know how much trust it takes to hand your fur baby to someone else — and I take that seriously. I'm available for drop in visits, dog walks, and house sitting. I'm comfortable with all sizes and breeds and happy to accommodate cats too. I'll always follow your specific instructions and send plenty of photos so you never have to wonder how your baby is doing. Your pet isn't just a booking to me — they're family. 💙 Pet care isn't something I fit into my routine — it IS my routine. I'm home all day with four dogs of my own, so visiting or caring for your pet fits naturally into my day. I'm available mornings, afternoons and evenings and can be flexible around your schedule. Your pet will never feel like an afterthought — they'll get my full attention during every visit. When I visit your home I treat it with the same respect and care I would want someone to show mine. I follow your instructions exactly — feeding schedules, medications, special routines, off-limit areas — nothing is too detailed. I grew up understanding that pets are family members, not just animals, and that the trust you place in someone entering your home is significant. I take that seriously every single time. You'll always receive photos and updates during every visit so you know your baby is happy and well cared for.

Let me know what fits your needs and I will be more then happy to accommodate! I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Especially in their own home. I do not accept boarding as my currently home is renting.

Short stays or long, I might be your ideal sitter! I have so many repeat clients and looking forward to building some new ones here around Fluvanna! Happy to arrange pickup or travel for meet/greets within 10mi or so. Or come see the farm, you and your pups will be impressed! Thanks for your interest! Ben Gathright My mom I will usually walk dogs between 1 to 3 miles per day around the property at least twice a day. My farm chores require a couple of hours daily earring sunrise, otherwise I’m at my laptop around the house, usually in the kitchen, working on architectural projects 4 to 6 hours per day with plenty of time for breaks to play with pups and or tend as needed. I’ve cared for dogs all my life and will follow every quirk that every dog has. Im Comfortable administering most oral medications, providing elderly care, maintaining separation as each pet owner prefers. The more I know, the better care I’ll be able to give!

About: I have had dogs since I can remember! I have worked in kennels and dog grooming. I have worked with all different breeds and sizes. I have raised and trained many dogs of all breeds. Currently, I work from home, so my schedule is flexible. I have a 9 year old daughter who has been raised with all animals and is very comfortable around dogs. I have a fenced in yard and a golden retriever who is super friendly! I do have a crate in my house if that is needed/preferred.
About: Friendly sitter with experience with senior pups, cats and chickens. I currently have two wonderful dogs and a handful of chickens. One of our dogs is what we believe is a Foxhound and the other is a Shepherd mix. Both are rescues so we are not sure. I also have experience with cats, parrots (green crowned conure) and various farm animals. Update: I no longer work from home. I am now in Richmond M-F, 8-5. I am happy to stop by during my lunch break to check on your babies in the city. Any other surrounding areas would have to be weekends and not during work hours. Apologies for any inconvenience! I am happy to stop by your home and care for your pets. One of my pups is reactive and we do not want to make her (or your baby) uncomfortable by bringing other pets into our space.
“Erica has been amazing with our dog and cat! We can trust her and she’s very reliable. She sends a full report and includes photos of our animals. We are definitely using her in the future!”

I can clean up any accidents left behind so you come home to a clean house after your day at work or away. I can help with training to solidify any tricks or behaviors you're trying to accomplish with your dog! I'll be sure to show your fur baby the same level of love and attention as if they were my own! I work night shift, so I am used to weird hours if needed! I am a runner so I can take your dog with me if they need a little extra exercise! I will treat your dog like they are my own! I will gladly give treats, meals, extra potty breaks, walks, runs, whatever is needed for your pet!
About: I’ve taken care of many animals throughout my life since I was young. Friends, family, significant others, and my own which entailed bathing, walking, training, feeding, and just going outside and playing fetch with them. My whole life I have been a major animal lover of all shapes and sizes, and I have years of experience to make you comfortable with me taking care of your pet. I make it my priority to spend as much time with my dog Sadie as possible, I bathe when necessary because she loves to be outside and makes a mess of herself I walk her, feed her, and take her to the dog park with me some days. I will do whatever you all would like to do when it comes to your fur babies if that entails crating when necessary I can, or giving your dog medication, I would love if you’d like me to take your dog on walks it’s always good for them to get as much exercise as possible, just know that when it comes to your pets I understand how important it is to be getting the proper care and I will make sure that will happen. I’m currently unemployed and I’m very much available right now, I would like to work more full time like Monday-Friday 8am-5pm I can also do boarding. I would ensure your dog is safe and well taken care of, monitoring the dog at all times is key and being aware of surroundings for the fur baby.

“This was our first time leaving Pepe with a sitter and our first time using Rover, so we were a bit nervous, you never really know who you’re leaving your dog with. But Riley was exceptional from the very beginning. Even before I booked her, she helped me figure out how the app worked and made the whole process easy. During Pepe’s stay, she kept me 100% informed at all times with photos, videos, and messages. She was incredibly attentive, caring, and professional. I truly felt peace of mind knowing Pepe was in her hands. I have no doubt he was well cared for, and I would absolutely book her again. Thank you so much, Riley, for treating Pepe like your own dog, we truly appreciate it.”
