“Whitney stayed with our two dogs and guinea pigs for a week and did such a great job! We really appreciate her clear communication and attention to detail, and our dogs were in great shape when we returned. We would happily recommend Whitney and will book her again in the future!!”

About: I’ve had a dog in my household my entire life. I worked on a farm for two summers so I have a lot of experience with animal care. I’ve been a pet sitter in some capacity for roughly 8 years and I have experience with puppies, dogs of all ages, and dogs with anxiety and trauma issues. During high school I regularly took care of two dogs with anxiety and high energy. I did my senior year thesis project in high school on dog behavior, training and reactivity. As part of my project I got my dog and cat first aid certification from the Red Cross, which has since lapsed while I was getting my EMT license. Also as well as working for Rover for a couple summers, after high school I worked at a dog kennel for close to a year which saw up to about 40 dogs a day. Now I’m in college and looking to spend some time with dogs since we don’t have one of our own. I’ll take excellent care of your furry family members if given the opportunity! I work 3 days a week but am out of school for the summer so I have plenty of other time for walks and drop ins! As of right now I don’t offer any service in my home. For my other services, in Burlington we live in close proximity to a lot of little walks and hikes that I would love to take your pups on! Or just a little walk around the block if that’s what your pup prefers. For drop ins I follow any instructions clients leave for me, and do my best to make the pup feel cared for and loved!

“Nicole was amazing! My dogs absolutely adored her and we were having some flight troubles getting back home and she was extremely flexible with us. It was so nice not to worry about my dogs being left without care”

“Emma was so sweet with my dog while I was away. He warmed up to her quickly (he can be shy) and got comfortable enough to sleep by her feet in bed. She kept me updated with how things were going periodically. I would definitely recommend Emma to others!”

“Reed was fantastic! His communication was excellent and he provided updates so we knew he and our dog were both doing great. He showed up on time and was flexible about when he’d depart wanting to ensure our pup wouldn’t be alone too long. Thank you Reed!”

“William took great care of Maddie while we were gone for a week. Due to her being an elderly bulldog, she has some medical needs, which he attended to very well. I would have no issue, leaving my dog with him again for a short or long periods of time as a dog sitter. I would highly recommend him!”

About: Everyone around me knows how much I love pets. I have helped dog sitting my boss’s dog, and as a first timer, I know I did great! I’m working a full time job, I’m ready for anything after working hours and weekends. For occasional home visits, I can make some exceptions depending on my schedule. I myself have a cat, and I haven’t been able to assess how she would react with other pets so I’m holding off on bringing other pets at my place for now. Otherwise, for the clients, I make sure I observe all safety measures and that I’m giving them all the love.

“Cindy took such good care of my dog while I was away on vacation. She kept in regular touch with me, by providing updates on how things were going, as well as pictures, which really put my mind at ease. It was the first time my dog hadn't been watched by either friends or family, so it meant a lot to find someone that genuinely loves animals and was fully committed to my dog's needs, as she was very attentive to my instructions regarding his eating schedule and other routines. When I got home, my place was spotless, and she had taken the extra step of doing laundry and making the bed, so I would have clean sheets to return to! I would highly recommend Cindy for anyone looking for an extremely reliable, responsible, and caring dog sitter.”

“Julia was awesome with Isaac and kept me updated throughout the day with pictures and messages. I felt very comfortable with her immediately and will absolutely reach out to her again with future bookings! I also want to note how accommodating she was - arriving at 5:30am so I could get to an important meeting. I so appreciate her punctuality and ability to take in Isaac’s care plan so quickly. Isaac is a shy rescue and it takes a special person for him to warm up so quickly. Thank you, Julia!”

About: I grew up with dogs (1 lab and 2 doodles), and I miss them so much while I am away at school. I have cared for neighbors’ and friends’ dogs since I was in middle school, offering both dog-walking and overnight pet care services. I also have experience caring for salt-water aquaria. I currently work a 9-5 with flexible hours. I am available for early morning, lunchtime, and evening walks. I am also free on the weekends. My apartment is unfortunately not pet friendly, but I do offer overnight pet sitting at the dog’s home. I have experience house sitting for families with pets, and I am more than happy to provide references.

“Sade was the BEST - sending pictures of Marvin, taking him to our local reservoir, giving him plenty of snuggles, and just letting us feel relaxed while we’re away. Marvin isn’t the easiest dog sometimes and we feel so calm and comfortable knowing he’s in Sade’s hands!”

“Meg was really wonderful with my dog Sawyer. Starting even before my trip, Meg communicated with me regularly, read the notes I sent about Sawyer's care, and even came by for an initial introduction visit to make sure it felt like a good fit. Meg communicated regularly with me while I was gone and sent photos as well! She let me know if she was leaving the house and for how long so I could turn on the dog camera. The house was left incredibly clean. I will definitely be reaching out to Meg again should I need care for Sawyer.”

About: Hello! My name is Wren and I'm a college student with a summer internship in DC. I have been fostering dogs and puppies since I was 5 years old. I also have multiple years of pet-sitting experience (both dogs and cats), and I had two dogs and a cat growing up that I was partially responsible for until I graduated from high school. I am an active individual and I love to go on walks and runs. Currently I am available during the day on Fridays and at night the rest of the week. I will have more availability in May because I will not have started my next internship so I will be free every day. In June I am available before and after my 9-5 job and a longer-term pet-sitting option would be my preference. I do not currently have a place to offer for boarding, but I can assure you that I will comply with all house and Rover rules, as well as respect your pet/space and keep it clean.

“Ollie is simply WONDERFUL! Our pups love Ollie so much and he goes above and beyond to take care of them. He sends thoughtful updates and pictures and is highly professional. Ollie took exceptional care of our house when we were away, too. We are so lucky to have found him and we can’t recommend Ollie for your pup needs enough!!”
