About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats from a very young age. I have been walking dogs for others and dog/house-sitting for over three years and I volunteered at an animal shelter for two years. I have experience with giving medications to both cats and dogs as well as following directions for post-op care while taking care of pets. I understand that pets are like family and I treat them as such! I am completely free Friday through Sunday and I will be done with class for the day around 3 on weekdays. I can usually be around before 10 AM on most weekdays as well. Each weekday is different with my current semester, so I may have more flexibility than expected, depending on the week. I have experience with giving pets medications at certain times due to having a cat of my own that has to take daily supplements. I like to send pet owners pictures of their pets while they're away so that they have peace of mind about their pet being happy and healthy! I will follow any directions given for entering/exiting the home and how you specifically like your pet to be cared for.

About: I have had a dogs all of life. With many different breeds and personality it’s been such a joy for me to get to spend time with them and care for them at all different ages. I work 6-4:30 Monday through Friday and get a lunch break every day, a reliable car for transportation if needed. I also am familiar with most of the dog parks in the area if that is of interest, and I know great place for stimulating walks. I have extra crates, extra treats, lots of play mats, treat mats, and feeding mats to provide extra stimulation when needed. I know it’s not easy for you to be away from your babies, think of how they must feel.

This is Melissa’s second time doing drop ins for our two dogs and it has been the best experience! We think she truly cares and loves to interact with our dogs and it shows in her care.
