About: I’ve been taking care of Dogs since I was 8 different types of dogs. This allowed me to understand different types of dog behavior. It's been a true passion of mine to take care of dogs. I'm currently free as of now. I have time to house sit just about anytime of the week whether it's a weekend or a weekday at any time scheduled. I have a fenced-in yard that sits around 2 acres which allows bigger or smaller dogs to be able to get their Exercise or space needed to play.
About: *I have been taking care of pets not only on a personal level for over 20 years but on a professional level as well for 10 years. I have prior experience as a veterinary technician assistant and can handle pets no matter what the situation may be. I have prior experience with senior pets or even pets with special needs. I of course have experience with pets that are full of energy and love to play. And we can't forget about the puppies who need help with socializing and potty training. I can also give baths, ear cleaning and nail trims as well just let me know. *All animals are unique in their own special way, they have things they like and things they do not like, while in my care I can promise that their care will be fitted to your fur babies needs while you are away. *I am always available to give your fur baby all the love and attention they need while you are away. I am available for drop ins, daycare, boarding just let me know the dates and times that you are needing and we can get it arranged. *I live in a house on a secluded 1.32 acres of land along with a large fenced yard. I have 2 small children as well but trust me I have experience with spicy animals as well as making sure safety is a priority. I have 5 friendly dogs that would love to have play dates or I can easily crate or separate my own personal pets or your pets (with your permission) if needed. If crating is not an option my house is set up to where I can keep my personal pets and your pets separated from each other without the need of crates. I also have plenty of toys and even a doggy pool to help keep your fur babies happy while you are away. I offer the option of pickup/drop offs being done but only by meeting outside, I do not want the fur babies to feel like I am taking them away from their owner. Thank you for your understanding and support in this matter! I am currently a stay at home mom. I have two beautiful children along with 5 very spoiled dogs that I consider my own children as well. I have a fenced yard and crates if you are okay with crating. I also have baby gates as well. If dogs need to have separation time that is understandable or if they need to be separated 100% of the time I can have that set up with no issues. Everyone's safety is 100% important no matter what.

I currently work and am a student at the University of Florida! I am still pretty flexible on my time, so reach out and we can work something out! Like stated earlier, I have many years of experience of pet sitting from different clients and work places. I have gained knowledge from each place that I plan to use for the safety and well being of any future clients! pets

I would love to take in your cute pups even if they are not potty trained; I have experience and am willing to help potty train or any other forms of training you would like your pup to continue while you are away. I will play, walk, cuddle, and love all fur babies! Dogs of any age (as long as they have some vaccinations), size, and gender are welcome in here!
“Really patient with my active dog. She has plenty of experience with Healer breeds like my Tink and knows how to keep her entertained. Tink is a happier pup when Brittany spends time with her. Fully recommend!”

I’ll make your pet’s happiness, safety, and well-being my top priority—so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing they’re in loving hands. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and any special requirements to ensure consistency with their daily routine. During each visit, I’ll provide plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and companionship while also respecting your home and your pet’s established routine. I’ll keep you updated with photos and detailed visit summaries, giving you peace of mind while you’re away.
About: I have been caring for animals my whole life, including having had cats, dogs, fish, and as a pet. I am familiar with caring for older animals that have lost the ability to fully care for themselves, caring for puppies or kittens, and pets with disabilities (blind, or sick etc.). So I am qualified to care for a pet at any age and just about any level of health! I work my own hours at my job and I have no scheduled weekly activities so I am free to come by and help at almost any day/time! I care for my cat at home by spending time with her playing and cuddling when I am free, letting her curl up with me in bed, and having her sit with me while I cook or do homework! In a client's home I would be interacting with the pets, feeding them, walking them to give them good exercise (for applicable pets), giving them cuddles and love, and providing a safe, clean space for them!

About: Hi I'm Gabby! Animals have been part of my life for a long as I can remember. I grew up a horse girl and while living in China finally got my own dog, Taco, who I ended up bringing back here to the states with me. Currently, my family is Taco and my two foster fail cats, Khinkali and Aeon. Before moving to Florida, I ran my own pet sitting business in Cincinnati and fell into the niche of working with animals who had behavioral issues- from cats who had severe fear of strangers to dogs who had to be specifically handled due to their aggression. Routine is so important to the well being of our pets and the ability to get out and live our lives is so important to the well being of ours. My goal is to make life easier for you and your pet and make finding a pet sitter the least stressful part of pet ownership. As a bonus I am also a professional photographer and love to send a few portraits along with my updates! I currently create my own schedule around pet sitting jobs so my availability is open and flexible! I am happy to work with you to make sure we come up with a schedule that is best for your pet. As I offer services in other people’s homes I want them to feel comfortable having me there! I am fine with any security measures such as cameras and like to discuss how often clients want updates for peace of mind.
About: I have had and taken care of dogs of all age ranges over the years. I used to foster and take in rescues, so I’m used to all types of doggie personalities, sizes and ages. My dogs are like my children, and I will treat yours with the same love and care as my own. I am experienced with smaller and bigger dogs, and am adaptable to whatever their routine and needs may be! I want you to feel comfortable, knowing your babies are being taken care of while you’re at work or away. I usually work Thursday through Saturday, but sometimes that changes. Even if I have something planned on a day off, it’s something I can usually work around a walk or drop in easily. I live in a home where my fur babies have a fenced in area, as well as a free roam area. Im okay walking your pup or letting them out into a fenced area, whichever you prefer. My pups are crate trained so I am happy to make sure yours is safe and secured in theirs before I leave if that’s something that you use for their safety. Each pet is different, so I will look to your instructions for specifics on how to handle your fur baby and make the visit most enjoyable for them.

“When we go out of town, we always worry about the furry family member we leave behind. We have a 9 yo diabetic yellow lab Buddy and because of his special needs, had in the past, spend most of our trip worrying if he was getting the care he needed. Until we found rover and Rhea. She is very caring and compassionate with Buddy, giving him long walks, affection and attention to his special needs. Rheas' daily report cards and photos put our minds at ease that Buddy was well cared for in our absence. Because of Rheas' compassion for animals and dependability, we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for that special caregiver.”

About: I have had my own dogs and cats my whole life and currently have one dog and one cat. I worked at an animal shelter through high school with all kinds of dogs and cats and am comfortable with pretty much anything they can throw at me. Sometimes accidents happen and it’s ok and sometimes they get scared when new people are around which is totally understandable. I’m very comfortable being patient with any animal who needs a little extra love and understanding. I am currently a full time student and usually my day is pretty open on any day I don’t have class and in between my classes. I have two pets of my own who I get up early to take care of before class and always make sure I’m home to take care of after class. Weekends that I’m not visiting family are usually completely free as well. In a client’s home, the most important thing for any nervous pet will be respecting boundaries. I have a nervous girl dog and girl cat so I totally understand when they are a little hesitant to new people. But if they are sociable and want plenty of love I can absolutely give that too. I am very good at reading their body language and actions to determine what they want or need in the moment and will absolutely respect that their space if they want that.
About: I'm a very responsible adult professional. Once I commit, you can rest assured that your pet(s) will be in the very best hands. We have always had our pets as part of our family and I play an active role in taking care of our beloved maltipoo, Gus. I have also cared for other's pets for extended periods when they've gone out of town many times. I love walking and going on adventures! I currently have flexible part-time jobs where I make my own hours. This means I have time and can make my own schedule based on the needs of the pet care. I'm open and can chat about what times would work for you! :) I follow directions to exact specifications. My goal is to provide companionship and comfort. The most important thing to me is that your pet doesn't feel alone. I'm here to offer that! I often make sure our Gus has a spot nearby me as much as he wants!
About: I have years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to senior companions. Growing up in a dog-loving family, I’ve been around dogs my whole life and am comfortable handling different breeds and temperaments. I’m patient, attentive, and experienced in basic training, medication administration, and maintaining routines to ensure a stress-free experience. Whether it’s long walks, belly rubs, or playtime, I provide personalized care tailored to each pet’s needs. Your furry friend will be treated like family! I'm currently only a full-time student, so I have a flexible schedule, making it easy to accommodate pet care throughout the day. Whether it's morning walks, midday check-ins, or overnight stays, I can adjust to your pet’s routine. I live in an apartment community with plenty of grass areas for walking, and I also have my own fenced patio that would provide larger pets an area to sit outside and sun-bathe while remaining safe. I don't have any pets of my own to conflict with your pets. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. In my care, pets are always supervised, and I ensure a clean, secure, and pet-friendly environment. I follow pet parents' instructions closely, maintain open communication, and provide regular updates.
About: I love Rover! I mean, what better job exists than to get paid to spend time with other people's animals? My name is Dan, and I have been around animals my whole life. Currently I am a cat dad of two girls, but I am also comfortable and familiar with dogs, rabbits, and other animals as well. I currently live in a large three bedroom. The property is out in the country, but only a few miles away from Gainesville, so it's far enough to be away from the sounds and stress of the city without really being in the middle of nowhere. It's not the fanciest place, in need of remodeling, but it is calm, comfortable, and pet friendly. There is no smoking inside. The property is not fenced, so I will be keeping everyone inside, except for supervised walks, etc. I am able to board cats, most dogs, and other animals as well. I work from home in addition to doing this, so when I do have a furry guest, I am home twenty four hours a day. I like to actually spend time with the animals I have visiting, so if you have a super playful dog- or one that just likes to hang out on the couch next to someone- I'd probably be a good match. If I am not boarding anyone at the moment, I can walk dogs, feed cats, etc, as well, as long as you are not too far away from where I live. Things I require: 1. I need to meet your animals first (especially for dogs). 2. If I don't feel comfortable , or I feel like an animal is not comfortable with me, I will not confirm the booking. Animals are just like people, we all have those we like and don't like, so don't take it personal if I decline a booking. 3. I do need emergency contact and vet information. I hope I never have to deal with any emergency, but it is better to be prepared and ready, than to be running around scrambling if something does happen. 4. Of course, I need as much food, etc, as is needed for the stay. Things I offer: 1. Lots of attention. Of course, some animals- especially some cats- aren't really keen on it, and that's okay! But if they are, I love to play with my guests! 2. I don't mix animals from different families. 3. I don't charge extra for extra cats, and I only charge a little bit extra for extra dogs. I have been doing this off and on for some time now, and while I don't have as many clients as I want to have, my reviews are good and solid for a reason. I have my own two cats who take up all my time when I'm not out taking care of other people's animals, or otherwise working. The only time I'm usually not available is if I have already made prior commitments. I treat animals like they are children, because to me, they are. My own two are my favorite people in this world, but I love animals in general. I especially enjoy cats, friendly dogs, and giant rabbits. 😃 I like to treat each cat, dog, rabbit, etc, as the unique personality they are. Some cats, for example, are a little more standoffish than others. The best thing to do with them is to not push them. Nobody cat or human likes someone standing in front of them demanding attention ! Some dogs, for example, are very laid back and really just want to lay next to you and snuggle. Others are always ready to play! I am knowledgeable about safety, and when I am doing a drop in visit, I always keep an eye out for anything that doesn't look right. When I am dog walking, I like to go places that are less traveled, I keep my attention fully on them, and on everything going on around us. When I am with your animals, they are my first and only priority.

“Danielle was very easy to communicate with, and we are very grateful for the peace of mind she gave us in watching our dogs while my fiancé and I worked long shifts. I could tell That she truly enjoys interacting with dogs, and from the pictures and texts she sent it was obvious that our dogs were comfortable with her and enjoyed her visits. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again to care for them.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
