My dog had a fabulous time with Amy and her other dogs. I was from out of State and was nervous to leave my girl with a stranger, but she showed me around and explained her setup and system of care. It put me at ease. My dog went off wagging her tail with Amy without even looking back at me. Amy texted me updates and pictures of my dog during the day. I would recommend Amy to everyone who loves their dog.

Sadie and Lola had the BEST day playing with their new friends! I’ve had a lot of experience with Rover and could easily see that my girls felt welcomed and cared for throughout their stay! Jamie was quick and efficient in responding to all my questions. I received updates and pictures throughout the day and could see my girls were in the best of hands! Sadie and Lola will be back soon! I highly recommend Jamie!

Angel is wonderful! We've been having a hard time giving our dog the attention and structure he needs during the day since we had our baby, so being able to place him with Angel a few days a week has been a lifesaver! She is very kind, and accommodating to our dogs specific quirks. Thanks Angel!

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and currently care for a multi-dog household of my own, so I’m very comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines. From high-energy breeds that need structure and exercise to older dogs who just want a calm, predictable environment—I adjust my care to fit what your dog actually needs. I have hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding routines, crate training, basic commands, and monitoring group dynamics to keep things safe and stress-free. I’m especially mindful when introducing dogs, supervising play, and making sure everyone gets attention without things becoming chaotic or overwhelming. I’m also used to keeping a close eye on behavior and health—changes in appetite, energy, or mood don’t go unnoticed. If something seems off, I catch it early and communicate right away. Above all, I treat every dog like they’re my own: safe, structured, and well cared for… with a little extra spoiling mixed in. Your dog won’t just be watched—they’ll be known, understood, and genuinely cared about while they’re with me. I work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility to build my day around the dogs in my care—not the other way around. I’m able to accommodate a variety of routines, including specific feeding schedules, medication timing, crate needs, or just extra attention for dogs who need it. Structured potty breaks are offered at least every 2 hours, and I’m home throughout the day to provide consistent supervision, interaction, care and additional breaks if needed. Whether your dog thrives on structure or needs a little extra flexibility, I can adjust to what works best for them to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. All care is provided in my home, where I keep things calm, structured, and closely supervised. Because I’m home throughout the day, dogs are not left unattended for long periods, and I’m able to actively monitor behavior, play, and overall well-being. I’m very intentional about safety—introductions are done slowly and thoughtfully, and I pay close attention to each dog’s temperament to make sure everyone is a good fit. I don’t allow chaotic, unsupervised group play. Instead, I keep things controlled so dogs can feel comfortable, not overwhelmed. My home is dog-friendly and set up with both secure indoor space and safe outdoor access for potty breaks and fresh air. I also maintain clean routines for feeding, water, and rest areas to keep everything consistent and stress-free. Above all, I treat every dog like they’re my own—kept safe, well cared for, and genuinely looked after, not just “watched.”

About: We’ve had animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm in southern KY I am used to caring for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, miniature pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, etc! Our animals have always been apart of our family and go where we go! Our animals are allowed on the furniture, sleep in our bed, and love to visit our parents house! I am a stay at home mom so adding a pet into our daily routine is actually pretty easy! We’re used to care for our own dog! We just have them join whatever we’re doing which makes it easier. I have two Littles who love to play outside and take them walks so I usually just have our pups tag along! Our pups routine is usually out to pee in the morning, a walk after her breakfast, lots of outdoor play or sunbathe time while me and my two kiddos play our back, another walk once the kids take their naps, more play time with the kids, another walk after dinner, then a pee break before we get into bed for the night! I’m home all day as a stay at home mom and my husband is fully remote so our pup is used to having somewhere there for whatever she needs or when we do go out and about if we’re able to we take her! Our dog frequents our parents house for even more cuddles and play! Animals are always part of the family on our end.

About: I currently work at a doggy daycare/boarding business in NKY, I’ve learned a lot from working there. My love for dogs has grown more than I could imagine. I’ve had many pets growing up and I now have two of my own. I have two dachshunds named Harmony and Hazel. My favorite pet I’ve ever owned was my chinchilla! Her name was Bella. A home is not the same without a pet. I currently work a part time job and know my schedule two weeks at a time. I also have a business and work from home for that. I know my schedule usually months ahead of time. With that being said, my schedule is flexible! I can work mornings, mid day and evenings. I have a large back yard and a cute neighborhood that I walk my two dogs around. I live close to a few parks. I also have a full finished basement so if you need your pet to be crated or would like for them have a large space to themselves I have plenty of room.

About: I've always have dog in my life, and my passion for dogs will last forever. My friend told me that I don't treat my dogs as dogs but babies. Remember, a genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being are at the heart of any successful pet care experience! I'm currently full time house wife with 2 dogs, no kids. My daily routines are my dogs, so I have a lot of time to watch yours too! We walk 4 times a day, and enjoy homemade dog treat and food. I don't have yard so I walk dogs instead (3-4 times a day), and I always clean them right after walking so they are allowed on furniture. Remember, a walk a day keep vet away. I do have crates if needed.

We were on our way to the Ark Encounter and needed a place for our two dogs to stay. Mariah and Anthony were kind enough to take them in for the day. Our dogs felt right at home. They have a nice fenced in back yard and was very safe for them to play in. Their two German Shepherds were very nice and friendly and got a long great with our two dogs. Mariah and Anthony were very friendly and we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again if we were in the area.

About: We only take dogs up to 30lbs due to my daughter being afraid of most bigger dogs despite us having one of our own. We will give consideration to dogs over that weight if we feel it’s a good fit. We have recently begun boarding in our home again and have adopted a new goldendoodle Lincoln on 3/22/24. He will be about 60lbs once full grown He’s sweet and full of energy and loves to play with all dogs. I have had my own dogs for about 11 years and have also taken care of friends pets although usually in their own homes. About: We took a break for a while so reviews and pictures are a couple years old but we’re back and would love to take care of your pets. I have been caring for dogs for as long as I could remember. I have experience with with dogs of all ages, sizes, personalities and medical needs. Your pet would be treated just like our own. We can match any type of schedule you have at home. In out home pets are more than welcome to play, eat and sleep where they please but we can crate them when leaving or at night if that’s what you do Being here they would get lots of attention and love. My daughter loves pets and loves to help with everything. We can take them to parks, car rides, walks, play with them and give them lots of love. If your pet isn’t adventurous and playful we also love couch cuddles and relaxing. We will keep you updated with lots or pictures of how they are enjoying their-self. We love getting to experience and take care of the different breeds, sizes and personalities of the dogs and cats. We are available for long term or short term stays. We have a big yard your dog can run around and play in. There is always someone home so pet care is always in our schedule. Your pet will rarely be alone so they will get all the attention and love they need In my home we always have someone to care for your pet since we work opposite schedules. Feeding and potty breaks and stay on the same schedule you do at home, we can go on walks. We allowed animals to be on couches and beds but if you don’t allow that we can keep it that way too

About: I have taken care of animals big and small for most of my life; goats, chickens, cats, dogs, geese, rabbits, fish, snakes, rats, geckos, tortoises, pigeons, and probably more. I have pet sit for many friends and family members, and now that I have a cat of my own, I know how much trust one must put in someone to watch their pet. I have also cared for animals in a professional setting at Madison Children's Museum (where I cared for chickens, pigeons, crested geckos, turtles, tortoises, and rats) and was trained in their care. I am used to feeding my cat and cleaning her litter box every morning. Along with this, I sweep because she is a menace who launches her litter across the room. I will treat your pet as if they are my own family, talking to them as if they can respond, and giving them all the love I have. I will also follow any special instructions you have for me, and try to keep your pet on their preferred schedule - I want you both to be as comfortable as possible.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 282 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Williamstown. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Williamstown commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in KY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 282 sitters in Williamstown, 88% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
